  1. In case you literally don't get it...your weapon's name sounds like a euphemism for male g-...Eh, male "maleness," the certain part of...well, the body, that makes a male...well, "male". I imagine the game ending with all of the then-current Heroes fighting each other in a massive interior war, until only one from each basic class still stands. These remaining six Heroes will then become the new Veterans of Heroica, watching over and guiding a new generation and era of Heroes. Or having Eubric fall into the earth*. That'd work too. *Should that be "fall into the olegia"?
  2. OoC: I believe I should still have my Darker Ethereal Deck, since I rolled Damage. Battle Order: Purpearl Berthadhiell: (Fire) vs. Black Sheep C, Front Row Kiray Nastayo: Sanctified Rito Longsword vs. Black Sheep C, Front Row Siercon (Siercon and Coral): (Fire) vs. Silent Lamb C, Front Row Lind Whisperer: Darker Ethereal Deck vs. Black Sheep C, Back Row Actaeon Artus: Sanctified Rito Bow vs. Silent Lamb A, Back Row Matthias: Restored Fireball Extraordinaire vs Battering Ram B, Back Row OoC: I'm 97.5% sure that we're all fine with auto-rolling that order until either everything is dead, or one of our healths drops below 50%. After I throw my second Deck, I'll switch to the Chaotic Whip.
  3. ^^Agreed. Also, I would like to say that I very much liked the Decamon "Aftermath" picture.
  4. The problem with the Decamodifier is that enemies that can be Decamodified with it are extremely rare. In the entirely (admittedly short) time I've been playing, I can only remember seeing three of them in quests(Battle Ant in the FOG fields, Cloud Gigas and Thunderbird in #120). It's worth the 15 GP it costs, in the chance you do come across an enemy you can card, but just barely.
  5. This is a beautiful example of melding real-life styles and building layouts with LEGO models. The first picture especially - take that out into a sand desert, set it on the ground, and you'd have to look twice before you realized it was LEGO. Excellent work, sir, excellent work!
  6. OoC: Please check your PM...
  7. Excellent. I'm fully behind Scrambler, now. I'm not arguing that it's making it a little more complicated, but that's the fun of it - learning how to play things simply, and then increasing the complexity as you go along.
  8. I'd vote for a maximum of 2 boosters per hand. Just enough to keep it interesting. Of course, I can see reasons for going up to five, but I think that should be the limit. I'd vote against this, at least until after we've seen in action how single booster cards affect games. I was envisioning picking your boosters before the match starts, but not which cards you intend to use them with. You can't use boosters you win mid-play from your opponent, any more than you can use cards. If you play a booster with a card, that booster follows that card. If the opponent wins the card, the opponent wins the booster. If you tie, you keep the booster. If you win, you keep the booster. I really like Standoff, but I'm not sure how Scrambler could be put effectively into play without having to rely on your opponent to be honest(not that I don't trust the other players here, but it's the same issue that came up with playing hands against other players - only amplified).
  9. Excellent suggestion. I agree - there should be a cap to how many additional 'booster' cards you can use.
  10. That's the idea - the Flip Card by itself is a special card, with no value or power. It is played once, in conjunction with any other card, modifying just that card by inverting that card's elemental power. Here's an example hand: It's not a card on its own - you can't play a Flip Card by itself. It's an additional card that you can add to your five cards, that you use to invert any one of the original five cards' elements. If you loose the hand you inverted, you loose the Flip Card also.
  11. How would that work? I'm not trying to shoot it down, I'm honestly curious. Would it have any effects on elemental strength, or just numerically? One other problem I can see, is just how much would it really strengthen anyone's deck? If it automatically loses, that means you have to win three sets(or tie two, win two), just to win. My Flip Card gets around that by being a card you play in addition to the card being played* - perhaps the same would work for the Trickster Card? So, instead of automatically losing your first hand, you either win or lose it normally. *Of course, the Flip Card has it's own problems, namely which elemental strengths get flipped to which...
  12. OoC: Agreed, I move we auto roll until either we win, or a hero drops below 1/2 health. After killing their current targets, Heroes move on to attacking the next highest target, repeat until the battle's over. Also, in the interest of full disclosure, Lind may/will potentially also be leaving the Fields preferably after the current battle*, but no later than the twentieth of January. *Ideally, I'd like to get through one more battle in addition to the current one.
  13. What's wrong with Everything is Awesome? It's no I Work Alone or Nothing's Gonna Stop Us, but other than the line about how allergies are awesome*, it's a perfectly great song. It even emphasizes the lesson that The LEGO Movie itself somewhat mis-taught - the fact that all styles of building are 'awesome'. Sure, some people may glue their bricks, and some of us may not support that - but like nnenn himself taught(by example), it's about having fun, whatever style you build in, whatever way you build in. *They AREN'T.
  14. Being virtual in this case, doesn't actually effect much, if anything. They follow the exact same rules of supply and demand as real life cards* would. Decks, not cards. There was no guarantee that you'd get any one card, just that your hand would only be from one element(and possibly above a certain power, I'd have to double check). *Speaking of real life, I wonder if anyone here knows any card printers? It would be awesome if the QMs started a Kickstarter(or something like one) for a real-world Decamon print run.
  15. They still only release the cards in packs.
  16. ^Of all the specialized parts they've released, why oh why did they never release this one? I mean, I get that it's fairly limited in its use, that only having the one stud could impede even normal uses of it, etc., etc., but think of the star-fighter cockpits that could be built with that...
  17. I was thinking the same thing...
  18. It was fun, but I definitely agree with the others - the holiday slot should be filled with Grogmas. The NPCs should go. With the higher levels, when players were playing against each other, they technically had a slightly better chance because they knew what cards the other player had, even if they didn't know which ones. But with the NPCs, there is no idea of what cards they have or are using. Which is part of the point, I suppose, except that it makes it unquestionably harder to play, and results in quite a few of said NPCs advancing for several brackets, when(I believe) they were originally intended to be a bracket that new players could practice against and possibly win a few cards, before advancing to play against other players. Scubacarrot mentioned the idea of a Joker card. I fully support this idea, and I'd like to propose another: Flip Card - An extremely rare card, that can be played in conjunction with any other card, inverting its elemental immunities and weaknesses.
  19. At 0:09 you can see a model car sprue built out of LEGO - is there any Top Gear specific references in that, or just a reference to the fact that LEGO is also making model cars now(and of course, a chance to show off some clever building)?
  20. Looks great! I don't typically watch YouTube LWGO reviews, but watching ones that you've done is always a pleasure. The animation is consistently of high-quality, the lighting is perfect, and your displays of play functions are all very well done and informative. Normally, this would be the place where I'd add my personal critiques, but I honestly don't have any, nor am I easily coming up with any. This is excellent work!
  21. Does anyone have a decent printer? I'd love to see what the treasure map download looks like shrunken down and printed out small enough to go on a 2 x 2 tile.
  22. Battle Order: Purpearl Berthadhiell: (Fire) vs. Black Sheep A, Front Row Kiray Nastayo: Sanctified Rito Longsword vs. Battering Ram A, Front Row Siercon (Siercon and Coral): (Fire) vs. Silent Lamb B, Front Row Lind Whisperer: Ethereal Deck vs. Black Sheep A, Back Row Actaeon Artus: Sanctified Rito Bow vs. Silent Lamb A, Back Row Matthias: Restored Fireball Extraordinaire vs Battering Ram B, Back Row
  23. I'm seriously thinking Vindicator might be the way to go instead of Dragoon... Dragons are awesome(and I had the perfect one planned, too), but Zweihänder Grip...Wow. 2[Zweihänder Grip](50)(4)+30[Minimum Level] = 430 damage, as compared to 280...
  24. "Good work, everyone! We're all healed, and we're about to win this!" Battle Order: Purpearl Berthadhiell: (Fire) vs. Black Sheep A, Front Row Kiray Nastayo: Sanctified Rito Longsword vs. Battering Ram A, Front Row Siercon (Siercon and Coral): (Fire) vs. Silent Lamb B, Front Row Lind Whisperer: Black Sheep A, Back Row Actaeon Artus: Sanctified Rito Bow vs. Silent Lamb A, Back Row Matthias: Restored Fireball Extraordinaire vs Battering Ram B, Back Row
  25. Excellent point. And done! Although, I just realized that the long post I just typed up had absolutely nothing to do with Munchkin politics...
