It was TC5. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=102965&hl= The 4th post has a shot of the mechanism. I had to use 3 12 tooth bevel gears instead of knob wheels. The only problem is routing drive and steering. On the real rovers, there are electric motors and steering servos at each wheel.

I made a similar setup for one of the contests here. The easiest way to keep the sides even is to think of the whole thing as a differential. The body is the differential housing, and the sides are connected to the output axles. Connect the sides with a trio of knob wheels. The center knob wheel should be stationary in regards to the body. The knobs gears are essentially the spider gears inside the differential housing.

[MOC] Aston Martin DB11

I would opt for steering geometry. You can always add a park gear to the transmission or a parking brake on the driveline if you want to keep it from rolling. I like the white. The wheel arches from the Porsche might be a bit big for this. Nice use of the propeller blades. -

If you decide to build 42043, pull up the review that Jim did (I think). The pictures of the hose routing under the crane is so much clearer than the official instructions. Good luck with the leg. I look forward to your next build, whatever it may be. -
Future Ultimate Technic Sets

A Ford Mustang convertible or a Ford Raptor. Plenty of super cars, but what about a pickup truck? Machinery wise, what about a helicopter with working collective, cyclic, and rudder controls. Or another space shuttle. Even if it is simpler but has the boosters, fuel tank, and the crawler transporter. Or at least the 747 piggyback. -
(Help) 4 speed gearbox
deehtha replied to Oliver 79's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Do you need all the 12/20 gear combinations right before the diff? Why not take the axle with the 8 tooth and extend it all the way back, cutting out 2 pairs of gears and the friction from them. You could even extend the black axle all he way to the last 12/20 pair and mesh to the 20 with a 16 tooth I believe. These solutions will of course change the final ratios. -

Most of those images are renders. Look at the texture of all the rubber bits. And the reflection in the headlights. It is just too shiny -

That clutch gear is in a wierd setup. Either the 24 tooth gear next to it isnt connected to it, or there is something meshing with it above. Seems kinda silly that a manual vehicle would need a clutch. Especially in the driveline or transmission shift system. -

Or, the seats could be orange. All we have from the video is a release date. And that somewhere is an orange bent lift arm. -

I wish I had my pieces right now. I can picture a dump truck mod for both the tractor and the trailer? What about a road train or dually variant? -

The orange on the Volvo was addressed in the Volvo thread. On the real machine, those parts are bright orange so people know where it is safe to grab and stand. -

I would be surprised if this set does it include a full set of beams in orange. If it is indeed orange, we should also get a fairly complete set of panels as well. -

Servo problem?

Check the cable. I have a servo with one of the data lines damaged. It functions fine with the battery box, but when I use a switch or receiver it doesn't work -

It is just easier to use a second sbrick or IR receiver and battery box. I don't know if two boxes wired in parallel would get around the limitation.- 220 replies

Some public schools here the USA can't even afford to repear the hvac systems or the roof. If a school has even one education license, they are either private, or it was a donation. edit: fixed some types due to autocorrect on my phone -

Found at https://education.lego.com/en-us/products/wedo-2-0-readygo-classroom-packs/prod120020 There is a pf 2.0. WeDo 2.0 is the only product for it that is known. -
I think the yellow looks better. A vehicle like this needs to be "in your face". Try it with some dbg accents.
