  1. The marketing hasn't fully kicked in. We'll get clips, TV spots, etc. as release draws nearer. I'm curious to see what the freebie is for tonight's panel. Hope it's NOT an exclusive movie figure...
  2. There's an auction for another one at $360 and climbing. A fool and his money are easily parted.
  3. Yep. There's more than one on Ebay. Hopefully a good reviewer is there and can grab one from the Lego booth.
  4. So it begins. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Unreleased-LEGO-NINJAGO-MOVIE-4867-Piece-NINJAGO-CITY-70620-Set-NEW-IN-HAND-/292190203397?hash=item4407e4ae05:g:o8wAAOSwPDZZcQDl Please, everyone, don't pay scalper prices. It will be available at Lego Stores in less than a month for VIP members.
  5. 6:45 pm PST tonight. I expect the trailer will come online shortly after it debuts during the panel.
  6. That's a lot of technic in those legs. I bet the shark mech can stand up quite a bit taller than he's on display at SDCC.
  7. What state are you in? Target may have more than what the computers are letting on...
  8. Eventually someone will mod this. It begs for it.
  9. Indeed. Yesterday all Targets were showing 2 Garma Mech Mans. Today? Vanished. Street dates carry more weight when tied to a big multimedia release (movie + game).
  10. Thanks for the thorough review!!!
  11. Let us know how you like it. I'm sitting on the fence.
  12. Good luck. I only wish it was a different set showing up. That one is my least favorite of the entire wave.
  13. Good catch. The 10 or so stores near me all have 2 in stock, but only one store marked it as saleable and none have the price.
  14. Yes thanks for the DPCIs. I expect we'll get the first confirmations of in stock by this weekend.
  15. Diverting from the movie for a moment... Walmart has lowered the price on Dragon's Forge down to $59 for anyone holding out.
  16. More YouTube videos of pictures. Just link to the pictures, people :)
  17. DPCI will tell all. I would have guessed California and not Oklahoma. If OK has 'em then the western portion of the country should.
  18. Out of curiosity what state are you in?
  19. Target is usually the first store to get them. We need DPCI numbers :)
  20. It's pretty clear the designers are using the movie sets to sneak in some neat TV series nods like that picture from Season 4 (mourning Zane's loss), Ed and Edna, Garmadon's helmet, the Borg Industries barrier, and whatever else is found.
  21. Good call. Will be the easiest one to army build, especially if it can be picked up under $15.
  22. There is a new Shark Army vehicle in the game trailer as well:
  23. Putting the Water Strider price debate to rest: http://www.thehdroom.com/offbeat/the-lego-ninjago-movie-water-strider-great-value-30-109715/
  24. From LEGO's Facebook page. Keep in mind that the folks running the Facebook page might not even be LEGO employees. They could be third-party marketing and PR folks who initially didn't know the answer and therefore guessed. Bruce B. Heller Is this a modular building? Meaning, will it connect to the Creator Expert modulars with Technic bricks and pins? LikeShow more reactions · Reply · 1 · June 22 at 4:49pm LEGO The set does have the same pins as the modular series! It will fit right into your collection (:
  25. After Ninjago City this is my most wanted set. And Hot Dog guy from the trailer is included. Probably the Baby referenced in the title as well. Notice the press release mentions 15 sets and Yahoo!'s exclusive said 18 were in the works. Sounds like Wave 2 next year.
