The odds are better than Lord of the Rings wave three... That's not saying much. I'd like a large brick built D2C Smaug, that'd be the perfect way to finish this off. But the chances that the actual Smaug will land in my yard are better..

I don't either. I was just wondering. That'd be a fun figure. I personally expect the director to be. And someone mention the girl in red, you mean the one with the cup? That's an existing min figure. The one measuring the guys waist looks new, but I don't know if she'll be in the series. I don't really know what she could be...

I had a thought... Let's say we do get a Doctor Who theme... Based on LEGO's previous license patterns... What do you suppose the chances are that almost every set will feature the 10th Doctor? I figure it'll be half 12, half 10... If one is pessimistic, one cannot be disappointed. Well, I am as pessimistic as it gets in this case.., I really hope I'm wrong.

Actually, CitizenBrick won't print anything from outside IP, so they won't do TinTin. I'd try Steindrucker. They seem to have the best prices. You MIGHT (but probably won't) be able to get some help from BrickPrinter, but he doesn't do heads or anything anymore, and his prices are a bit much...

I really like Mr. White. Those decals look great! And I really like the idea to use the Ring for a web shooter. I honestly think that's work better than a decal, if you painted it...

That's a pretty safe bet. That's exactly what I expect if anything does come. As for customs, GreenPeaToys already makes a Witch King with a helmet, and Gondor soldiers (but they have generic helmets). I really do wish LEGO had made the Eowyn from the game. I really love that design. Shame it won't ever be made in plastic...

A Nintendo line would be great. Shame K'nex has the license. Well, at least for Mario Kart... Products would be too similar... Legal mess... Oh well. Maybe some day.. Otherwise... Hmm... I'll have to think. The Muppets is a great idea.

Of course! How could we have missed something so obvious? Would Doctor Who sell well? I don't know. From the looks of it, Character Building didn't (but of course we don't know for sure. And if we did, there may have been other factors going into that). It's not really something I can see doing well. I predict another "Lord of the Rings"... But who knows? It's been on for fifty years (though it went off the air for a bit). Someone must be watching it. But are there enough someones? I'd say no. Maybe if another movie came out (but even then, I predict a second Middle Earth)

That's news to me... Sounds really cool though, so I hope it's true. Hard to say whether it would include the old films or not... On one hand, the sets don't sound like they will, but on the other hand, that doesn't mean the game won't. I mean the game has fewer restrictions on what it can include (if past games are any indicator). The only possible obstacle would be licensing, I think... I don't know. Not a ton to go off of at this point.

It looks different to me? -comic-book-guy- And, did they seriously give him DARK GREEN gauntlets, when they are clearly sand green in the Empire Strikes Back? Ugh! Worst. Color choice. I've always had pets. My whole life. Currently have three dogs and two cats. For dogs, we have a Schnoodle, a Schkipperke/Border Collie mix, and an American Labradoodle. Our cats are... Well, one has black fur, the other has gray and white fur... I used to have a Border Collie/Labrador mix (what do you call that? A BORADOR), but she died a few years ago. Also had two other cats (Siamese/Himalayan and black and white) that so died... And when I was little, I had fish and hermit crabs. Never any birds, though.

Character Building actually lost the license. So if another building toy brand wanted to pick it up, they should have little to no problem doing so. Honestly, the more I think about it, the less I think it'll happen. Doctor Who is a gigantic franchise. But not one that is terribly well known. It's beloved by fans, but no one else has even heard of it. I just think that if LEGO did do a Doctor Who line, it'd be a repeat of Lord of the Rings. I think we all know what happened THERE (and if you don't, check out that 100+ page thread of "no! It can't be over! Here's what I want: -insert same list over and over again here-" and then the "yeah, it's done." It's depressing, it really is). In fact, it might be even WORSE since Doctor Who is much less well known, and has much more to cover. I can think of ways that LEGO could satisfy everyone, but business issues may get in the way. The only hope we have for the new theme being DW is the whole Top Gear thing... But I wonder why LEGO directly told people they could put DW on Ideas if they were going after the license. That would pretty much kill any potential projects, of so I would think... It may be too early for Jurassic World, but they aren't showing any sets, they're just announcing the new theme. So there shouldn't be any spoilers there. I've got hope for an Ideas set. I'm pretty sure that'll happen, but I doubt we'd get a full theme...

I just can't see it. If Character Building, which is part of the company that does a lot of other Doctor Who toys, lost the license... I have to wonder why. Why would the BBC drop them if they have a relationship in other fields? Two things come to mind... 1. Poor Sales 2. They couldn't get a deal with LEGO before, so they settled for CB, but now they can get LEGO. I seriously doubt this one, though. But I hope I'm wrong. This would be an awesome theme! Frankly though, it probably is Jurassic World. Didn't someone recently see next years retailer catalog and tell us it's contents? If Doctor Who was coming, wouldn't he have seen it?

Favorite is Return of the Jedi... Least favorite? Clone Wars: The Movie. If that doesn't count, then... I don't know...

I really do hope we get sets from the older films. If not, I hope at least the Dinosaurs are similar enough to be used in older settings... Am I the only one who hopes that they go back to the old dinosaur body from that old Dino line from like 10 years ago? You know, like the Spinosaurus from the last line of JP3 sets? I really love those, not just for nostalgia, but because they're so cool. For me, they are to a dinosaur what a mini figure is to a human.
