Agreed. Great start to the new season. I'd love a few SoG biker cops. Just need the torso really as the rest can be made out of existing parts.

PS -- multiple YouTube videos are claiming June 30th, so that's tonight in the U.S. They're could all be citing themselves though. We'll find out in 5 hours or so.- 4,591 replies

Not necessarily so. I distinctly remember Season 8 episodes showing up on YouTube in the US on Friday evenings. That's Saturday in Australia, so perhaps June 30th is the premiere date there.- 4,591 replies

Season 8 was Fridays, yes, and they popped up on YouTube around 5 pm PST. No Aussies around to verify when it starts there? :)- 4,591 replies

Wasn't Season 9 supposed to start airing in Australia around the end of June? Or is my memory totally off on that?- 4,591 replies

I don't have a problem with the Docks height. That's realistic. If the Docks buildings were as tall as the "downtown" area then they wouldn't really be Docks.

August 1 has been the assumption since Toy Fair and follows the pattern of year's past. The $229 Docks price is new info though. A lot more palatable than $299.

Not a home run, but the new pack is welcome just the same. The new Kabuki Nya = major win and fills a big figure hole.

I do have a Lego Store nearby-ish, but didn't realize they might have them. Thx for the tips.

Has anyone found the Sons of Garmadon motorcycle polybag in a retail store in the US? If so, which one?

I have a hard time imagining the sets will be out June 1st in the US. August 1st seems more likely.

This is all kinds of awesome. Like others have said, it deserves to be built with real bricks! What makes it work for me personally, besides the amazing roof line, is how the design would naturally fit with a wide variety of city building styles. It's not so "British" that it would only work on a London street corner. You could place it next to any of the existing LEGO modulars and it would still work.

Thanks! That's what we've been needing. Can't wait to own all of these. Granted, I would have done the MojoDojo a little differently with a trophy area, but digging the sign nonetheless.

Not a leak. Photographed from a store.

I'm already wanting to take that Colossi/Oni Titan figure and double it's height.

UK: June and US: August seems like a reasonable speculative assumption.

My belief is that eventually Ninjago will evolve or spin-off into something else. We'll see what the plans are post season 9 soon enough.

Boost appears to be an add-on pack. And it's been confirmed that's the only summer set on display.

And the Vermillion for that matter. It's a trend.

Many of the Season 8 LEGO sets are sold out on Amazon and Walmart where the prices were a little lower than retail. Great news for the brand. Bad news for me in the interim as I still need to pick up the S.O.G. headquarters, Killow set, and Lloyd's new ride.

Share a pic! I'm currently planning a Ninjago-themed city/land layout that will include a subway. If the S.O.G. headquarters is an abandoned subway station as expected then I'll somehow incorporate an interpretation of that alongside the working train.

The TV show has inherited the wonderful city designs from the movie. I spy Dareth's dojo, for starters. My movie and TV series sets are commingled now and they work well together. This set appeals across the Ninjago brand, not just the movie. It's also likely been in the design stage since before the movie was released.
