  1. unfortunatelly no videos But i'le male some onroad videos when I come back To home, an offroad video will be The final one :3
  2. And i have only The rechargeable 7,4V battery box, try your huracan with alkaline AAA and rechargeable one you'll see how much is The difference :(
  3. Mmmmmmh sure you have to change wheels >.> but I love small MOCs *-*
  4. Sorry but the maximum size isn't 1024x768? Only the suggested is 800x600, my pictures are near the 1024 one, are they ok?
  5. Sure it is What I want! For that solution I'll use a rechargeable 9v that is a 7 cells (that means 8,4V) it should be ok but totally the "9V" with the motor could weight as an additional battery box but sure the L motor makes the trucks able to reach 8-9 kph :3
  6. The reason why I'm near to fail this MOC is one, really simple, and called: thermal protection Searching in philo website I've found that all lego battery boxes have a thermal protection (that don't Let them give to motors/receivers more than 750mA/h) this is a bad news because even if the v2 receiver could power up one L motor and one buggy motor togheter (normal propulsion+ boost) the battery box cut out its power after sole seconds, this Could be useful To make an electronic overcherge of the boost that acts like the motorstorm one, but... The boost in that small amount if time hasn't enough power to speed up the truck, after different gearing tries i've definitelly left that mechanis. So those are some options that could save this building, but I need some help and please suggest whatever you want! 1) a subtractor mechanism with two L motors (reduced speed but it could work, and I think I could make the autobraking system when "overcharged") 2) buy another battery box, by the Weight will be too high I think and also lipo battery are expensive 3) and old 9v motor move a switch that control the L motor powered by the old 9V small battery box (more weight and without an autobraking system)
  7. your gearbox looks Very good ;) but you have said that you want to use only one battery box, I don't know what Will be The final gearing (maybe The higher gear 1,6:1 if you gear up The motors and use The New differential gear To balance It?) but i mind you that you can't power 4G motors With a medium-high load with only one battery box due To The battery box thermal cutoff, and also you have To consider that your Car has To be ready for an sbrick so if you use 2 battery boxes you need The old electric connector brick To put them parallely for the sbrick hope i've explained Well My question
  8. This is the final version of the gearbox, due To my 3M clutch is is really fluid and it doesn't use too much power To work Those are some photos of the clutch hope they will be useful for you But I have a bad new, I'm nera ti fail this MOC :(
  9. I'finding some problem using one RC motor and The servo motor in The same receiver Due To The constantely use of power of The servo Electronic, But the motor has an high load so io You Wang to put 2L motors with an high load and only one lipo box you'll have Little bit more power if You don't put servo and motors To The same receiver (V2)
  10. In the second part you're wrong, both are RC due the two meaning of "RC" but the unit is a unit because it doesn't has only the electronic receiver but also the servo motor for stering like the old rc units that had also motors included, instead PF receivers are only the receiver in fact you have to add motors ;) I don't want to continue this out topic just i've explained why is better that you say IR receiver instead of RC unit, they are two different things
  11. i've edited My post, did I explain better my thought?
  12. ok don't worry ;) I remind You that "RC" means either "Remote Controlled" or "Radio Controlled".Talking about lego "RC unit" (if I'm right) means The black unit, "IR receiver" are The new infrared PF unit, There are also old infrared unit but with "receiver" you'll mean The PF one
  13. i've read about only ir receivers not rc units this in My think
  14. sure it happens, but obviously you need more torque to move it ;)
  15. Also it is possible with one placeholder of the sbrick? We Could show how better will be our creation with sbrick
  16. Ohh thanks, but it isn't finished ;) i completed the aestethics only to see how much space I have to fit the boost mechanism, and I have to see if the battery box are enough powerful to power the RC motor and the L motor ;)
  17. thank you! This is my last process, i've added the mirrors and the motor cage, now the cabin is 1m more o long and the cage 1M shorter than before, i can't make openable doors due To the small scale and I have to fit into the cabin the boost mechanism and the receivers, taking about the cage if you see the photo its measure are taken by the wole truck, and it has not to touch the bodywork so 1M is the smaller distance, also i'm using angle 5 (67,5°)connector To fix the cage to the motor cover (not finished) only because i don't hav angle 4 (45°) red connectors :( and i need to modify the steering or find some piece that are shorter than the 5,5M axle with the stop at 1M PS: it is really funny to drive this truck and use the 2speed gearbox, it only requires big space to reach the highest speed, like its "real" brother molotov baikal ahahah
  18. I tink that is difficult To have more than 0,5kg pulling torque and with this torque my tracked scorpion works well and the gears don't slip ;)
  19. i think You should make The movement faster, is it possible? You Will have more realistic MOC And also if you want To do a video it will be little bit boring :( anyway I really like you work And The mechanisms used in this Moc :)
  20. Hey! I've finished the bodywork, What di you think about? Is really hard for me to build realistic Lines To emulate the molotov baikal, but this has a really funny shape :3 The the battery of my iPod died so I decided to put another detail :') Please tell me your opinion, expecially if it isn't good ;)
  21. Areyou sure that 2 rc units are agree with the rules of this contest? O.o anyway i'm waiting your finished MOC :3
  22. Sure this is a great MOC to enter in this contest :3
  23. i completed the cage for the cockpit, but I'm worried about one thing, although I'm quite optimistic To acheive to build a great bodywork, I'm not dure if my boost function will work, testing this MOC I've seen that the gearbox works well but also that the power used by it make (for example) impossible to shift down the gear when it is not moving, I don't have the lego original system for gearboxes and I need To move To shift gear but in the second gear the buggy motor, combied with the gearbox motor use al the battery power, si I hope that turbo won't stole all the power that he use To power up the buggy motor, or I need an other battery box and the Weight will be too much (I'm using the lipo battery box but I don't know if it is tired :') ) also I'm not very sure about the cage, but i've used all my red piece To do it and I can make a better one only in black D:
  24. interesting idea :3 i can't wait To see how it works ;)
  25. How you'll make a gearbox with 5 speed controlled by one servo? o.O
