Thank you so much CopMike and EB. It always amazes me how well you manage to do this event. The starwars and dinosaurs have now been shared amongst the family.

This makes me smile when I look at it, I think its the blue window frames matching the yeti.

I really like the clean lines on this. It feels very true to Winter Village sets.

You see these as three-four storey structures in the center of a Christmas Market. I think I would like it better without its base for the purpose of fitting it into the village but I've wondered about making one of these in LEGO, and yours is spot on! Gorgeous. Those tilted rooves are perfect.

Its tall for a winter village set but I like the proportions of that tower to the two rooves. And its got some great details . Those beer mugs are eye attracting. Not sure about the white brick roof or the old grey columns to new grey round ones. But as a whole this MOC jumped out at me with how nicely it is put together.

Oh wow!!!! Over the moon and my kid soooo wanted BB-8, ecstatic, we had our fingers crossed all month for that or Dr Who. Thank you so much.

The whimsical shape of that roof which reminds me of candy and kids stories sets this apart. Poor Santa, no one sees his plight.

Maybe not my ideal, but definitely all I have space for this year!

I have a number of chima and ninjago figures that have cracked, and a few super hero :( The chima/ninjago may be because they held a long staff/weapon in both hands. I shall have to consider that in future. None of these have had the arms removed. But I also have a problem with cracking cheese slopes and 1x1 plates when a build is left constructed. I live in a really dry environment.

This is stunning. Now if I only had some millions lying around in a shoe box, I'd ask you to design my home.

Soccerkid, what is that dark shiny gunmetal looking something in the fourth pot from the left on the back row? Are they flat round 1x1 tiles in silver?
-
Congratulations, the feel of this build really matches the subject matter. Great Job.

Has anyone seen all those green pieces or the grey 1x1 with stud on the side, on any wall in the US?

When I went pick a brick shopping I saw multiple people taking photos of the building instructions and then filling a small pick a brick cup. One person would see another taking photos, make a comment of that's a good idea and do the same. Another person asked the LEGO employee who replied it was an honor system. I think they would alienate too many customers if they repeatedly commented you can't do that. If this idea is to promote what can be made with the pick a brick wall bricks then I have seen it successfully implemented differently at craft stores. Craft stores have pads of instruction papers that you can rip one off and take home with you and its up to you to buy the supplies for the project. I have often wondered why the brand stores do not sell a selection of impulse buy poly bags if they want something in the $5 simple sets range.

Great thank you! That makes sense now

That circular flowery type piece (44938) in dark orange only comes in the 2003 Millennium Falcon, in Bionicles its found in Flat Silver. Now I have one to ID, I am trying to find the part number and set that this shock absorber? comes in. The ©LEGO is printed in the yellow base but I can not find a number. It is a little under 12 studs long and though I can not see inside the yellow canister section it feels like it is air damped. Thank you.

Thank you CopMike, its a herculean task you take on every year. Now I'll be anxiously checking the mailbox each day! -

I am having the same/similar problem, I have ad blockers and I have run two different malware removers and they find nothing on my comp. I am getting it only when I visit the Town forum. I will make a note of it if it happens again.

Nice display piece Redhead. I like the detailing and the transparent shelters on the platforms.

Congrats both of you!
