Lego would have no problems making the balrog, hes just a big black creature with some fire on his back. I'm in the camp that does not know why everyone wants him though...

Eomer did not get a breastplate, and Eowyns armor is really slim, a breastplate for her would look bad.

Thats not how it works, The video game guys makes up their own version when lego does not have the refrence to provide them with. Also, she does not tie ehr hair up like that for the battle. thats more of a helms deep thing.

WIth the lego movie CMF's its the variations you get in the CMF bags, where the normal/standard versions comes in the building sets. Also cmf's have leaked several times.

There are no automatic checkpints, there are save stations you ened to use.

Yes I agree with this. 1 more set with Faramir, Eowyn, Witch king, Gondorian soldier, and possibly a new printed army orc. Considering Eowyn could easily come without her helmet, it would account for 2 new molds. As for an osgiliath/Eowyn set, thats totally ok. yes its not the same scene, but geographically its litterally shoulder to shoulder. And the witch king would be the 'connective tissue' he hangs out in Osgiliath AND fights Eowyn. Remember The council of Elrond set included Arwen, even though shes from a few scenes prior.

Ooh, its awesome that it includes a spear aswell. The build off that set isnt great for a polybag, but some of the pieces are.

1 dwarves 2 laketowners 3 elves 4 eagles 5 orcs/wargs, the wargs does not act on their own behalf. We are missing the army elves aswell, do not think the MEA elves arre the bo5a ones. And the laketowners figthing in bo5a is mostly made up from a ragtag group, not all of the "guards" we have.

I dont know how their lisence works, if they got hobbit/lotr as one unit or not.. But if there are no new lot sets next eyar, why did they not wait to release orthanc uintill then? Instead of perhaps be cannibalizing their sales of the normal lotr wave? I do not think the lotr sets have sold well either. but if they released like 1 more set next year at a reasonable price, with the right charcthers people want, you would know that it would get enough sales.

No no, not the case, this is WB who has both the movie and game lisence, all the MOVIE middle earth based games are made by various studios owned by WB. Travelers tales are part of WB aswell. (fyi during lotr movie days EA had the lisence but thats not the case anymore).

SHould mention that the guys who made the game also worked with the tolkien peeople(middle earth enterprises(?) ) for the creation of the game.

Um you guys, keep in mind the guys who designs the sets does not deisgn the minifigure. the set designers puts all their effort into the sets,

But the wait would have been 12 months. If you do think its better, you're free to wait uintill all the movies are covered.

Kids/families does not buy dlc very often, thats barely a thing alot of "standard" people know about for console/pc games. Even if the FInal movie were to be dlc they would release a boxed copy.

What, he has even less to do with this game,and would be the 3rd Bilbo figure, It would be a waste, and I believ we'll get more Bilbos in the sets Anyway. Galadriel has A fair bit of Play in the hobbit.

The spring release kindof makes it a littlebit odd if there is no middle earth set(s) released during that time. But I am certainly expecting another minifig along with the game, Is this perhaps Galadriel's shot at a minifig? Another hobbit game is assumed after the last movie, at wich point we can expect another minifig.

So after the teaser from the instructions have been around for a while, today WB announced the game proper. It will be released in spring 2014 and incclude content from the first 2 movies. That is great cause it means we'll proapbly get another game for the 3rd movie, perhaps some lotr/full hobbit game collection.(speculation) Wich in return means 2 more exlcusive minifigures, one for each game preorder/special edition! (speculation)

Yeah theres alot of weird stff going on in that poster, but overall it's nice.
