  1. But that ent is fantastic! and it's not meant to look like any specific ent.
  2. It would be a very cool piece to get, obviously they wouldnt use the one in the geame diretly though. But i think theres lots of other new molds I wouldnt want before this one.
  3. Lego doesen't have an issue releasing 2 bad guys in one wave.. I hope atleast his head is molded, otherwise it will lack almost any recognizability.
  4. The helms deep elves wouldn't/shouldn't be in a Lorien set. The elves that takes out the orcs are all in those grey cloaks/tunics.
  5. Doesen't the battle happen during winter in the book?, the movie propably have a compressed timeline compared to that, so it was propably either no winter or an early winter.
  6. Indeed, I'm sure people would be happy for more Moria orcs aswell!
  7. WIth lego I'm sure they could have Galadirel barage Frodo with flick fire missiles when she wants the ring x] Bag end is another somewhat static set, (although based on a super iconic location).
  8. I hope we get a Galadirel figure in her white dress atleast. But I would really like a Lorien set, becuase I like getting every main location "filled in" in lego form, and I would want a Lorien guard (or haldir in his lorien clothes) Here is a much better look at my lorien set:
  9. It has over 450 pieces.
  10. Thanks! Yeah it's quite bare, I left a platform up there for minifigs, but i's easily changed/fixed with a part of half arch bricks and 2 leaf pieces. The front part of the "hut" will be changed around to use 2 white gothic pieces instead.
  11. You don't seem to understand how cuusoo works, if lego made a set from this project, it wouldn't be a reproduction of the model shown, it would be made by lego deisgner in the standard lego style. You should give it your vote simply to show lego that we want a minas tirith set. I hope they make soemthing better than what's in the game. I've made a "model" of my own, in the style of what I hope they make. 258pieces. (made with only available colors for the build)
  12. Some comparisons for the new figs, Azogs lego fig is photoshopped. http://www.flickr.com/photos/47575695@N02/sets/72157634753931838/
  13. Never mind the fact that it's a good looking set and a nice representation of Laketown. Theres also the 2 redish brown gothic arches that people seem to be in love with!
  14. Mr. fantasic: long woody legs, long woody arms. Human torch: fire-hair piece The thing: Something similar to Azog, Ewoks, Wookiies Invisible woman: normal minifigure. INVISIBLE MEANS INVISIBLE PEOPLE, not translucent.
  15. They will upddate it, Remeber for lotr each movie had its own color, fotr green, ttt red, rotk blue. This was refelcted in all marketing to really show that these were new items. So far it looks like DOS pacaging. There will be a bigger change than jsut the top corener "icon" that lotr lego has. I think the packaging for Azog minifigure is a great example of whats to come with DOS packaging, dark green.
  16. I think maybe the 300-soemthing pieces is from another set. Because I'm pretty sure theres more than 430-something pieces in the laketown set. There is now way theres just 300-something pieces in the laketown set they showed us. I can share my LDD file if anyone wants to check it out for themselves and fiddle with it.
  17. On top of that, except for very niche internet places, LEGO got no real publicity from giving out azog. They should have awarded them to kid builders online instead. Or given them out for free to random people who ordered sets from lego.com
  18. Well being signed with 2012 it wouldn't have been concept art.
  19. Well it kinda shows how flawed legos plan was in dealing with thisf figure.
  20. Sooo theres 8 azog on ebay now, + atleast one sold,, Only 100 made that means 9% of everyone who got a figure is selling it... Ridiculous!
  21. Oh there'll be even more expensive sets with more amazing figures!
  22. Sure, but I think it's fine as an addition to the laketown set, you wouldn't want the boat to look too big compared to the rest. If they wanted a more major boat, it'd be it's own set, cause apparently "ship" sets sells well. You can however put 12 figures in the boat, Thats just 3 spots too few. (without the barrel and catapult obviously).
  23. Ok everybody here is some news for you. everyone's been complaing about the price per piece in the laketown chase. lego told is theres 339(?) pieces in the set. THIS IS WRONG I buildt the set in LDD and am currently at 461 pieces. Now My build might not be 100% accurate, BUT there is now way i used 120 pieces too many. Conclution: The Laketown chase set has more than 450 pieces
  24. Come on, that's not how lego works. I think they should have given us the rowbaots in a new more fitting color though! o ratleast hinted at the color it has in the movie with the bricks used in their construction on the boat. Well in the Laketown context I believe you'd be better suited looking at old russian helmets, The whole laketown has an eastern european flavour to me. (the dale context is perhaps a whole other matter)russian helmets: http://members.ozemail.com.au/~chrisandpeter/kirpichnikov_helmets/helmets.htm Polish helmet: I think the complete Laketown guard is FANTASTIC. Now that we are filling in the various middle earth cultures in lego we need some gondor soldiers already!
