    I'm excited to hear news about the JL sets already! That seems to mean that Lego is getting to work fairly in-depth, like BvS, with the source material. And since every part of the BvS sets had something of an equivalence in the film, that gives me high hopes for the JL line.

    Yeah! I wonder if she'll have a new minifigure or a repeat of her BvS appearance. Since that one is one of my favorites in the entire Super Heroes line, I'll be okay with that if it does happen.

    I wonder if the Scuttler will resemble the new crawling vehicle in Justice League next year. They both aound fairly similar, being leggier than usual Batrides, so I look forward to seeing both!

    I'd say Flash and Aquaman are easily mainstream. Green Lantern borderline. Martian Manhunter definitely isn't, sadly. I'm hoping for red goggles any way they come. Besides, at least you could order the head piece standalone if you didn't want the whole set.

    While there are several "mainstream" heroes who haven't appeared, she is the only of the DC trinity to have not appeared in a juniors set.

    Heh. Both of those are in a lot of trouble when next year hits.

    With the success I saw from the previous cubes, I'd be surprised if there isn't another this year. And since both Superboy and the Legion of Super Heroes have Superman roots, it would seem most likely to get anither character tied in to Superman. Hopefully we'll get any news at some point to get us past basic speculation.

    You are a far more optimistic person than I, but I would be very glad if you are correct. I like the new face we have seen so far, so I look forward to seeing what else we have in store.

    I remember last time we found out about Lightning Lad's inclusion right after the first cube was done selling. The leakers set a really high bar for themselves that they have yet to live up to. :D

    I suspect we'll have more than one black-suit Batman repeat, and probably more than one robin. It's really too early to tell, but I suspect a good 70% of the figs will be exclusive to one set.

    Supposedly in a "swamp" set with a red pickup truck (visible in the background of one of the trailers). There has also been a report that he may have a tail, which makes sense for his appearance, as he tends to have one when shown with a full croc jawline.

    Agreed. While I would like more DCEU stuff down the road, there have been only three movies so far, two of which were represented, and one was unofficially incorporated despite being a less child-friendly source. The MCU has had more movies, and not all were included (the first two Iron Man, Thor, and Cap movies, and Hulk's only titular outing), not to mention that the less child-friendly entries, Daredevil and Jessica Jones, haven't even received unofficial inclusions. I don't think there's any weird bias; Lego makes what they figure (no pun intended) will sell.

    Because the pictures of the figures don't show enough room for a printed piece, and it would be an arbitrary inclusion. Just because they have had them in the past doesn't mean they always will, especially in this case, where there is no need for a printed belt.

    I think they just put that belt on the wrong way in the picture. I think she's intended to wear it the same way as Batman.

    I've ordered pieces to put together my custom Black Mask, Firefly, and Slipknot. I'll post pics once I have them!

    The physical piece would have had to be much taller to cover the print, which probably would not have looked quite as good. Not to mention the previous black-suited Batman was very much the "Jack Sparrow"of the line with such heavy use, so any variety is welcome by me.

    Maybe SW will have another lousy year next year like they have this year? :D I'm kidding, none of us want that. But this theme will make us all broke.

    That alt face on Batman is certainly unique from any other faces we've seen on him. However, his main "serious" face with the narrow eyes (see official image on page one) may be my favorite face with that cowl.
