  1. One day, while quietly walking through the library, Biblos noticed a book that had fallen to the floor from the shelves above. "Bother, bother..."
  2. The problem is, the Munchkins are historically a people that are protectors, not aggressors. Lind has grown up being taught to defend, not to attack unprovoked. I've somewhat written myself into a corner with the character for the moment. Hopefully, my plans to leave the Fields with a certain high-powered object** will pay off. If they do, then Lind is over-powered when he goes Black Knight, which opens up all sorts of RP possibilities. He could go Knight Templar(with a slight subversion in that when he behaves that way his actions are still generally right), become a literal Black Knight*, etc., etc. Of course, there is the part where you're not supposed to base your character on future possibilities...which works better when you've focused on your potential RP from the start, which I haven't. But, if this does work, it'll make a perfect "reset button," giving me an excellent reason for him to suddenly change his core feelings and emotions. I mean, if you were in the real world, and you suddenly got a WP: 50- Uh, really over-powered object, I mean, wouldn't you go a little crazy? *There would probably be a lot of this mixed confusedly in. The same with Knight Templar. **Yes, I have run the numbers. It is possible. (Thank you, QMs, for Challenges! )
  3. That's what I thought. Like I said, I thought that that was what it meant, but another party member thought differently, so I asked to make double sure.
  4. Question that just came up in the FOG, regarding the War Challenge: War: Heroes cannot change targets until their current target has been defeated. The issue is that an enemy isn't quite dead, but they are poisoned by five - with only five health remaining. I assume that this doesn't change anything, and it still has to be targeted until it's dead? Or am I incorrect in thinking that?
  5. I'd love to change our order, but the rules specifically state that our characters have to stick to their targets until they are dead. If Sandy rules that poisoning them counts, then I'm all for switching, but going by the letter of the law, I don't think it does.
  6. Excellent question. Without any modifiers(e.g., other themes) listed, I would personally list 2015 as the year, based on the recent trend of themes "happening" the year of release. (e.g., Atlantis, Alien Conquest, Dino...) Also, it mentions that they've been asleep for "thousands of years." Which, if you haven't read Lovecraft, might seem not important. Unless you have, and you recognize the alien head as being almost definitely a reference to He Who Hibernates in Mighty R'lyeh Under the Sea...
  7. Full agreement. Just because something could look fancier, doesn't mean it needs to. The current saber is simple, attractive, and fits multiple roles. Same with the monkey. If it isn't broken, it doesn't need fixing. (I'm looking at you, unnecessarily updated Castle sword that was even more generic and useful than the pirate saber...) On things I would like, a blue and yellow parrot like the picture you posted. Also a green and yellow one...
  8. Battle Order: Purpearl Berthadhiell: Thorny Rose vs. Black Sheep A, Front Row Kiray Nastayo: Sanctified Rito Longsword vs. Battering Ram A, Front Row Siercon (Siercon and Coral): Giant Spear vs. Black Sheep B, Front Row Lind Whisperer: Nothing, Back Row Actaeon Artus: Sanctified Rito Bow vs. Silent Lamb A, Back Row Matthias: Restored Fireball Extraordinaire vs Battering Ram B, Back Row
  9. The thing is though, what should you do when your character encounters a race that his race is historically against, with minor good reason? Take for example, Lind's recent chat with Boris. Historically, the Munchkins have absolutely no race issues against any race - except vampires. There's a little more to it(which delves into parts of the Munchkin back story that are better explained through quests), but basically, they look at vampires as a potential Zombie Apocalypse scenario that could suddenly be unleashed at any moment. Which, on the one hand is technically racist, seeing as how there are plenty of vampires like Boris who just want to live peacefully. But on the other hand, unlike most real-world racist fears, the idea of vampires suddenly going vampire on the world is a technically possible threat, and nowhere near as hard to carry out as it might be supposed(Heck, one of the houses is led by a vampire). Don't forget, Athens had plenty of male-gendered homosexuality. It might not have been entirely supported, but it was put in about the same category as we put older men with money marrying women much younger than themselves today. Not to mention Sparta - where being straight wasn't even a thing, until you were 30.
  10. Speaking of single-gender classes, I imagine Miko would probably be single gender also, since it's grammatically female*. *Of course, in the Western half of the world, an -o ending suggests, if not outright denotes a male gender...
  11. I like reading Flipz's* posts... *And everyone else's.
  12. Do be careful, though - the Brasso is technically melting your LEGO.
  13. I was originally considering putting a modified version of one of my own MOCs on there(An updated version of my Loadlifter Mech), since a MOC uploaded by the actual creator doesn't have the same potential problems as most of the site does, but the IP issue...
  14. Um...I really don't want to seem negative here, but it's not really a question of whether you're using a period or not, it's that the emoticons themselves are distracting. If you really need to use them to get what you're saying across, Eurobricks already has its own selection of LEGO-themed emoticons. Click on the little yellow smiley face above the text box, and then click on whichever one matches your mood(or on "Show All," if the ones shown don't.).
  15. But always two, there are - a master and an apprentice. Which was this?
  16. What if it was "Avenger of _____," with the _____ being replaced by the name of whatever deity the character avenges in? For instance: Of course, now that I see it in practice, it seems a bit clunky...
  17. Battle Order: Purpearl Berthadhiell: Nothing, Back Row Kiray Nastayo: Sanctified Rito Longsword vs. Battering Ram A, Front Row Siercon (Siercon and Coral): Giant Spear vs. Black Sheep B, Back Row Lind Whisperer: Nothing, Back Row Actaeon Artus: Sanctified Rito Bow vs. Silent Lamb A, Back Row Matthias: Restored Fireball Extraordinaire vs Battering Ram B, Back Row
  18. Maybe they could feel the others pain psychically, and lash out in response?
  19. I move for the 'Miko' class. MIKO These caring priests and priestesses use the power of their knowledge to heal the weak and defend the innocent. - Additional Health: +6 - Additional Ether: +1 (+1 per level class without base ether) - Weapons: Mikos, as bringers of peace, do not use complex weapons. Instead they wield things such as broomsticks, hammers, scythes, and staffs. They can also use scrolls. - Job Traits: Omikuji: The Miko's skill in reading makes them able to cast scrolls without fail. 1. SHIELD: Ofuda - The Miko has a 50/50 chance of Cursing the enemy they are attacking, and a 25/75 chance of Cursing a random enemy. 2. CRITICAL HIT: Kuju-in - The Miko strips nine times one half their health from their enemy's health, and distributes it evenly among their party, dealing out 2 times their level plus their WP in damage to two randomly selected enemies. 3. HIT: Youma Taisan - The Miko lashes out in holy anger, dealing 3 times their level + WP to the enemy they are attacking. Their rage has a 50/50 chance of Confusing all enemies in terror at their furor. 4. TRANSFERENCE: Akuryō Taisan - The Miko's skill removes all negative effects from allies, with a 25/75 chance of transferring them to random enemies.(Depending on row.). 5. DARK PREMONITION - The Miko is rendered helpless for a turn by visions of their failing to win the battle. If they tried to cast a scroll, it failed. 6. SPECIAL DAMAGE - The Miko is struck by the enemy attack. This was just a rough draft of ideas for what the class could do, the attacks obviously would need some severe modification before it would be ready for play.
  20. I believe BZPower has a Bionicle RPG(and a few others), but I can't say as to how alike they are. Someday, when I have more time, I'd like to start up a game that would essentially be Heroica in (LEGO)Space, but it needs a lot more work and permissions from several different people/moderators before it could start up.
  21. Some people can build impressive MOCs out of LEGO. A very few people can build Art. You are some of the finest among their ranks.
  22. 24. "Now, the first thing you have to know about your pet dragon, is that 90% of the time, it's not the dragon that's causing all of the problems, it's the human..."
  25. Clenching his teeth against the burning sensation that the loose tufts of wool caught in his eyes created, the rogue shouted out the next attacks. "Master Mystic, if you would...aargh...target the first Black Sheep please, Master Knight, the first Battering...aargh...Ram...thank you. Master Mage, the second Black Sheep if you could... Master Ranger, if you could please attack the Silent Lamb, and....aargh...my eyes...Master Druid, please, the second Battering Ram, thank-aargh-you...!" Battle Order: Purpearl Berthadhiell: Thorny Rose vs. Black Sheep A, Front Row Kiray Nastayo: Sanctified Rito Longsword vs. Battering Ram A, Front Row Siercon (Siercon and Coral): Giant Spear vs. Black Sheep B, Front Row Lind Whisperer: Nothing Actaeon Artus: Sanctified Rito Bow vs. Silent Lamb A, Back Row Matthias: Restored Fireball Extraordinaire vs Battering Ram B, Back Row
