Location: A08 - Crentium Tags: Ground Vehicle, Exploration -Explorer SpacerSteve is scouting the surface of Crentium in search of suitable locations for future MANTIS operations. - -There appears to be a large quantity of water below the rocky surface. The water seeps through the cracks seasonally. This location will be suitable for resource mining - -The beacon is in place. I had better recall the recon robot and head back to camp. - - - - - -Connecting to the robot's neural interface. I'll drive us back. - -This rock has different characteristics than the surrounding terrain. I'll take it back to camp. for further study Time for food. Hope they are serving "laser beans" for dinner tonight. - - Some more pics of the build. - - - Thanks for looking C&C is welcome. I'm always trying to build better so suggestions are always welcome.

Ha ha excellent work! Really cool how you made the tracks in the dirt and the different creatures in different scales. The whole bit about you being emperor of Andromeda was great!

Nice build the BEGP is neat. Definitely something a MANTIS scientist would create. The Mobile greenhouse is cool too.

Now that the Unknown Menace is complete when do we get to know what the menace is? Unless it is so unknown that we can't know that it is unknown.

Thanks for the great compliment! I didn't have that many MANTIS colored parts before the AG. Thankfully There is a used lego store near by that sells bulk lego for cheap! I've never built a ship this large. I wanna build more I'm glad it turned out well. I kind of procrastinated. I started this this Friday evening and finished on Saturday. It is quite heavy even though it is mostly hollow. Lots of technic beams. Thanks Little John. I was going to build 4 more rooms inside but decided not to push it. The technic lighting I great fun! My brother let me borrow his lights for the challenge. I will definitely be getting my own now! I would have liked the exterior to be a little smoother but I kind of had to improvise. Now that you mention it I see the similarity. Thanks Umbra-Manis! Thanks a lot judges for all your hard work! That was a very fun competition for me! -

Neat ship you built. It looks like it has good playability. The concealed defense turrets are neat. What a sad end to the story though. I also like how you built the cockpit.

M squad is a great idea. Maybe MANTIS could have a B squad. Now where to get all the torsos with a large B on them. Nice ship its a bit of a x-wing mixed with an APC. good work. -

Excellent ship and a funny story. I busted up at the ninja part. The one problem with it is it has too much red on it. Replace the red with more green/lime green and you will be good to go

Neat overall shape and interior details. I'm curious how you got the ball sockets on the front cannons to sit outside the socket? Is this just a glitch with LDD? Great ship you built.

It looks about what an Octan ship should look like in my opinion. It has a similar look to other Octan ships built so far. Cool interior details. Great work.
