  1. Photography, composition: Excellent! I imagine this as a mosaic. If I should find something to improve perfection, it would have to be the backdrop. The lines in the sheets(?) would perhaps look more natural if they were more horisontal (looming sky). Great build
  2. This is awesome. Beware ...the guns of Eslandola!
  3. These are my preferred preferences, in order of preference: Island 8: Otoño Románova (Courtesy of Elostirion) Celadon Island 13: La Sombra Fontonajoland (Courtesy of Elostirion) Trader's Hold
  4. This captures the essence of a water powered sawmill perfectly. It looks almost exactly like an old sawmill from where I grew up. I agree it could have been even better with a little rubble or some more details on the green. Perhaps some branches and a handsaw lying around. But that is nitpicking for next level presentation. Total character: Both thumbs. One for mood, and one for historical/architectural accuracy.
  5. The last ship in Flotilla A was: Silver Schythe (Class 2F) Sir Stig.
  6. Nice birds. I like how you made them from different pieces. Rockwork is always hard and takes a lot of work and pieces to look realistic. Perhaps a few leafs or something on the green stems would have spiced it up, or a few different slopes.
  7. (The) Silver Scythe also went in double duty I think (the one for speed 3 ships)
  8. Only a small conflict of interest, if even that. Nothing to see here. Eslandola provides traders freedom to provide their citizens with the best goods DBs can buy. Freedom of religion. Freedom from monarchic and military oppression. Freedom from opportunistic raiders that don't respect the rules of a civilized society. Have no doubt about the unified Eslandola. It is strong, and will only become stronger. The basis of our great nation is respect for every man (woman included), support for every mans ideas that can progress trade relations, and the belief and support of basic minifig rights. Our King is not demented in any way, from what I have heard...
  9. Good to hear. I am currently seeking counseling. I hope it will help me to cope with it. As spokesperson of the mayor of Bardo, I now know which chicken that will be chosen first for our upcoming exotic food festival. I imagine it will taste best if cooked in it's own fat... Since I have only one ship it would overall be a loss (or saved ship) that I can live with. But considering the amount of people that are convinced they did submit an entry, and have the MRCA as their main strategy I don't find it unreasonable to allow this, in the name of fairness. But I am but a humble trader, trying to make ends meet (Hah, I am with the MCTC, they got my back!), so my say in this matter is only my opinion. For future reference, is it possible to implement a confirmation on the submitted entry? It would make it much easier to troubleshoot.
  10. I like the points on the roof top, and I realize I need to get me a green turban. Welcome :)
  11. I am waiting to see if I have a ship to send out on the next MRCA. I don't know if it is being looked into the missing forms or not. Uncertainty has the effect of making me duck for cover and stay real still. [whisper] ...don't breathe...
  12. This is what I did also. It seems like this is the common denominator for the missing ships. I hope the missing forms are not lost in the sea of storms...
  13. I can not find my ship either, so I hope that you presume precisely. I entered the MRCA with my Silver Scythe.
  14. Register it as a property. So it is basically artistic freedom on the concept/visual of your property. Cool idea.
  15. Since we are still lagging behind, I suggest skipping this months MRCA (and free build?). Just move the deadline to end of august for the current period.
  16. Nice lingo. Appropriate for the time. Great view into the inner circles musings. Fifty shades of bluish grey..
  17. Smooth lines with the railing and the bow. A majestic feel and she looks much bigger than she actually is. Great inspiration for my own 4A, and in my view an excellent example of the size for a class 4 ship in general. I must chime in and agree with the others about the checkerboard touch.
  18. The agreed payment have been sent, 173 dbs
  19. I bid: 200 DB for the 4A Cold Heart
  20. I agree, the windows are very nice. As is the gothic outside support coloumns (pillars, or whatever the right english word is). Perhaps the grey flat 2 wide underneath the roof could go the whole length.
  21. The Silver Scythe will do Double Duty this month.
  22. The sun was setting when Uncle finally arrived for the dinner party. The vast size of the plantation was a lot to digest, but his stomach had not gotten anything. Colonel Oystridge had made a stew he learned from some natives, and Uncle came in the knack of time to get them while they were still hot. Huge palms grew all along the shoreline, and here and there through the plantation, all the way up to the mountains. On this part of the plantation it seems they get in the way for the sun, since the cotton plants were still partly in bloom. Those pesky critters are attacking the crops again. Better sacrifice some of the harvest to save the rest.
  23. To the King's Port Advertiser Can we hope to get a new estimate of when the ink on the King's Port Advertiser will be dry enough to ship out to the gossip starving inhabitants of the Brethren Seas? The people are getting uneasy, since they have not heard from their relatives out on the seas for a while. Sincerely, Colonel Oystridge Major of Bardo on the island of An Toli, Proud member of the MCTC and the White Glove Order, and loyal citizen of Eslandola. OOC: Who will begin the chant? Ok, I'll do it: Skaday! Skaday! Skaday! An estimate would do.
