This is someone who opened it right after comic con, and now that they've taken notice of the price they want to cash in. It shouldnt go as high as the others sold, but surely it'll go much higher than it is at the moment.

It'll propably be at the retailers who wants it, like how the BTTF was supposed to be only in lego stores, but ended up in more places. Lego proapbly won't push on retailers asm they do with some themes x]

I watch the show, but im not sure there are that many fans for it anymore, it's just a thing that sticks around it seems. I'm excited to see the lego for it though, een if i don't think I'll buy it.

Lego has never does anything even remotley related to the arkham games, and I don't think they ever will.

Why would a theme aimed at adults, use an extremely child centric way of being sold? I don't see why they wouldnt make atleast one set, Wouldn't people want a set that they could populate with figures or seomthing..

They are just for the game, they reuse too many assets to be 'real'.

That's not how things work. Also those 2 sets does not fill the price of the "missing" set slots.

I don't ffeel it's like that, a Thranduil figure is far more realistic and possible seeing as theres 2 more waves of sets to be had from the hobbit, whereas minas tirit might not even have another wave of sets at all for lotr for it to be released in. And people (including me) find it abit silly that a characther as important as thranduil might be skipped in his most iconic attire. Time will tell.

Atleast october is inching ever closer! And a new movie video blog should come out soon, It's kindof on overtime, he said they'd release one soon after filming ended, and it's soon been a month. Maybe we'll get a new trailer soon aswell? and there was some talk that he might show some footage at some event, seeing as they didn't do comic con maybe it's time they release something! They have got to release some dol guldur footage in marketing before the release surely, if it's whats being focused on with merchandising and lego sets. If the set list is correct it's understandable they showed off lake town at comic con though, since dol guldur stuff is still relatively secret and unknown.

If there is another store exclusive set that could be elf based, Though that would be a bit curious since last year the barrel escape was store exclusive aswell(right?) As people have pointed out in the line of lotr/hobbit set numbers theres one missing still. It's interesting how relatively little we know about the sets, seeing as we don't know that much about the movie either.

A thing I would like (not for wasting a "slot") would be if they released another half of the black gate with a diferent set of minifigures. change the eagle with a troll change the mouth of sauron and an orc with 2 easterlings and change the heroes + an orc with Frodo, Sam and Gollum

Do you have an exmaple of a lego set that is in the style you would want the house? It won't be a huge exclusive 360 model, wich means it'll proapbly be a dollhosue style house, and seeing as its just a relatively flat house there's not much special building to be done. the front windows could be something though!

I think this whole theme will fit very nicely with the FRIENDS theme, colorful "normal life" buildings and locations.

They could make the mount doom entrance, it's something else than just rocks. Elrond is however top 3 most important prologue characters.

Well, the majority of Rivendell was a "miniature" so there is refrence for all of it. here is the msot important piece of it. http://cdn.geeknation.com/Blogs/12_2012/lotr_rivendell1.jpg But yeah, for me it's much mroe important covering the minifigures as you can't make them yourself (no, just no). Faramir, Genric gondorian soldier, and armored orc is the mst important missing ones for me, With witch king and Eowyn reght behind. No prologue set is planned, thats why they made that Elrond exclusive. They wanted to do soemthing we wouldn't see otherwise.

Nah, he's unimportant and doesent fit the set. Had it been a tv studio set or soemthing like that it would be a different story, And I think lego is focusing on making more important characters, some monkey hardly seems worth a mold.
