It's so good that I am nearly crying because of laughing so heavily. Thanks for sharing, it's professional.

Perfect in every brick! Congratulations!

Let's share our funny interesting photos!
plastic_ati replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I haven't seen this pose with head yet (I took the photo when the fig was new). You can guess what's the trick (in case somebody did that before, just enjoy watching and never mind ) (Hey, what's that?) Please note, that no Lego has been hurt for the next pic. (At least that stuff is good for something! Hula-hula-hey! - Maybe she's too hot for being Lego...) I found the possibility of stacking the flowers after soooo many years. Why so late? (3 is simply not enough!) -
I like the roof and the cows very much!

Wow, it instantly catches the eye! How wonderfully created for just a few pieces, and how big the effect of the wings on them... They are dangerously wonderful!
-
Really wonderful interior, and a nicely done exterior! Thanks for sharing, I like it very much!

That's a cute and cool addition for your Modular City! Congrats!
-
Sweet! Less and less empty spaces from time to time, and there are some inspiring moments on the setting.

Thanks for your positive feedback!

Thanks a lot eurotrash, I am really happy to hear that. I can say that I went crazy sometimes during the past days . Meanwhile I have learnt a lot of details about aerodynamics, and some very strange planes, so it was a nice "trip" for my brain.

Continuing the line of strange looking airplanes... This alternate from the set 60064 Arctic Supply Plane has been inspired by the asymmetrical reconnaissance aircraft from the german manufacturer Blohm und Voss. Now this is what "eurotrash" mentioned in my earlier post. Blohm&Voss BV 141 (60064 alternate) by Plastic.Ati, on Flickr This time it was very hard to regenerate the shape, as the cockpit panels were way too big, and there were not enough rounded or slope bricks. Starting from this point I tried to find the right measures for the wings (which were bent up at the ends, making some headache for me). I used THIS drawing for verifying the proportions, but I had to change several points because of the part availability. Blohm&Voss BV 141 (60064 alternate) by Plastic.Ati, on Flickr I ended up with a minifig-compatible, very swooshable model, which was not a copy of the original, but easily recognisable due to its distinct shape. Blohm&Voss BV 141 (60064 alternate) by Plastic.Ati, on Flickr Blohm&Voss BV 141 (60064 alternate) by Plastic.Ati, on Flickr After finishing the body it took me a while to find a solution for the foldable wheels on the wings, and I can say that it can hold the whole weight of the plane, but you should not push it too hard as it is the week point. During flight they can be folded up to the wings. Blohm&Voss BV 141 (60064 alternate) by Plastic.Ati, on Flickr Blohm&Voss BV 141 (60064 alternate) by Plastic.Ati, on Flickr Now I am working on the instructions so once it is ready, I will put the link here. Until that Finally the instructions are ready, and can be found on my Rebrickable page along with some other pics. C&C are welcome. Below you can check my other alternates for this set:

Hats off, this is truly amazing. You were able to catch the atmosphere very well. deeply agree -
I MUST refresh the Aliens gallery :) This is supercool.

That's a cutie . My favourite part is the Rainbow Bridge / Bifröst
-
Nice modifications, thanks for sharing. I may borrow some tune-ups from your version.
-
Hey, it's as nice as the original! Brilliant work.
-
Oh, no! You've found out what is my next model. I begun to make it 2 days ago, but it takes a while to finish (and it will differ from the original quite a bit, because of the limited group of bricks) Talking about the plans I want to make a simple and an odd looking helicopter from the same set, and maybe some more tricky vehicles. Yes, it's swooshable. The weekest point is the middle propeller, so you shouldn't put the plane on a table upside-down
-
Instructions can be downloaded from HERE. (People might have other tasks now at Rebrickable, so the approval delays, and I decided to put the link here)
-
Thanks for your kind words! Unfortunately the approval delayed one day, so the instructions will be available from tomorrow only (hopefully :) ) Oh, I forgot to say that this one is also swooshable, and just the middle propeller needs a bit more attention.

[MOC] Fokker F.25 Promotor - 60064 alternate
plastic_ati replied to plastic_ati's topic in LEGO Town
You're welcome! I try to put all my MOC instructions on that page. Simpler is better? I think this one is more City-like, so no wonder if it is the reason. -
I am not a master of trucks, nor the RC thingies, but you surely are! Congratulations! My favourite parts are the steering, the "turntable" and even the dangerous material signs.

I look forward of getting the summer wave. The "Grand Hotel" sounds promising. I hope it will be really "Grand". After all these successful years of the minidolls, an Expert/UCS version of something from Heartlake City would be a nice idea. (I guess I will get that whenever I find a working wishing well )
-
Space, diving boat, Yeah! Maybe I will have some more City sets this year too.

That's very nice, it has an old school feeling, even when it uses more modern elements/colors for details. "Everything is Awesome"
