Take into consideration how lego fiddles with scale How incredibly huge the t-rex is How a lego hobbit is really bigger than it should be. Compared to a man/normal minifigure the t-rex is big enough for the size of smaug in lego form.

The prologue armor is the same used in bo5a, so they should show up in 2014 at least. And that is in mirkwood, theres not vegetation like that in Dale, Also I think it's like an outpost.

Sadly I think Azog is the "hero" figure in the elf army set. Wich proapbly means we'll never a see a crowned Thranduil, wich is the only one that matter.

The vlog and prologue soldiers are the same, the ones in the trailer are diferent, these are seen in another vlog inside the mountain. Thranduil has 3 types of organized elven figthers, His army (prologue) the woodland guards (Tauriel's crew) and the Realm's guards (trailer + PJ live event clip) I now think we now might see a mix of THESE and THESE

Those 4 sets were never the issue. I believe the mirkwood army, will be the armored elves, not the one's we've seen made so far.

I would not be happy, cause that would proapbly take up the place of another unmade location, and the figure selection would be shit concrning new characters.

Lego has been good at covering every characters so far in the hobbit sets. IF my predctions on the minifigs in this years sets come true, then we'll only be missing 4 important characthers/soldiers and 4 very minor characthers. Along with smaug. If lego make a 3rd wave, I'm sure they can cover the rest of the important characthers. I'm sure we'll see a smaug set at some point, But I wouldn't be suprised if he is staying out of marketing/merchandising during 2013, with the possible exception of the art book. Lego could easily do a "black pearl" and release the Smaug set a little later.

I hope that included the set list that may or may not be true. Cause thats usually how these treads go. The future set discussion is more of a wishlist dump.

We do see easterlings when the Minas tirith gate is breached, just barely, but i hada say it!

I hope this is the case, I like the dollhosue styles lego sets (harry putter burrows, lotr bag end, orthanc, friends sets.)

Um are people forgetting the majority of the sold azogs were as expensive? Pretty sure the 1500 one wasnt the msot expensive sold. Also, dude on brickshow apparently hasn't gotten the news that nothing is confirmed about future azog minifigs....

The videogame Easterlings looks trash, less mold work and more printing would be much better.

I think he MIGHT be in mirkwood elf army, They will want to put a hero in that set. If this is the proper army, and not the mirkwood woodland guards, then it does not make sense to use Legolas or Tauriel. I am hopefull! That said, I think Azog will come in this set.

Give Gothmog a Brown warg, and have some printed rohan horses attacking, and you can have a much better set still containing those 2 elements withouth making a relatively unimportant scene into a set.

Then why would the set number for the samllest set not come directly before Dol Guldur Ambush.. Unless lego maeks some huge mistakes, there'll be plenty of great figures with these sets.

Ooh, people reposting old news... Either way People have seen retailers catalogues by now, and noone seems to have disputed the hobbit set list, so it's propably real.

Nope, theres no need for it, It would SEEM they are getting as many caracthers covered as possible, The first wave was about ALL the dwarves, The second wave coveres the MEN, more elves and Wizards. While getting Bilbo and Thorin in there because they are the main guys along with gandalf. The 3rd wave, would be A mash up of all of them, while covering Beorn and the rest of the unmade caracthers. Remaining Hobbit caracthers, the ones I expect we'll get this year highligthed with a * (if the set list is real) 3= movie 3 figs. It would add up to 8-9 new molds this wave (+ whatever we could get in an exclusive set) lotr wave 2 has 7 new molds. Bolg * Azog * Radagast * Thranduil perhaps Necromancer * Galadriel * hobbit Elrond * "sick" Thrain * Beorn Dain ironfoot 3 Armored mirkwood elf * Arored iron hills dwarf 3 armored orc soldiers 3 Alfrid Lindir Fimbul Narzug
