The Mack is still not listed on the Lego store in the UK. I'm starting to wonder if it will be available on the 1st Jan, as has been speculated. -
I really like the old panels. They give the model a nice retro feel.

That’s beside the point. A C-model is never going to get accepted by TLG. How could it be?

To what end? With the aim of TLG re-releasing the set with C-model instructions?

Congratulations -
Another post with Mindstorms content. Excellent. I like the fact you have restricted the build to the two sets. The appearance is clearly dragon like. Nice to get the turntable built from leftovers also.

The best presents always include that element of surprise, which is difficult to achieve for those of us with a single personality -

I suggested that this may be another new piece. The pin hole spacing doesn’t match a 3x3 T piece. It’s more like a 3x4. -

It looks like the bulk of the body shifts as the bucket is loaded, to act as counter balance for the change on weight. That would add a lot to the functionality of the model. -

Looks good. I thought the wheels looked a little small, until I saw the figure in the last pictures. Now I’m not sure. Do you have a picture of the real van, for reference?
