I think if you buy and sell in bulk then there's a possibility you can make a profit. Also they tend to be resold at about twice RRP. Which works because popular minifigs are never available in stores for more than a few hours here. Every time a store gets a new batch, it gets wiped out of all popular minifigs almost immediately. Because they're so easy to feel for, it doesn't take most people long to work their way through the box and buy up every single one. In a sense it's as if they were never available in Malaysia at all, which creates extremely uneven demand-supply dynamics, causing prices to skyrocket, which is exactly what the scalpers want. I must've visited various toy stores almost 20 times now since the series have been out, and I have never felt a Queen or a Shark Guy before.

Mine is tomorrow. I doubt I'll get any Lego because they're too expensive for family and friends, so I've asked for money instead so I can just pool everything and buy a set myself. Maybe I'll save up for the S16 minifigs

I bought it recently because I loved how it looked on the box, but after building it the whole thing seems a little meh. Maybe because I don't have anything to go with it. The modulars are fun because I can put them together and make a whole city scene, but with this I'm displaying it by itself and it just looks a little small.

That happens in Malaysia every single time any store opens a new case. Also, it's not just the Shark Guy, but the Queen, Farmer, Tribal Woman, and Animal Control Officer all disappear too. I always wonder how people manage to get there as soon as a box is opened. Or do they hang around outside stores waiting for it to happen?

What was your error? My Ferris Wheel leans very slightly to one side, so occasionally the gondolas will catch against the side of the platform, Still not sure how to solve my problem. I tried gently pushing the structure in the opposite direction, but it just went back to its normal lean after a while.

I now want to recreate Sara Bareilles' latest musical 'Waitress' in Lego, thanks to that guitar piece

I kinda wish Penguin Guy had a new mold, instead of a combination of Shark Suit Guy's torso and Chicken Suit Guy's Mask. But I'll get it all the same, along with Banana Suit Guy, Babysitter and Imp

I'm actually glad. It means I can save money by not buying any of this series and have more for the next. Can't wait to build my Penguin Guy army
