  1. They're on reddit
  2. I was initially disappointed by the news of a microscale Hogwarts, but now I'm starting to see the various amazing possibilities of how it could be done. Judging by the 7kg weight on Amazon, it's definitely a sizeable set. And from the nanofigs, it appears we can reenact scenes from the books and movies, presumably the Battle of Hogwarts, which would imply some (possibly minimal) interior like the MF, and castle grounds which could possibly include a bit of the Forbidden Forest. If they really did it properly, this could look absolutely amazing. While I'm withholding final judgment till I see the set image, I'm very likely buying it regardless, having completely missed out on the original HP wave during my dark ages and kicking myself for it. As for a full minifig-scale castle, I'll just buy the various sets released and put them together over the years, which will actually be a fun project.
  3. When is the hospital coming out, by the way? I want to get it for my sister as a birthday present (a slightly overdue one, since her birthday was earlier this month)
  4. On the bright side, 3 people can now share a box and each one will get a complete set.
  5. It's AUD400 https://shop.lego.com/en-AU/Assembly-Square-10255
  6. It's NZD450 according to Shop@Home. I checked this morning.
  7. One can be a fan of LEGO and still occasionally buy Lepin. The two are not mutually exclusive. Some of us have one or two bootleg sets and about a hundred or so LEGO sets. What's your point? My sentiments exactly.
  8. How is that the American way? I see both, and just select the more logical one based on surrounding information i.e. price and currency.
  9. The Fishing Store is really a standalone building, much like the Haunted House, the Simpsons House, or the Kwik-E-Mart. Definitely getting it though; would look great next to the river in my city.
  10. Someone over at Brickset found this: https://www.google.co.jp/search?q=lego+starbucks+moc&client=ms-android-samsung&prmd=ivmn&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwi-xZ7o28XPAhUX3YMKHfZhDIwQ_AUIBygB&biw=360&bih=559#imgrc=60xsYd5sXA4ETM%3A
  11. Is it the arrogance of Americans or something that makes so many American people read a certain date only one way ie. month/day/year? The rest of the world has it as day/month/year. And the currency in that picture isn't even American dollars, so why would you assume the way the date is written is the American way? It would make more sense for a modular to be released on the 4th of January rather than the 1st of April anyway.
  12. Googling Assembly Square, I found out that it's a real place in Massachusetts. Not sure what the LEGO set would look like if it was truly based on that. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assembly_Square_Marketplace
  13. In asia and NZ it has always been day/month/year. I think the alternative might just be an American thing
  14. Perhaps it's a re-release of all 11 modulars, plus a 12th? Then they can literally be 'assembled' into a 'square', hence, assembly square.
  15. I'm hoping it's a large square with lots of trees, little stalls, people walking around, a magnificent fountain in the middle etc. But then it technically won't be a modular building anymore. Assembly Square does seem to imply a large open space with perhaps a raised stage in the middle for concerts, speeches or such.
  16. It's a pity as I'm currently working in Malaysia. If I was in NZ now I probably wouldn't be having as much trouble getting a few more penguins
  17. Still on the hunt for more penguins; I have one Penguin Suit Boy and three Wildlife Photographers so far, but I'd like another couple of the former to make a penguin family, and another of the latter to make the legendary penguin loop.
  18. Saw pictures, and somehow it reminded me of Market Street. Not sure if I'll be getting the new sets after all; perhaps I should keep my display small.
  19. But where exactly on reddit? I've been searching 'frozen castle' and 'lego leaks' and 'frozen lego' but nothing yields any results. I'm not too familiar with reddit so not sure if there is a way of navigating it to find the exact content I want.
  20. Can't believe I just got given this, MISB. Will look forward to building it soon :-)
  21. Where are these pictures? I can't seem to find them on reddit. Could someone send me a link please? @Robert8 @Krulis @BrickHat @strangely
  22. OMG the exact same thing happened to me! I started with the Parisian Restaurant and before long, I had all but the first 3 modulars. It's scary.
  23. Wonder if the Frozen set is based on the movie or the short? Tempted to get it though
  24. Argh more Frozen sets? I currently have Elsa's Ice Castle, Olaf's Summertime Fun and that sled set with Kristoff. Figured it would be enough to set up a proper diorama based on the original film, but now they have to release more? I haven't bought the big castle from Frozen Fever because it's not part of the original movie, but a part of me is tempted to get all of them just to set them up for display.
  25. A local store parted out the set and sold the individual 'scenes' separately, so I got another goalpost and the two kids playing there to make it a proper field. Not really tempted for multiples of the rest though.
