Great MOC! I loved watching Speed Buggy during my childhood. Lots of good times with Scooby Doo & company. Thanks for sharing!

Great build! I just finished building my Lonely Mountain set that I received for Christmas. I really enjoyed all of the interior details and how you integrated the official set into your MOC! I'm looking forward to see what else you are going to add on.

Great Treebeard Bugbot! I might now have to try and modify my ent to look more like your creation. Thanks for sharing. Are you putting it on Ideas? -

LEGO LotR - general discussion
TheGreyPilgrim replied to General Magma's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Yeah. I keep checking daily for the latest numbers. I am looking forward to when it finally reaches 10,000. It's my only hope that Lego realizes that there is life left in this theme. Like others have said, I do not think it will be produced as an Ideas set, but maybe as a D2C set like the Sandcrawler, Tumbler, etc. -
LEGO LotR - general discussion

I totally agree with you atreyu2112. It's great to see the Minas Tirith set on Ideas gaining so much momentum, (currently two away from 8600 - Awesome!), but the "missing set" that I want to see made is the Balrog. And I understand the feelings about getting another Gandalf the Grey, but ever since this theme launched, I've been waiting for my own Lego Balrog. I really like the one from the game and fully expected an ABS one to follow. IMO, the most famous line from the entire trilogy is from the Bridge of Khazad dum. We all know the one! I'm still stubbornly holding out hope that we will get a few more sets. (believe me, I know it's very unlikely), but I too would like to see Gondor represented. We need Faramir, Eowyn, armored Witch King, Fell Beast and a proper Treebeard. -
Beautiful build! I am in awe. Love all the little details. (Especially the gold and silver deposits).

That is one cool build! Great job! I would definitely buy it....maybe two. I hope LEGO still produces a third wave. (even if it's only a fool's hope.) -
Very nice effect with the branches. I also like your Tom Bombadil using Radagast's beard/hat piece. Great job!

REVIEW: The Battle of the Five Armies
TheGreyPilgrim replied to ZCerberus's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Thank you for the thorough review. I agree with you, the value here us in the minifigures. I will be purchasing the entire third wave, but I do not think this will stay built for very long. Just have to wait for the double VIP points in October. It's going to be an expensive month! -
Wow! What an amazing MOC! I love all of the little details. Great job!
