Wow. I still have just as strong feelings about the replacing of molds, etc., but these really are some not so bad sets. There are a few bits and pieces off, but over-all - there's a lot to be loved. Also, check out the Brick Bounty - it doesn't draw attention to it, but it comes with a full skeleton body(the figurehead + the mysterious white pieces you can see in the chest, which the picture with the cook and the rat almost certainly identifies as leg pieces). Nice touch, LEGO!

Heroica RPG- Quest #122: Invasion of the Sheep Snatchers
Lind Whisperer replied to Kintobor's topic in The Heroica Archive
After examining the sign, the Black Knight turned and tried to copy the signs down onto a piece of paper*. *OoC: If they are big enough for him to be able to read them. Also, if having him use paper he's carrying in RP is pushing the rules too much, than I take back the action. -
Full agreement. It would also have the effect of making these guys fit in a lot better, since they were the only ones to have green clothes.

Heroica RPG- Quest #122: Invasion of the Sheep Snatchers
Lind Whisperer replied to Kintobor's topic in The Heroica Archive
Having met no success in his looting attempts, the Black Knight investigated the sign. He then quietly turned, and spoke to the rest of the party. "Perhaps, the Battle Mage should put on his cowl, and talk to the owl, to see if it has anything to say?" -
Thanks! Afraid not. Lind's face is actually part 3626cpb0704, not 3626bpx302 - the slits on the helmet cover up the cheek bones. No, but Lind is/was trying to start up a relationship with your other character.

Heroica RPG- Quest #122: Invasion of the Sheep Snatchers
Lind Whisperer replied to Kintobor's topic in The Heroica Archive
OoC: A brief list of stat changes, from Lind going Black Knight: New character pic: Level: 15.5 Health: 35/35 (7+15+4+9) And, he shouldn't be carrying his Darker Ethereal Deck, since he left it with Germ as collateral. The Black Knight began to silently investigate(in order), the Mushroom, the flag(to see if it could be used as a weapon), and the shield hanging over the archway(If the part is just a decoration, than ignore that last action). He did not begin any conversation with the rest of the party; since they had left Eubric, the Black Knight had barely spoken more than a score of words, and even then, they were only spoken to shop and innkeepers, people with whom conversation could not be avoided unless one wished to go without food or shelter. -
I just wanted to say thanks to Pathaldric, for all the work you put in on the Castle Eurobricks LDraw Models - if I'd had had to build the two smithies digitally in LDraw, I doubt I'd have had the time to make the picture at the end of my Training Room post.

A quiet, but repetitive knocking at the door woke the sleeping Veteran. "Always another Hero to train..." He swung the door open. The grey-cloaked rogue dipped his head. "Might I come in?" "Yes, yes." He stepped aside, letting the rogue pass by him. He yawned. "So...what'll it be? Raider? Assassin?" The rogue bowed, again. "If I might be so bold, as to make a request-" "I don't mean to be rude, but it's late, and I'd like to eventually get some sleep, so if you could just make it, and we could move along?" "Of course, sir." The rogue cleared his throat, and stood up. "I would like to request that I be allowed to go and become a Black Knight while in the company of my family, who are presently camped a short way outside of the city. The Veteran began to speak, but the rogue quickly finished his request before he could. "I have carefully studied and memorized all of the arts, the skills, the movements. If you test me on any of them sir, you will not find me lacking." The Veteran again began to speak, but then paused, and considered the request. He suddenly took a fighting stance, which the rogue instantly followed up with the perfect response. He silently repeated this several more times, until he was satisfied. "Well, you do know the skills - and it is late...But on the other hand, it isn't quite conventional...Aw, Hel, I live in a world where we have projectile missiles but everyone still keeps carrying swords, and there are fully working autonoma, but everyone still riding horses or dragons. Sure, kid - have fun with your family." He yawned. "I, am going to go train myself in the art of...*yawn*...solid sleep..." The rogue bowed again, and silently slipped out of the room, his long grey cape flowing behind him. "Where on Olegia did he steal a cape like that? That was quality...*yawn*...material, that was. Ah, well - I should really talk to Fabian in the morning..." LindEubricBKphoto Later that night, a dark figure slowly walked back up through the streets of Eubric. In their beds, naughty children awoke frightened, as if spooked by an invisible terror, unseen even in nightmare, but all the same, horribly present. But good children, lost far away in dreamland, felt strangely comforted, as if their parents had gently stroked their brow and tucked them in a little tighter.

I only have access to Pixlr at the moment, but if you can PM what you need, I'm pretty sure I can work up something that'll do.

The rogue looked slightly irritated at having his conversation be interrupted, but he nodded politely at the mage. "Master Warlen! How goes it?" Suddenly noticing the Heroes for #122 had been chosen, Lind quickly slid off his stool. "My extreme apologies, everyone, but duties call." He paused, hesitant...and suddenly pecked Annie on the cheek before scurrying out of the room, pausing only to drop his Darker Ethereal Deck in front of the half-demon, and borrow the Level Up Shroom, which he began to shovel into his mouth as the door slammed behind him.

General Discussion and Announcements
Lind Whisperer replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I think that rule is there to make it more like a real-life game of Mafia. In real life, you can't edit something you've spoken out loud. -
It was only mentioned in passing in 58, 59, & 77. 42 had the party headed towards it, but they got into a fight before they reached it.

I'm severely hoping that it's just slow to come out for the US, and will come with the rest of the pirates wave. Severely. *Sends an accusatory look at the 2009 Pirates Advent Calender.*
-
I believe Warlen is using/creating a nickname for Annie, since Annie and Animal have the same opening syllable. Lind hasn't responded because he's waiting for Annie to respond to his last comment.

Fair. Although in that case, I'm not sure why you'd want to graduate from Dragoon, with the potential attack bonuses... Question - what about the "mistrust" aspect? Say I receive my dragon at 30 - no attack problems. Now, at level 50, I switch to Prophet. But at 60, I switch back to Dragoon. I would imagine the mistrust would stay at 0, because of the letter of the rules?
-
I'm not arguing that that's a better solution in practice, but how on earth do you explain away the fact that you're currently carrying around a dragon, and they suddenly aren't doing anything?
-
I'm half tempted to suggest that ex-Dragoons, whether graduated to higher classes or switched, be allowed to keep their Dragons - RP and attack bonuses. After all, it isn't like it's a Advanced Class, where you could just switch by choice whenever you're in the Hall - you have to earn the right to be a Dragoon, through three Shadeux quests. It's not anywhere near a perfect, or even ideal solution, but it'd work until someone came up with a better one.
-
The problem is, how many actions fall under RP, and how many under fighting? That dragon has been fighting with you all along, and now they aren't. Even if you explain that away by saying "Well, they're fighting, we just don't count it," what about when you need to have the dragon carry something, or fly somewhere? I understand that there's a limit to how much "real-world logic" applies, but I really think that this falls fully within that limit.
-
What happens when you advance from Dragoon up to a higher class, like, say, Prophet? Since you're not a Dragoon then, I assume then the Dragon becomes just part of your RP?
-
Is she able to hear anyone's thoughts, or just "spiritually sensitive individuals"?

EDIT: Double posted by mistake.

"Well, you're welcome, but I was just telling the truth," the rogue winked. "So, didn't you have a whole knight-laureate thing going on? How's that been coming? Written any epic epics, or sage sagas?"

Also, the older version of the revolver is more generic, with more connections points, which translates to more potential uses, unlike the LR one, which could only be held/clipped in one place, and only looked like a revolver. Although I still think the bandanna didn't need a new mold - and I'm all for the old one coming back into use - I'm actually not quite as against it, now that I've seen it more in the flesh. LEGO is going to run into problems, though, when they need a generic "head-rag" piece, like they used for the CMF Mechanic, Dengar, etc. I'm afraid I have to disagree with you there - the monkey is a classic staple, with a mold that works perfectly. Don't break what's already working!

Wow...That is a lot of sets...are they all MISB?
