Probably wait till after the 15th, since if you call now they won't have it anyway. I'm assuming if a ball joint is used for the neck instead of hinges then it's the right one?
-
Mine isn't, so thank God. Earlier I thought it would so I'd already sent an email to Customer Service, but they replied saying that they'd run out of the parts for the fix and that they'd only be available on the 15th of January.

Any sign of the new minifigures?
-
So how do we tell if a copy of Wall-E is the old or fixed one? I bought one last week and just opened it up yesterday, and there wasn't a supplementary booklet with the fix included, but then they might've just printed new booklets anyway. Anyone knows?

Toyworld just posted on Facebook that they had them this morning too -
I'm really hoping that'll be a decent roller coaster, but then again it's not part of the Creator Expert theme.

Looks pretty good in the city layout, especially next to older modulars. Might be a little odd with the newer ones though -

These popped up in Singapore today too -
Was saving money for it because of said polybag but I guess I can relax now

I see lots of Harry Potter references. And parts from Medieval Market Village :D

I've never needed a designer video to decide. For me all that matters is that it's a modular, and a building with a proper back.

I really just want the eggs. Although they're probably a little large for the Lego hens

I have my Ferris Wheel to keep me company for the first couple of days of the New Year. Will probably wait for double points to get the Brick Bank, unless there's a particularly tempting polybag. Or Wall-E shows signs of selling out. The pain of being in NZ is that the free shipping threshold is $400, so I really have to buy multiple things to reach it.

Yeah, me too. Can't be bothered MOC-ing. At the most I'd sketch a plan

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 15 Rumors and Discussion

I think Lego has finally figured out that if it wants to sell more minifigures, it should make more of the popular ones than the unpopular ones, because the latter tends to end up sitting in toystores forever seeing as they are 5 to a box. -

So apparently I will go broke buying minifigures next year. Aiming for: 2 Shark Guys (I try to get 2 of each animal suit figures) 3 Farmers (want pigs for my Medieval Market Village) 1 Animal Control Officer (for the skunk) 1 Queen (just so my King has a Queen) 3 Satyrs (2 for parts and 1 extra to keep whole) 2 Tribal Woman (I want those babies!) 1 Winged Warrior (great statue for my city) -
I treat the mindolls as the supermodels/singers/actresses of the Lego world, which sort of explains why they're taller and thinner than standard Lego minifigs. Works for me :-)

There's a rumored village set? Which theme is it supposed to be part of? -

Those two are my least favorite of the animal suits, and I got them last of all at slightly above RRP last year. Kinda glad I have the full collection though; my completionist nature thanks me greatly -

Oh wow the back actually looks pretty bad IMHO. Those large tan panels argh. Couldn't they have added another layer outside, or used normal bricks? -

You can't if the Ecto-1 is inside, because the doors open inwards and the Ecto-1 barely fits as it is -

I personally like buildings, but for some reason those 3 all look and feel slightly inferior to the modular buildings. I'm not entirely sure why. Could be the stickers, or the design, or the colour scheme. It's not the opening mechanism though, because I love the Haunted House. Perhaps there is a building style present in modulars that is just lacking when it came to the Simpsons and Ghostbusters. This used to be a definite buy for me, but after seeing the interior I am rethinking my decision.
