Very nice! The texture of the walls looks very good and the interior is full of details. I imagine it does smell quite bad however with the open courtyard/tanners workspace! Story is great as well, well done!

Such a beautiful house, I want one! So much great detail but I especially like the vines growing up the wall. Superb job CGH! -
The Empire of Corrington: Sign-up and Discussion

I like Ska's "Serentia" for #2 and agree we should save "New Corrington" for later. Interestingly Google tells me Serentia may be derived from the latin verb serō - to plant or sow. Appropriate for a new colony where the soil is rumoured to be quite good. For #10 I also violently object to Lalaland (Sorry Tomsche! ). On reflection I prefer "Cacao" for this on, but since I appear to be on my own I don't object to Cocovia or Cocaun. Also Dirk Allcock doesn't object to an Island named after him, although he'd prefer it if his name was spelt correctly ! He does however feel that maybe a settlement or smaller Island might be more appropriate for a man of his humble status.- 897 replies

Saucy Gibbon requests to sail with Quick Wing again. -
Wow, somehow I missed this great advice Gideon! Thank you very much, I shall be studying it very closely! I tried photographing my latest build from much further away, as per your advice, still the focus isn't great. The Nikon camera I'm using at the moment is borrowed from a friend, I very much need to learn how to use the manual mode and will endeavour to master it before I submit my challenge 2 entries. Again thank very so much for taking the time to provide such detailed feedback.

[ESL - MRCA Result] The capture of the Wringe I
Ayrlego replied to Legostone's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Excellent story, an enjoyable read! Pity about the Wringe, she was a very nice vessel! -
Thanks Ska for all your hard work with the MRCA results and scorecard!!! One quick question, the totals on the scorecard show our yield for February, but without adding our balance from January or Challenge 1 - is that right? If so will there be anywhere we can see our total balance? edit: or is it our responsibility to track that?

That is one solid looking ship... and so red! I didn't even know they did pre-fab hulls in red! Hopefully she has a very profitable run this month - it would be really cool to see the whole convoy together.... that would make for one very impressive fleet! Pity we are from all over the world! -

I wondered the same thing, that is a crazy lot of wigs! The new photos show just how much serious detail you incorporated and I especially like the inclusion of the photos without the ship frame and the ship frame by itself. I definitely think the time you spent on the additional photos was well worth it. Again, fantastic job! -
oh no Motorboat is gone! That's disappointing! I didn't think he was offensive! Seriously, I always enjoy your stories, keep up the good work.

A wonderful looking log cabin. I tried one recently myself and can appreciate how hard it is to get the walls stable (well i found it hard anyway ). I'd most definitely approve if I could!

A very simple, well presented build and a good backstory. Nice job, +1 approval -
A nice little ship with a good looking colour scheme (I do love a green ship!). Also like the custom sails. +1 approval from Corrington

A very nice build and interesting subject. The exterior looks quite ornate and I like how the large windows make the rooms bright - very fitting for a surgeon! I approve

Love the suspension bridge! +1 approval from Corringtion.

Oh wow! Overall second place in both categories, such an honour! Thank you so much! Big congratulations to all who placed and participated! Also a huge thank you to the leaders who put a serious amount of time into making BoBS the great experience that it is. I was blown away when I started to realise just how in depth the game goes and the level of detail in the BoBS world. Thank you again! Wow!! - thank you so much Darkdragon - I've never won anything lego related before! - I think I'll be walking around with a smile on my face all day!!

[OL -CH2A] Pride of Poseidon
Ayrlego replied to Captain Genaro's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Oh that Sir is a very nice looking addition to the rapidly growing Oleander Navy! I particularly like the sails - the detail is excellent and must have taken you a long time to make. Dark red hulls always look impressive as well! I'm no expert, but as she has two 'jibes' wouldn't she be a cutter? I only comment as I was recently educated when I incorrectly labeled my sloop Saucy Gibbon as a cutter! Not that it matters, Pride of Poseidon looks fantastic and certainly sports a most appropriate name for an Oleander vessel! Well done!- 14 replies

Thank you very much everyone for the comments and approvals. I built them as daffodils (inspired by this build here), although now you mention it they could maybe double as bees! I thought you may appreciate the cows! I managed to pick them up for US$2 each from a Bricklink store in China. They were advertised as having their heads super glued in place. I managed to brute force one open, but the other is stuck solid. Now all I need is to find some reasonably priced goats.... (fat chance! )

Thank you everyone for your comments! Thanks, I was actually quite surprised no body beat me too it in Arlinsport! Plenty of room for more - pretty sure a port can never have enough taverns! Thanks BrickOn, sorry I beat you to the post! Like I said though, plenty of room for more. I like how your's has that beach like establishment feel. Like something on the beach in 'Black Sails'. The violin is indeed non-purist - from Brickforge. I figured it would fit right in in this type of establishment. Thanks, I think that for a tavern I had so much I wanted to include, but I also wanted to restrict myself to 16x16 - so that's probably why I was less than happy. On reflection now though, I am actually quite pleased! I agree, in retrospect it does seem alittle tame. Maybe us Corries are just a well behaved and orderly people!! Thanks Bregir, I'm toying with the idea of keeping it built (although gutting the interior as I'll need all those brown tiles) and adding some more in Amelia street style.

Ayrlego replied to Kolonialbeamter's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Wow you are really pumping out these quality ships! I fear our (self declared) supremacy of the seas may be under threat!!!! Seriously though this is (another) fantastic ship. I love her sleek shape, she looks real fast and the way she tapers off towards the stern really enhances this look. I most definitely approve!! -

Great work!! The sheer scale itself is impressive – like others have said I await more detailed shots! Hail Corrington, Corrington rules the waves!
