Heck, who knows, maybe I'll get a complete case and do giveaways or contests via youtube videos. Whatever the case, thanks for the input! I'll be interested to see if we get the same number per set as before, or if we get more to allow the higher number of figures; a significant price difference could change my mind.

I'm going to start saving into a "Lego Batman Movie fund" so I can get everything. The CMFs will be especially tricky. Do I want to feel for them all in-store, or just buy a whole case and sell the duplicates?

Yeah! I certainly hope so, the way I've been calling it (hesitantly) for a while now. DC is absolutely going to bankrupt me next year between normal sets, Batman's movie, and these.

In the Justice League footage we've seen, Aquaman has very vivid eyes, which is an intentional design choice. I'm willing to put out a guess that his minifig interpretation in the JL sets next year will have colored eyes, a la Mr. Freeze's second minifigure design.

I'll almost definitely pick up the second one, but I'm not entirely sold on the first.

With the amount of focus the lobster has gotten as a prop, I agree. We'll probably get lobsters.

I'm not sure how well Katana's mask would print on a minidoll head. Regardless of how they do it (doll or fig), it'll be interesting to see the hair pieces.

For anyone who hasn't watched the video, here are the name-dropped villains at the end: Orca: a woman who can turn into an Orca/Human hybrid at will. Dr. Phosphorus: a skeletal man, constantly burning white-hot, who can also release radiation. The Kabuki Twins: the already revealed figures are martial artist/assassin bodyguards hired by Penguin who fight with bladed fingers. Mime: a woman who takes the guise as a mime and commits crime with a silenced pistol and concealed-electric gloves. She hates noise because her parents died when her dad's fireworks factory exploded. Mutant Leader: leader of the Mutant gang (go figure) from The Dark Knight Returns. He is big, gray, strong, and wears spikes. Frank Miller never game him any origin explanation.

Mutant leader sounds awesome! Dr. Phosphorous would be great with Ghost Rider's head-piece in another color! I'm pumped for obscure characters!!!

Yeah, he's already on my front list. He's probably the most truly inaccurate one I've found yet.

If we don't get America Batman and Tutu Batman, I'm gonna be really, really sad.

I hope we get to see more potential sets, and some Joker footage, so we know what to expect. Maybe we'll even get to spot new villains.

Reptile really needs a couple of pieces I don't have, like the unscarred Chima Croc's head and the plain black head wrap in that mold, but I decided he was still decent enough to show anyway. "Bat-merch," so probably some sort of gag item that turns out useless in a car chase. I can see the circle used well, though: Armored Batman, Hero Factory minifig armor, and that circle might look good together.

The whole thing is a render. That's why all the black pieces look like that.

Well, Justice League Action has footage released from Comic-Con, and I have to say, it would give us a lot of potential for a Lego line, if they do one. There are a lot of desirable figures that could be included, and even if they wound up somewhat stylized, I think they'd still fit in pretty well. Zatanna and Atom are the standout ones to add to Firestorm as characters we might get alongside the rest.

The new faces are great! The new hair is great! Everything is great!!! ...is Batgirl's belt on backwards in that picture?

Nice! I've been wanting to mod mine, but I haven't figured out what to do with him yet. I might build a big Bat-head to go on it.

I agree! I'm probably going to pick her up along with the dimensions team pack she's in and swap heads, that way I have even more Harley variants I can display. Mistah J is definitely getting the same treatment, as his head from the usual Super Heroes sets is one of my all-time favorites, but this new torso is so brilliant.
