Well in norway if you purchase for mroe than 200nok you have to pay and extra 25% import taxt aswell as handling fee by the toll officce people. Unless your seller wants to mark it as a gift or a lower value. Most of them you jsut pay with paypal wich works good. Wait times varies. the longest i've had to wait was a month. But most takes about 2 weeks I think.

They also have to factor in how many other sets they are offering retailers. so adding a theme you kindof have to pause another. As for the sets in that design room picture, they weren't final designs, so they weren't exactly "ready to go".

The european prices are less than 5-10 euro. Not even the hair AND armor one is 5 or more. The orcs without printed legs are infact more expensive than the ones with printed legs so ignore those, who prefers plain brown legs over a nice prince anyways. I think everyone who cares should send them an email asking whats up. Depending on wich country youre from you will get in contact with different teams who might hold different or just have gotten diferent messages. It doesent hurt that atleast someone at lego will know theres an interest in this theme. I send lego an email to see what they'll end up telling me. Looks like the stud that has a hole in it, the one the unicorn cats from the movie uses to connect their horn. Propably sticks on there by movie magic..

But we know alot of the battle will happen in dale, they buildt a HUGE set for it, and we've seen figthing happen there in the vlogs. (no they would not of buildt all that just for the prologue)

Thats the erebor dwarves going to attack smaug from the prologue. The EE bluray extras shows a group of iron hills dwarves on a greenscreen, the musical score VLOG shows 1 iron hills dwarf dying on greenscreen.

People would remember the Bolg vs Legolas fight from dos, I mean Radagast figthing an orc in dol guldur, and Arwen at the council of Elrond worked aswell, and I dare say Bolg figthing legolas would work better than those 2 examples. kids would recognize it wich would help sell sets without them having seen TABA . (not to mention Beorn figthing orcs in dol guldur, and Thrandil figthing agaisnt orcs and wargs on a weird wall) The dwarves will get nice armor for bo5a, so it's unlikely lego would make any dwarves in their raggedy laketown scrubs. Fili and Kili in particular are important in bo5a so they shouldn't be in a laketown set.

I vote for Lothlorien. Here is what I'd imagine the 2 sets could be like. Mt DOom wathertop set size, Lorien council of Elrond size:

I want laketwn "town hall" with smaug. 8 characthers. Smaug (he propably count as a characther cause of all his molds and prints. ) Alfrid Bard Bolg Bain (Bard's son) Legolas Tauriel Laketown citizen man Bolg,tauriel, Legolas, bard and laketown citizens all fights in the battle of the 5 armies, including them in the Laketown set makes alot of sense since they serve 2 purposes in the wave. And then they don't have to "take up slots" in the bo5a sets! -I think this would be the best selection of figures for another laketown set, we don't need another Master of Laketown or Laketown guard figure. Some people might want a Braga figure, but we don't know if he's present in the bo5a. The box art could show:

The fact that these sets are very much TABA based, should mean it'll be Laketown smaug, not Erebor smaug. Is Gandalf really worth an extra 3 dollars anymore? x] WOuld be ace if lego did manage to make up the real armored sauron tho, he'd need atleast 1 new molded piece so that could be the price. It would be glorious if wave 3 has no Gandalf at all!!

Can we assume the hobbit will also get a big d2c seet later? With the normal release of TABA being in october they could even release a set like that in december. Is there any chanse of a store exclusive set on top of the 4 sets we have?

Thats just stuff they push to get retailers to buy, doesent relalay mean they live by it themselves. The tragic line of action figures for the hobbit uses alot of the same things in their retailer marketing.

Dol guldur seomthing- Hoping for 1 Galadriel and galhadrim soldier or armored elrond. 0 Gandalf in this set please. 313 = 6 minifigures (if its an army builder-like set) propably some dale ruin, 2 New armored orcs, 1 Dain, 2 armored elves + 1 armored dwarf? 471 = 5 minifigures (lake town size) more dale, proapbly mroe story based, so thorin, fili, kili, azog and beorn? XXX = ? If this is the smaug set then it's proapbly town hall of laketown, Bolg, Bard, Laketown guard, Alfrid, Bain, Legolas, and Smaug. could give us another Tauriel aswell(arwen hair)

yeah, but unlike other movies the hobbit has 2 "dvd" releases in 2015, there will proapbly also be 2 full franchise boxsets including lotr. n top of that, lego is doing a fair bit of new and diferent things this year. At the very elast the wait for more hobbit is shorter this year!

Yeah except for perhaps Dol guldur resolution the movie seems to be fairly laid out already. It might be good for sales to have the sets out longer before the movie, the franchise already has a fair amount of steam from the first 2 movies. Certainly older fans might be msot excited before the movie is out.
