Looks great to me! The only thing I think that needs work is the trees/ bushes at the front of the MOC, that are rather flat looking.

Thanks, I have been meaning to test what that button did for about a year!

Try contacting the builders directly, some of them may have an LDD file for their MOC.

Thats exactly what I do, though there isn't as much around on the Australian Ebay. -
I know, its ridiculous! just because one of there vehicles has battlements and they "joust" on robotics horses doesn't make it castle. The references are a nice touch, perhaps the point they were trying to make was that the NK theme is set years later than castle. A bit like how there are references to the middle ages still around today, well actually, add a hundred years, jousting and chivalry and see how similar the future looks to NK!

Actually, looking at it, my time is also 5 minutes ahead. Strange.

True. What I really meant was the fact that the walls were rather devoid of texture and it would make them a lot more interesting by adding vines. I should have said, "vines or some other texturing". Perhaps the wooden panelling that I used here ( ) would work well? I forgot to mention, well done on the storyline!

Excellent job here. The roof technique, interior and all the other small details really make this MOC shine. My personal favourite bit is the path, with the random cobblestones and the frozen parts, it looks absolutely brilliant!

Definitely sounds like you got a good deal to me. I look forward to your builds! -
True, its a pity though, I would love TLG to use that technique in a set! What a great parts pack it would make... Oh well, its nice to dream.

I forgot to mention, nice use of that part for the roof.

Looks excellent, I really like the river running through the snow, it is a really nice touch. Two things that would improve it, adding some vines to the wooden walls would break them tip a bit making it look more natural. It looks at the moment as though it has a mild attack of "reddish brown wall system". Apart from that, some more snow inside the walls and on the roof would look nice as well. Overall, a great build!

I don't know much about it personally, but I know someone who is doing it quite successfully. This is his website- http://www.insidethe...thebrick.com I believe he is also on EB, I will have to double check though. I will edit this post when I find out. Edit: No luck though this is his Flickr- https://www.flickr.com/photos/timeprowler

I agree. Knowledge fit this sort tends to vary between different countries and continents. For example, most (if not all), the population of China would know when the Chinese new year is, while the same can't be said for Australia. -
Wow, brick built sails being this effective is a new one for me! When I saw the title I was prepared for them to be not that impressive when compared to cloth ones. How wrong I was!

Looks great! I particularly like the head.

Looks good, the scene works well and you have incorporated many great details such as the CMF mountain climber's rope into the structure.

Just as a standalone mosaic the game board it self would be in a class of its own, but wiht a game as well? Amazing! I wonder if Lego ideas would accept a MOC like this, or perhaps the game it portrays is not well known enough on a global scale to be a success as a set.

I was going to mention that, since when I was zooming on on Flickr, I noticed that the photo was taken with an EM5 and the astronaut photo was taken with an EM1. I wasn't entirely sure as the EXIF wasn't showing so I couldn't tell if it was taken with your favourite prime or not! And to go completely off topic: Re the Flickr PM, the 12-50 is also useful as a 43mm macro, though it does limit it to a fastest aperture of f/8.0. Amazing how much difference adding or removing a comma makes! Sounds great, I look forward to it!

Wow! It looks amazing! Great photography as well. Is there a overall photo of it as well as just this closeup?
