You know Jared, your right. My first act as director. All future movies will be made with all Lego actors. My second act, all tickets will be paid for with Lego sets.
-
Ha, ha, like a 3d version of the 8 bit game. Fantastic.
-
Thanks. I think I'll check the set out.
-
Very nice. Looks like a real set :)
-
Yay! A theme mash up! Wonder if there's a TV show in the works?
-
Darn it, guess JW sets aren't gonna be reduced for a long time :(
-
Thanks. I don't know what the micro-fig is from. I got it off Bricklink or brick owl. I'd like to know though if anyone does know.
-
thx Ha, well spotted :D I like the Man of Steel version but the classic fig works much better visually. There's a reason why it's a great costume design. I was tempted to put in a massive THOOOOOOM! Sound effect. But I don't like adding too much to a photo.

Hi all, Here's my latest moc inspired by the big screen fights between Superman and Zod. I wanted it to have a comic panel look so I added a border. Hope you like it ;)

LEGO Dimensions Physical Brick Discussion
PaddyBricksplitter replied to Transparency for Effect's topic in LEGO Licensed
Hmm...Slimer and Stay Puff you say? They can sell these things to AFOLs who won't even play the game. Smart. Quite a super expensive way to get those figs. I'll be doing it too mind you :P- 527 replies

I got the Scooby Doo haunted lighthouse. I'll probably get the Biplane and the Mystery Machine. New mixels on the list too. All great parts in interesting colours :)

I really liked the Ghostbusters and Back to the Future sets. I was disappointed that the T-Rex and Light sabres didn't get through. I think they would have made interesting builds. I thought the Big Bang set is kind of boring but makes commercial sense. Just like Wallee or whatever he's called. What do you guys think about the science based sets? I know it's about "Good play or play well" but come on. "Hey kids you know what's cool? Bird watching and physics!"

[MOC] - Tente reinterpreted as Neo-Classic Space
PaddyBricksplitter replied to kritch's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Those are some nice builds. I like them. I don't think Tente ever made it as far as Ireland. -
Amazing new building techniques here. Just brilliant. You can get bubble type helmets for the mini figs you know. Like the ones they wear in the books. The squirrel in the Sponge Bob sets wears one.

Great model. Best drop ship out there. I thought the tail wings and the missile pod arms looked like problem areas. My first thought re. support it's got to be technic axels or arms. That's the best way to have structural strength. Forget just basing it on regular brick clutch. I see the diagonal section. The pressure points I assume are hinge then diagonal arm. I would prototype a technic based solution for the underlying structure focusing on the hinge section and diagonal support. Then adjust it for aesthetics. Easier said than done granted but I'm sure it's possible.

XD Cheers buddy. Thanks man. I love Mad Max too. Those mini dolls can always be repurposed for the post apocalyptic wastelands.
-
Hey thanks, it's based off the cars from Mad Max:Fury Road which use a lot of classic car and truck chassis.
-
Very nice build, like the details.

As life like as Lego can get. Such talent!

Hi all, I think the series looks great. I could do with one of each fig. With such unusual parts they are perfect for mocs. Even the accessories are interesting, a bunch of those black whips would work well for power cables on a mech for instance. The cat is a good animal to have for set dressing. The spectre's cloth piece for torn clothes or flags or whatever. Lots of potential even beyond just using them as monsters. Looking forward to release.

[MOC] Reconnaissance ship X11 "Fantasma"
PaddyBricksplitter replied to FonsoSac's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Wow, you actually changed it! I think it's looking good. As a shape the middle image is the most interesting whilst echoing traditional winged aircraft it looks futuristic. Nice one. -
Microscale goodness. Nice parts useage for the hands.
-
I always like to see a character and their mech suit. Well done.

Nice design. Well done. It would be cool if those wings could move too. -
