  1. Does that mean I have to get a hamster to put in the hamster storage space? -- or -- Maybe LEGO should include a LEGO hamster ;) ;) Andy D
  2. Thanks, Great review! This set looks so much better than the 42069 and better price. I will get this set! Ever once I first saw the 42068, 42069 and 42070 I liked this set better. Your reviews just confirmed my feelings on the sets. The doors are amazing and the suspension is very interesting. I will be using tires instead if tracks. Looking forward to the B- model review. Andy D
  3. Great review! Thanks. The gearbox looks interesting, too bad this is an RC model. I prefer more gear functions, RC kind of eliminates that. BTW: Where is the hamster "leader" going to build his wall? Andy D
  4. Big is not always better! That's what's wrong with the WV Cottage and the WV Market Carousel, too big and do not work well with the original models... like the Toy Shop, Bakery and Post Office. Just MHO, YMMV Andy D
  5. I really like this GBC module! I have been looking for a good, small module to build. I really like the fact that it uses more Studless parts than studded ones. I have lots of Studless parts, but very few studded Technic parts. I would like to build a GBC from my PoH (Parts on Hand) without buying many preferably no parts. Thanks for making instructions available. Andy D
  6. @mouseketeer I really like this! I received your email this AM and have a few questions. 1. Do you use any rare or hard to find parts? 2. Can the canale and boat be easily setarated from the xml? The water features don't really fit with my village. 3. Do you have a photo of it next to the Bakery or Toy Shop? The WV Cottage is my least favorite WV model, in fact because of it's size I do not use it anymore. I really, really like the Pub, good job! Andy D
  7. Wow! Beautiful, details amazing, looks like one could just walk into the scene. Andy D
  8. As to replacing with exact parts... For me, it all depends on the cost of the part. I am not interested in collectible or resale value. I like my sets for what they are. Just MHO, YMMV, Andy D
  9. Have you seen this thread? It has been updated for a number of years and has lots of good stuff. It is well worth a read. Andy D
  10. Looks like you ar making good progress. Always interesting. Andy D
  11. @Theo van VroenhovenJust wow! I thought I had expensive hobbies. Your room. Is great, I hope you get lots of building done. @RudivdkThat is some organizational system you have there. Andy D
  12. Your steering solution is really clever! If it were 4-wheel steering I can see how you could have a mode change for several steering solutions. Andy D
  13. I agree, this thread deserves to be bumped, because it is a great model! I just noticed, the gearshift is a sausage, and the door handles are pistols and the exhaust is flick-fire missiles. Very creative use of parts. I realize the original poster has not been here for some time, but this model is still very clever! Andy D
  14. This is really quite nice! I would like it better if it were smaller, but for the level of detail the size is needed. Andy D
  15. Welcome back Clive (@grum64 ) this is quite an ambitious project! My BWE is still in the box (after 6 months or so). I am looking forward to your progress. Maybe it will inspire me to start mine... Though I have other projects so I may not be be able to start until after the first of next year. In the meantime I will live vicariously through your assembly process. Thank you or sharing your builds with us! I for one have missed them. Andy D
  16. Congratulations, you deserve it! Gets moto! Andy D
  17. Very nice micro build! Well designed and implemented. Keep em coming. Andy D
  18. Though I do think hamsters would also go good here as well. ;);) Andy D
  19. Very fascinating and interesting to watch. Great implementation in LEGO! i think mesmerizing was the word I was hunting for! Andy D
  20. That is really quite a nice GBC! Very clever design, enjoyable to watch. Thanks for sharing this. Andy D
  21. Oh yeah, l've made up my mind... I like the red tow truck best! And the yellow is a good color for "broke-down". Just MHO, YMMV Andy D
  22. Wow! This is really nice! I really like your fun micro builds. Why are you surprised that others will build this? It looks very fun. Andy D
  23. Not normally a fan of Nnjago, but this set does look interesting. Just when I thought I was going to get off easy this year. I'll have to see it, but at first glance it looks good for a Modular Building collector, so it is a big maybe. Andy D
