D'oh! I still think though, that we'll get this sooner, rather than later, and then get everything that comes after it as a DLC. Just a guess, but that seems like the best way to get the most cash out of this, at least it does to me, anyways. Seems to be what they're doing with The Hobbit, too.
-
Probably. If they do release it after Season 1 and it only covers that and the movie, I'll bet you they'll put out the rest as DLC's as they are released. They may wait, but I don't think they will.

New LEGO Fantasy Theme -- A MOC Series
Borador replied to Nuju Metru's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Wow! Those would be some fantastic sets! Great work! -
Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion
Borador replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
As awesome (and discussion worthy) as that poster is, I can't see it having any bearing on what we get in actual sets. I mean, look at that Sentinel. Doesn't look anything like the one in the X-Jet... And are those Eclipse-Grafx Cyclops and Rogue? But MAN! That is NICE! Despite what I said, I hope we get some of these new figures. They rock! -
Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion

Were they physical or renders? Was Phoneix there? Was it the con exclusive? Can we get a picture? This sounds interesting. I wonder what it has to do with future sets. Could be nothing. Or maybe everything... EDIT: 100 posts -
You never fail to impress, autorazr. Great job on of those, especially Clark and Lois. EDIT: Hey, has anyone tried using these legs on the new Captain America? Captain America Legs? by Borador1, on Flickr

Recent creations: Green Goblin, Carl Sagan, and more!
Borador replied to LibraryBoy's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Great job on the Green Goblin! That Finn is very impressive too. Tell your son to keep working at this. He's very good. -
And on top of that, in that very post he mentions "larger quantities"... ABS was an assumption, but for a different reason. That same guy sells a custom Egyptian "double crown" in his bricklink store that is made of ABS. You're right that we don't know for sure, though. Maybe we could ask him? (Someone else. My CC account hasn't been approved yet)

That's the source, then? Guess it's true... This may get harsh competition from Sharknado 3: Sharknado v. Crocnado. Oh well... I at least hope the Raptors are prominent. Those haven't really had a great representation in toys, and I'd love it for LEGO to be the ones who make the right version.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 13 Rumours and Discussion
Borador replied to just2good's topic in Special LEGO Themes
A centaur body would be much bigger that Medusa, though. It'd have to be as big as a horse. Which would either not fit, or (the more likely option) it'd be too easy to feel for. So not too fair. These things may have been true of Medusa, but they would be much more extreme in the case of a centaur. -
Because he has a Bricklink store and all of his other product are ABS. He also mentioned them being available in a better material, which, based on his other products, could be ABS.
-
Well, if nothing else, there's someone making custom Gondor helmets. These are just prototypes, the final version will be in ABS; http://classic-castle.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=25531 They aren't perfect, but I'm sure the ABS versions will be better... Anyways, I'll take them.

Going About A Tommy Vercetti Minifigure
Borador replied to CrazyDalton777's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Frankly, I don't know who this is, but I think the DJ legs from the CMF line should work. I mean these: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?M=col124 Maybe with blue hips to show the shirt going past his waist? -
I love the new figures! Galadriel's hair is not too good though... And I'm not loving the Witch King's Crown... But dang! I love their torso and head prints! And that armored Thorin! And Elrond! Wow! Some awesome figures this round!

New Theme Being Announced at New York Comic Con 2014
Borador replied to Pheonix1604's topic in General LEGO Discussion
My money is on Bionicle now. And part of me hopes it is. When I was a kid I had the blue and green guys from the original wave, and if they throw back to that, there'd be an excellent nostalgia moment. -
I used to have a fairly stupid nickname on one of my old websites from when I was like, 12. I thought it sounded good at the time, and honestly, it isn't bad if you know what I meant by it... Problem was, I was the only one who could have possibly known because I made it up. To anyone else, it sounded idiotic... Eheh. That is why I took special care in choosing my new nickname. It's short, simple, easy to pronounce, it isn't dumb sounding if you don't know what it is (it's a breed of dog) and versatile enough that I can use it anywhere. Of course, I've never used it the same way twice (on MOCpages, it's Borador M. Flickr; Borador1, and on Classic Castle, it will be BoradorIV once they approve my account) So yeah. I have had a bad one, but not in a while...

Back in my early days of being in this hobby, before I joined any forums, I used to read old posts on Classic Castle (why? Because I felt it important to know the history of my hobby *coughIwasboredcough*). And from the knowledge I gained from that, I make my own distinction. I figure the "classic" era ran from genesis to the second knights kingdom (I make it sound so fancy). KKII was not, however, part of the Classic Era, rather, it was the line that "killed" it (despite having many upsides). Though many later themes have been on par, and some have surpassed the sets of the days of old, they are not "classic" yet. They are too new. Good, yes, but not "classic". (Although, I often refer to the Fantasy Era trolls as "classic orcs".... Perhaps "modern classics" is the right term.) I know KK1 and much of the sets from the later 90's were very different from the old sets and had many proto-modern features, but they still had all of the elements of classic sets that disappeared at the turn of the century (old gray and brown, etc.). So I consider them classics. I realize many people don't see it the same way, but this is my view.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 13 Rumours and Discussion
Borador replied to just2good's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I'm pretty sure we aren't getting that girl in the pool. I mean, the boy next to her is very generic and unrealistic new mold using, and it seems weird that they'd put her there next to a figure that would never exist. Boxer guy is also probably a no. At least for this series. I hope to get him eventually. The heart covered boxers is a classic cartoon gag that I'd love to have in LEGO. The director? I'd say yes. I hope yes. But since S12 is barely out yet, we may be jumping the gun a bit... (That said, I am pretty sure we're getting that Director.) -
What? That sounds like a Sy-Fy original. Goodness, I hope this is proven wrong. Maybe, if true, he can go up against Mega-Super-Mutant-Shark! That would be awesome. I just hope that this "D-Rex" looks enough like the normal one in 1-3 so I can use it for that. Maybe this film would be good and I'm just prejudging it. At this point I don't really care as long as the dinosaurs are similar enough to get decent toys made of them. I hope.

This is just me, but I were you, I wouldn't use any music in my videos at all if you're making money off them. Copyright holders probably won't come after you, but if they did, the consequences could potentially be huge. I'd be careful... This particular instance seems like some illegitimate jerk trying to annoy you, true. That company name sceams fake. But I'd be careful here.

... My goodness. That's terrifying. Almost as if it were designed to fit that way...

These are some awesome customs! Especially love that Robby! If you don't mind, do you have instructions for it? But really they're all fantastic. Keep it up!
