  1. Beautiful rockwork and water!
  2. Dr. Munroe -- we received the following from Agent 867-5309 (Codename: Jenny); but sadly she has missed her last 3 check ins and we must consider her currently MIA and likely lost: Report: Delta-Bravo-38.Jenny -- I know we have long wondered about Octan's seeming lack of ELINT (Electronic Intelligence) vessels. The numbers have never added up that a corporation of that size would have virtually no ELINT assets, and I believe I've discovered why. We all know Octan loves robots and acquiring new companies. It seems that both of those things factor into their supposed lack of ELINT ships because they actually may have vastly more ELINT capability than we could have ever feared. I've discovered that they are hiding these ships in plain sight! After Octan bought out Universal Package Syndicate (UPS) and their entirely robotic delivery service it seems they took a portion of those vessels and refitted them. The outward appearance is mostly unchanged from the normal delivery vessels and they still are autonomous, but now the cargo area is used for 4 ELINT analysts and a Senior Analyst. This is likely the case for other companies they have absorbed as well. The modifications are significant enough that the vessel is almost factory new, but still appears to be of the same vintage as the other "regular" ships from the outside. The ships are able to blend into the background as everyone simply takes them as robotic cargo delivery ships and no one suspects they secretly contain some of the most advanced data gathering and analysis systems available. I was unable to get an upclose look due to security, but I believe I even saw an APGAR-97 "Cyclops" installed which would confirm that it exists! My work here continues to go unnoticed and I've even been promoted recently to have more responsibilities - they have told me I will have up to 4 robots working for me. I will continue to attempt to gather further info and try for more details on how widespread their ELINT fleet is. At a minimum I've seen 3 different UPS ships and now that I know what to look for I will try to determine what other ships may have been modified. Jenny Confirmation:: 993.Victor.Charlie Extra Pics: Doors that open! The interior is meant to be cramped kinda like a submarine I'm surprisingly smug to be in such a tight space Doors open... Doors closed... Overall view
  3. Stunning. This easily dwarfs anything I've ever attempted to build in Lego and the complexity and thoughtfulness really make this shine. I see some clever parts usage that almost gets lost in a "forest for the trees" sense. The Octan logo in the cockpit is subtle and well done. There is a fantastic balance of greebles to "big" sections. I love it. Also, it reminds me a lot of a Stingray.
  4. Sorry I missed this. That statue holding up the ceiling is incredible. The pose with the crossed legs and everything ... I mean it really does get into art territory. Wow.
  5. 33 Credits to Bob please!
  6. Really cool. I like the harvester and the container. Creative mushrooms too.
  7. I love the look of the hovercraft! The skirting is well done. Reminds me of the Savannah Master from Battletech. Feels small-ish but rugged.
  8. I agree that a touch of variety in height for the top of the waterfall would have helped, but overall the waterfall is really well done. I also like the little pump thing the guy is working on, looks industrial.
  9. Location: F10 Arium Major Tags: Science, Octan, Civil, Land Vehicle // PERSONAL DIARY // After last week's discovery we had our drones looking for other anomalies. As it turns out there was one found in the shallow waters of Arium Major. ED-208 and I grabbed an Octan brand High Speed Dual Occupant Water Craft (OCHSDOWC for short). He wasn't happy about being on the water even though I had coated him in Octan brand High Performance Robot Sealant. When we arrived at the location of the device I asked if he would rather stay in the boat with his Octan brand Personal Floatation Device for Robots, and he said it would be for the best. Given that ED-208 wouldn't be with me I brought along my Octan brand High-Definition Underwater Camera to take pictures with. The new scuba gear and fins I had brought along also helped immensely. This device seemed to be capable of both acoustic listening and water composition analysis. I'm not sure what they were looking for in the water. I'm not even sure who "they" is! Once again all I could do was upload my data to Octan HQ and await further instructions. Having found a second device I'm sure they will be more interested in who is placing these devices and why. Extra pics:
  10. Whoa, that beach scene is amazing. I like the little details on the truck like the wipers and the Octan logo on the front.
  11. The crash scene is phenomenal. Wow. I love the last tree with the pink flowers too. Feels so peaceful and serene even as the troopers rappel down around him. Another incredible build thread from you.
  12. That is a great little ship. I really enjoyed the first two pics with the vertical orientation and the background. Great tree walker too for Ma.
  13. I really like the alien guy but for me the best part of this is how the environment spills over the border. That just looks so cool.
  14. Some very creative ways to make the various gym equipment instantly recognizable. I like taking the mundane and giving it the sci-fi treatment, makes it more relatable.
  15. You continue to have the most innovative and creative builds and especially stories. I love how Dr. Long drops Hombre. Eshey as DJ is perfect and the letters are really well done. The whole party vibe is so well executed. Another incredible build.
  16. I like her chair. Clearly the execs are living right based on the luxuriant feel you have going on here!
  17. I love the power core, but yeah ... not sure you want romantic encounters in there. Now I'm suspecting Sal's beard hides some horrible disfigurement.
  18. Oooohhh budding love interest! I like the hallway, has a nice cramped military vessel feel to it. The only thing I think I'd change is the green/red on the floor feels too much. I think there is enough coloring along the wall. Purely personal preference though.
  19. I love "I've been here the whole time." Great backstory and some really clever parts usage. Bob's chair legs appear to be helmet visors? Also a really nice rasta poster. Love the dialogue and gives us some good insight into the Dr.
  20. Wow I love this! Great setup with the control area in an overwatch and the rail system for launching the ship. Another masterpiece.
  21. All my credits to Bob please!
  22. Very nice corporate feel to this. Hope your new title won't decrease Sal's fun experiments!
  23. This is like multiple top notch builds in one. Dialogue is fantastic as always, I was surprised at first when I saw Dr. Long in the ship since I knew about mega-maidDr. Long, but then it all made sense. 10/10 for me.
  24. Thanks for keeping us in the loop and congrats to Big Sal.
  25. Posted my build for this week. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=113111
