  1. Makes me wonder if the cracking on sets sitting on a shelf for a duration could be caused by different colors of brick expanding differently.
  2. Very comical!! Poor sacrificed ribbed tubing but the shavings are a great addition.
  3. Unikitty is so fabulous she should have friends or siblings! I hope the Uni part of her name refers to her horn. It would be sad if she were the only one of her kind. I think this is her sibling dressed up for the holidays. Thank you. Can't have Unikitty without a rainbow! Her bed covers are also striped but can only be seen clearly in the extra photo on flickr. I didn't want to spoil the magic! I don't think about previous builds, I let each challenge brief inspire me. I've spent the last few months building alternate sets builds with limited pieces. So this is a result of being let loose! It only really has three colours, pinks, tan and white. So I wouldnt say it clashes, but it does stand out! Good job no one's built the North Pole a Civic Regulatons Office yet! Thank you! I don't have the Ice Cream Machine :( Mine came from Bionicle. Christmas trees, Unikitty style.
  4. I have some R2-D2 minifigures with the white head with silver. (http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=553px2) But there is a slight difference on the back side printing between them. There is a box on the back of his head with two dots above it. Some of them then have a dot inside the box, and others have an open circle inside the box. I can not find these two listed separately on bricklink. Do any of you know, were they from different episodes?
  5. The roof gives it that cozy, totally snowed in feel, even without the real snow!
  6. There are no composite shots, but I'll put a space between the two photos in the middle so they are not next to each other.
  7. Thank you very much! Picture should be fixed now.
  8. Winter Village: Uni-kitty is com-ing, to town! As I was starting this build Unikitty came along and screamed, "That's MY house!!!" From that point on I felt like a snowball rolling down a hill. So, she moved in, added a dance floor, decorated for the holidays (Unikitty style), then threw a 'Welcome to my New Home' party. She couldn't wait to try out ice skating. While others from the North Pole and Winter Village are visiting, poor Larry is working again this year, this time DJing. In the living room, Unikitty has hung up her stocking. While on the top floor, she put in a dance floor, complete with disco ball. Inside visitors enjoy the treats Unikitty has laid out, while warming themselves at the fire. Only kids and Unikitty see nothing strange about ice cream in winter. Unikitty's 'Welcome to my New House' party
  9. Very cute!
  10. I agree, that round window is nice.
  11. Congratulations! I really enjoyed looking at all the entries there were a lot of lovely builds.
  12. Very pretty! I love the use of the Rapunzel's stickered tower, it looks so natural here.
  13. I just gave Cloud Cuckooland to my son. The unikitty in it is really bothering me. On one side, the printed eyelashes and magenta, blushing cheek circle are touching the corner of the brick, whereas on the other side of the face there is a clear line of unprinted pale pink brick. Is this common (before I phone lego or ask my local store if they have one to swap)
  14. I agree, that roof is my favourite part.
  15. This is very festive. Are the names of the reindeer printed on decals or are they PS'ed?
  16. Are there decals for custom face expressions for unikitty anywhere? Thank you!
  17. I love the update! That horn is wonderful.
  18. Nice build, I like the coffee machine.
  19. I know this was from B&N or Target this winter. Does anyone have the B&N UPC code for it or the DPI for Target, without those I can't get a sales associate to figure out what I'm asking for. Thank you.
  20. What colour is the roof on the chicken coop and the 2x2 round tile on the barrel?
  21. This is really pretty. I love the angles and the position you photographed it from. I wonder how fragile that front post is when playing with but I think it looks beautiful.
  22. I really like the way this is modular. I was wondering why in the main picture the arch looked so fragile and there was no plate holding the two sides across the top. Now I see why! Nice play feature.
  23. I had to go to the entry thread and check the criteria for each category. Category A: #4 #3 Category B: #4 Category C: #4 #5
  24. Oh my!!! Oh my, Unikitties!!!!!! (In case I'm lucky enough to win something but someone wants to trade later) Now for the long wait. Nice front picture to the calender. Day 17 is funny.
