Yes, this, 1000 times this. My wife was in the room when I saw the reveal of FDY as town and wondered what was going on at my howls of shock. Then it turned out we were right and I yelped again. You got me good for a few seconds there.

Woo, get one in the W column! Thanks for a fun game Trumpet! I was glad to get investigated and cleared early on and get pulled into the inner circle.... my PM box needs a good cleaning out now :) But it was fun - since we got a couple scum early, we were being pretty aggressive in going after anyone with any actions we could, even lynching. So had it not ended, Psykater was getting vig killed last night as the next most likely scum :) The thing I'm most curious about - what was up with FDY claiming to be the alien avenger? That was really the reason we got him when we did. For the record, my quirk was hypochondria (including made up diseases). Tried to work them in the first couple days and then forgot at the end. Sorry!

And likewise, if you are scum, well, it's easy to claim vanilla town and justify anything you've said so far. At this stage you know you can't fake claim a PR since we'd know better, so a vanilla town claim and going through posts like you did is the best defense you can make, so you really can't prove yourself other than through the lynch (or investigations, but there's more players than abilities, so like I said, we've gotta use the lynch as a test too)

I'll certainly grant that you're in a tough place - a vanilla town is a hard role to defend when you're getting vague accusations. I appreciate your solid defense attempt and if you're telling the truth, well, we'll make sure to win in your memory. But as for me, as you stated: "As I don't have a PR and there's still plenty of townies left, lynching me won't be the end of the world. Given there's likely only one scum left, possibly two, it's likely that we'll win anyway." That's pretty much my logic - there's a short list of people that are heavily possible scum and we're trying to get through them. We can do night actions, but using the lynch to test another character speeds things along.

For now, I'll say Vote: Balthasar Jameson (Kristel) because he's said basically nothing today, and not much significant in prior days. Others are also in that boat, like Eric (though he claims elsewhere to have reason for his absence) and Rosie like Bathalsar mentioned, but we'll start with him and then pursue others as time allows. And I'm also using gut feeling here... can't put my finger on it, but Rosie gives me a town vibe, and Balthasar and Eric don't.

I'm with fatman, thinking rocky is likely (not confirmed or sure, just a leaning) town for the same logic. Not sure who I AM suspicious of at the moment... so I'm gonna just go ROCK for a while and see if I can find any scummos falling over from the power of my BEAT!

Before I forget, let me introduce myself... I am Beat-Woman! You'll note that I'm actually already in my super outfit, with an awesome lightning bolt across my chest. I rock on the drums and BAM beat down the baddies... Boom! Crash! Bam! Take that! (and yeah, I know, the name sucks. But my power to ROCK just rocks! Ha! )

So, looks like Abraham tried to hide his identity but lied badly? Seems very strange... But still glad to hear another scum down, especially since we lost another two town. I was surprised to see Juliet turn up town. Just had a scummy vibe off here.

True, but giving the whole list would reveal WHAT town PRs there are - letting the scum know what our abilities are and what our abilities are not. Having seen the list, there's just too much info in there. (for the record, everyone - Benvolio version 2.0 suggested to me asking for the info. It was decided by the town block that I should do the asking/gathering since I was confirmed town and he's not)

Well, I can say that ALL the rest of the CMFs revealed are completely innocent characters. (actually, there's one that would have made me think SK even more than the alien, but I'm not saying anything more yet - and it's only making me think SK because I'm actively LOOKING for meaning behind the characters). But based on the list, everyone else gave non-threatening figures. I'm thinking Abraham didn't realize that the figs might have any meaning....

Well, I've now gotten answers from everyone as to their CMF character. One instantly jumped out to me - Abraham (FDY) said his is the Alien Avenger. From my perspective, this seems to fit in better with Cyclops and Medusa than with Cheerleaders and Trendsetters (though if I didn't know better, I'd have put the trendsetter on the scum side, what with that little dog and crap, but whatever). So I'm thinking that Abraham messed up twice now - the quote Danyelle just cited defending Carlisa, and then in revealing his CMF. Given all that, I'm voting for him. Yes, I sent PMs to everyone still alive asking for their CMF spirit. I'm trying to see if there's any correlation between those figs and anything else. It was brought to my attention that asking it was a possible rule 5 violation (don't use structure of role PM), but I checked with Mercutio and verified that since I'm just asking for a fact, not asking people to quote their PMs or anything, it's fine. At this point I have everyone's answer but 1. Once I get that last reply, I'll share some of what I've learned...

Well, despite what I said earlier about Benvolio, I'm 99% town read on him now. Looks like some RL issues are why he's been so inactive, and scum would have handled those situations differently.

I've been leaning scummy on Benvolio for quite a while - even voted him day 1 if I remember right. And for exactly the reason that Margaret so well posted, he's done nothing to help the town and has barely even been here. I'd vote Ben again without any hesitation. As for the rest, there's a couple other pretty quiet people I'm suspicious of - Danyelle, Abraham... haven't seen too much from them.

Well, good to know Alicia was telling the truth about her source of info and we voted correctly! Sad though that she's gone, so that source now has to find a new person to trust. Hope they got another investigation result last night - either is good really, since a town result would be a trustworthy person to be the new mouthpiece (and likely overnight scum kill, but hey, what'cha gonna do...) and a scum result would be another easy lynch!

Yes, why yes I did. Got a problem with it? Got so many issues here I can't begin to keep track of them all. This. Paris' actions today seem fairly scummy - fight HARD and then give up. Yes, she gave a couple names of people she's suspicious of, but nothing really helpful. So I suspect we might actually be right here :) Honestly, the fact that Paris contacted me so early I found really suspicious. Who can trust anyone that early? (for the same reason, I'm still shocked that we have any investigation results already). And really, asking me if I'm town? What good does that do? I'm going to say yes no matter what. So I'm wondering if it wasn't Paris trying to get on my good side early on to lead to manipulation later... But anyway, today's as good as done. If Paris turns scum overnight, then we've got a good investigator and can look into others tomorrow. If she turns out to be telling the truth and is town, then we'll get the name of the source and have an easy lynch target tomorrow.

For the record... on day 1 Paris there contacted me with this: I said yes, I'm 100% town, but admitted that my answer would be the same whether I was town or scum, (so what's the point of asking?) I also then said my opinion of her was entertaining, but no read on loyalties yet. Paris then responded with And that was the end of that. I was honestly pretty surprised to be getting contacted so early on... other places I've been I haven't gotten in touch with anyone till much later. And considering out west I got taken by some smooth talkin', I wasn't about to just do anything quick here. Got a bad case of Pistanthrophobia So there's the facts... some thoughts to come shortly.

I'm pretty sure Paris is scum too, but I still can't wrap my head around a cop claiming to anyone this early - and supposedly to more than one person! Before I forget...
