But hasnt the assumption been that the biggest set in helms deep size? can't remember what size the next to largest set is supposed to be. edit. next to largest set is another 470 piece set, supposedly, so i guess laketown is biggest then! Shame the biggest set has so little potential for new cool minifigures... Alfrid? The 3rd movie being game dlc, will proapbly end up seling a complete version of the video game, wich MIGHT come with a figure aswell. might even be both lotr+ full hobbit version of the physical game.

well laketown doesen't have to be the biggest, it depends on the size of the 3 buildings right. laket town cahse had 2 buildings and only 470 pieces. Also, why didnt they say anything about the remaining 2 sets?!

unless they delay it it sounds like end of march/start of april is the release, european release of games usualy is a couple of days later.

Remember ssome pages back we talked about emailing lego etc. I emailed them 6 days ago and have yet to get an answer, usually the answer within 3 days or less.

I have not heard about the game being postponed, got ay links? amazon.de says april yeah more lotr sets have only been false rumors really.

i think december is part of the next year in lego terms. we never got hobbit pictures in the catalogue at the satrt of the year before.

As mentioned, we already got that one with the dvd, btw we see that blue coated bilbo in the extended edition, not just the trailers. edit. unless you mean the one seen in the game trailer. thats jstu the one with got already without the jacket. I really hope we don't get that its super boring.

Yeah, 4 sets meant 13 new printed figures. one big d2c set is like 9 figures tops? and alot of them not new.

Toy fair proapbly is way too early yes. I think no info uintill comic con. The videogame will proapbly include designs that will show up in the october sets. If they do the prologue we'll get a look at the mirkwood soldier minifigures for example.

No it's nto for sure going to be one, no official word on it. But all the lego games in recents years has, So it proapbly will be this time aswell. DC, marvel, lotr, lego city, potc, lego movie games all had it.

Well kindof. It would depend on the quaity of the possible new sets right. They did make a really bad set for thranduils realm technically, but they could make a kickass larger set, showing the entrance and some stuff inside for example. - would include the palace guards + trumpeteer + Narzug as exclusives Beorns house is also left, they could make that into a back wall open type house like bag end. including horse, cow, pig & chickens - Would include a Shirtless Beorn with a not-super-angry face as exclusive. Rivendell is not really covered nor the sequence with the elves killing the orcs+wargs. - woud include armored erond and the even soldiers as exclusives. Bard's house is not covered, Laketown is like the perfect city to make multiple sets for, so naturally expandable. - Could include Bard's daugthers + percy as exclusives The 3 trolls are also not covered, but i think it's fairly obvious why cause of the 3 huge molds it would require.

They do look pretty mucht he same expect size, color and antlers. (thranduil's elk and raindeers) Lego's scale from things is always a bit wibbely wobbely anyways.

I much prefer getting normal figures with new molds, instead of more bigfigs. Most bigfig worthy characthers are not that interesting.

Well thats just "star wars" and "super heroes", I doubt they will make more sets than usual for those themes, They will proapbly make Rebels and episode 7 sets instead of any clone wars or epi 1-6 sets. Similar thing with marvel, less spiderman more avengers and or ant man. With dc it'll propably be almsot all "MOS2" sets, seeing as that includes the all powerfull selling tool Batman aswell. So we're still left with a gap in themes. Might have been intended for potc before that got delayed.

Why would a boar be used to pull grond? The dinosaur/rhinos that pull grond looks nothing like Boars?! A boar mold wouldn't be a waste cause they could be used in future zoo/forest sets, a boar is a natural creature so they could sue it again if needed. rememebr the ostrict they amde for 1 set? same thing goes for that,

I think the animal/creature in the "armybuilder" would be an eagle.

Isnt there more Arctic city sets coming? they could do with a elk/reindeer mold right? Make the antlers changeable and change the color? arctic doesent follow natural rules right? That said, thranduil riding his bor to battle, not in battle, the elves should show up before the the battle begins, and we've seen him on foot figthing in dale. Once agains tho, I would rather have perfect minifigures with new molds insetad of more animals.
