  1. Great upgrade of the original build! The wall and tower are suitable imposing from the outside, and there are lots of fun details on the inside like the water well, the pavilion on top of the house, and the brickbuilt palm tree. Also the fact that you were able to fit such detailed interiors and a functioning gate into such small buildings is seriously impressive!
  2. This is incredible! The original was a extremely impressive build, but the new one blows it out of the water! The new water technique looks very nice, each of the staggered layers looks unique but fit together well, and I like the inclusion of the city interior sections at the base.
  3. Nice improvement with the terrain! The story gave me a good chuckle, and I love the deadpan expression, it just adds to the humor
  4. Wow! The pavilion is a huge improvement, I love the roof technique! I also really like the new target design and the figures look very sleek!
  5. Thanks guys! Thanks Grover! I've been building up my supply of cool colored pieces every chance I get to build stuff like this. And I guess that's a major Oops on the bard, I didn't realize violins were played the opposite way . Yea the beers are from EclipseGrafx, I saw them at Brickfair at just had to get a few. Thanks Zoth! Thanks Gideon! I was really happy with the blue and tan building, I was almost considering taking it out of this build and making it into it's own larger building.
  6. I love the humor with the out of control gull problem The round jade colored tower is really nice, and I love the rockwork with the shark emerging. The large, angled boulder style rockworks looks really nice!
  7. Great build! I'm really enjoying seeing people cover all the different sections of Cedrica, it makes sense that the capital would have a thriving port. The brick built cargo ship looks great, and like W Navarre mentioned, I really like the first picture, it really shows off all the different colored tudor sections jutting out at different heights and angles. I do have one suggestion for future tudor buildings, I think they would look better with some sort of offset. For example having the wooden beams stick out 1 plate further, or setting the inner parts in with a jumper plate. I think it adds a lot texture rather than having it all at the same level. Also nice work on the interior ( The port master seems a little grumpy though )
  8. I love how fantastical this is! Really cool style of build!
  9. Great scene! Its unusual to see a build sloped like this, it works really well! I like the jagged snowy cliffside and the rocks below.
  10. That frozen hut is top notch! The wooden texturing is great, and I love the a-symmetrical design. The frozen landscape is also phenomenal!
  11. I love the scenery of simon just wading through the swamp. He looks a little unhappy . Nice work on the brick built frog and the mosaic, and fun story!
  12. This is fantastic! The tan building especially stands out to me, it has lots of details I really like such as the upside down cones used in the bottom arches, the half stud offset that looks really nice, and the transition to the wooden section, which I think looks super cool! I also like the brick built boat, the windowsill/ flower holders ( what piece is that?) , and the funny details like the monkey hanging from the tree
  13. As others have mentioned, that floor technique is excellent!
  14. Great upgrade! I like how you used the molded tree piece as the peak of the brickbuilt tree, it works really well! I also like the addition of the stone path.
  15. Dan takes a trip to Cedrica for the first time, and spends some time exploring the glorious capital of Historica ( and enjoying the food and beer too!) Throughout this section of the city are several buildings and shops, such as a herbalist, a shop that sells glassware/cups, a dwarf from Mitgardia serving the finest ales, a food merchant, and a outpost of the city watch. Here is the interior of the glassware shop: There is also a small interior in the guardhouse with some spears and supplies and such, but I forgot to take a picture of it I also spent alot of time incorporating lights into this build and running wires throughout, and I'm pretty happy with the result!
  16. Here is my entry for Cat C
  17. Sheepsville is a small hamlet located in Mitgardia. Despite being small and isolated, it is well known for its thriving sheep trading industry and is an exporter of sheep to all parts of Historica. Today Dan is visiting Sheepsville in an ambassadorial role, meeting with the village headwoman and discussing trade agreements for Avalonia. Nearby, some of the locals are wrangling up some of the sheep that have gone a little wild. “Hey! How’d ya end up over there!?” Here are some additional detail pictures:
  18. Woah! So much to look at! All the buildings are great, but the eye catching part is definitely the shield roof on the main longhouse. And the huge viking ship, that moves!!!! I also like that the scene is bustling with viking figures, really makes it feel like a populous village.
  19. Great use of the bionicle parts for the serpent head, and I like the scaly underbelly created with cheese slopes, as Kai mentioned.
  20. Excellent monsters from both of you! The head of the snake using those bionicle parts turned out great! And the angler is just superb! I love compact, smaller creature builds like this that are full of detail!
  21. I love your style of building, its instantly recognizable! The crazy curved and angled tudor woodwork on the sides are great!
  22. You don't really get a sense of how big this must be till you look closely! Its really cool to see something built at this scale, and have it end up looking great! The different angled sections of the chest and the hair stand out as some of the best sections.
  23. Wow! The whole scene is just full of great details! Some favorites are the various window techniques, the triangle road sign woodwork, and the inverted brown slopes incorporated into the wall for angled tudor sections. I'm also intrigued that you guys incorporated aqua into the white snow section, I usually only do that by accident but it looks great here!
  24. Very nice library! The wooden bookshelves and railing are great details, and I really like how you created the effect of bricks in the wall by using tiles among the plates.
