  1. Based on the DIY look of Two-Face, I absolutely want that version of Condiment King. It would be completely in-character if he made a suit that looks absolutely crappy.
  2. Oh wow. Most people MOC'ed it smaller, but it looks really good MOC'ed bigger!
  3. I hope at least a couple of the sets have Batman's face from his last released Lego Movie set. And the more Bat-faces we get, the better.
  4. We need a villain team of Music Meister, Condiment King, Polka-Dot Man, and Crazy Quilt.
  5. DC: 1: Wonder Woman (BvS) 2: Killer Croc 3: Armored Batman I changed my mind. I almost had Killer Moth top 3, but I remembered the BvS figs.
  6. If bigfigures are fair game, Killer Croc. If not, Killer Moth.
  7. Joker has also been in kid-friendly adaptations, and being arguably the best-known supervillain of all time, has very high demand. Zsasz lacks the exposure and the more "endearing" traits. Now that'll be the day!
  8. Zsasz's entire characterization is being a serial killer, and unlike the other murderous Bat-rouges, he doesn't have an adaptation that makes him family-approved enough for Lego. I wouldn't hold my breath on him. Mad Hatter, though, seems likely in this lineup, since he's a relatively well-known Bat-villain with no prior appearances yet.
  9. Some of the pieces are only in-game, I think, but here's Nathan (with Joel from The Last of Us for good measure). Naughty Dog Characters by Charlie Griffin, on Flickr
  10. Uh, guys, some of the pictures vanished from the first page...
  11. Yeah, that's a common effect used on Magneto. They probably used it here A) Because it's much more memorable than just a cartoony older man's face, and B) Because even though it's very in-character for Magneto, they probably would never use it in a "serious" set, so they'd have to here.
  12. Not exactly a custom figure IRL, but I made a Nate in-game in Lego Jurassic World, and it definitely looks the part, so it should work for realsies.
  13. I might cry if that happens. Big, pathetic man tears.
  14. Joking and serious. The ridiculous characters are my first choice on these matters; I legitimately want a Polka-Dot Man vs Zebra Suit Bats set.
  15. I make 3 on that. The only reason I haven't ordered it yet is because I'm in the middle of a move; I'm not even bothering with Walmart.
  16. Clearly a must have, right alongside Zebra Suit Batman.
  17. I don't think debating which character could beat whom is going to get this thread anywhere relevant. Rerailing conversation, do we know a street date for the later sets yet?
  18. I agree, it looks like they continue the cloth below his armor. Stick with those!
  19. If that happens, I will send you a prize. For real.
  20. IronThanos is clearly my favorite. Iron Man, with helmet, will be a brilliant Classic Iron Man, and Thanos's face is perfect as the Mad Titan, even alongside normal figures. Tony's car is only average, but the Gauntlet is one of the best micros yet. WolverNeto is good too. Wolverine's mouth is a tad too slanted, but otherwise he works great as a fig, and Magneto's body and head are perfect; that head looks like a classic menacing shot from an X-men comic. Both cars are well above average. Yet again, Spidey has the weakest cars. I'm not as fond of his new head as his last one, but I'm really disappointed by what appears to be a torso repeat. Scorpion, though, is great, and with a full set of legs, would look perfect along side of normal figures.
  21. These are so much better than the original marvel ones. I'll actually pick a couple of these up fairly early, whereas I'm only considering the normal ones on a great sale.
  22. A while back, I posted a few of my vignette builds I use to showcase my collection. I have a couple more to show off now! Joker's Funpark Ride by Charlie Griffin, on Flickr Amongst the Clouds by Charlie Griffin, on Flickr
  23. Go for the bigger ones first. If some odd supply thing comes up in the future (a la Jurassic World or last year's sets unceremoniously being discontinued without warning) it'll be easier to get the smaller set in a pinch.
