A trio of Avalonian soldiers return to Araluen from Kaliphalin, where they were stationed during the civil war. Now that the fighting has died down and their captain has recovered from the attempt on his life they finally made their way back home to the vast forests of Avalonia. Nearby, a trio of Araluen town guardsmen explore the underground network of tunnels left by the Drow and Dwarves. They have been tasked with exploring and mapping out the tunnel systems near Araluen so that they can be used by the Avalonian. Neither the guards or the makers of these tunnels ever realized how close they came to finding the resting place of a magnificent ancient beast. Here is a shot of the tunnel from the other side Notes: All the underground scenes in these builds were built about a year ago, and i had planned to put my Task 5 castle on top( All the builds are connected, with the tunnel on the left, the forest in the middle, and the bones on the left), but then i lost interest in it and it sat around for a long time, until i eventually decided that the castle wasn't up to my standards anymore, so I tore it down( I really,really needed the pieces). I kept the underground scenes since I liked them, and I tried to come up with a use for it for a while, but recently I decided to just photograph the good parts as separate builds. I also built the forest scene in the middle in another attempt to finish the whole scene, but quickly gave up and decided to only make a small scene with it. C & C welcome

Location: E03 Tags: land vehicle, military, building Once again Dan is on E03, acting to overturn Octan's control there, and hiding out from his MANTIS bosses. This week he has constructed a remote control hover tank, equipped with a heavy missile launcher and 2 dual laser cannons. The tank has heavy armor and is kept in the air by 4 next generation hover engines. Dan is currently testing it on some a Octan mini speeder. Dan controls the hover tank from a communications base. ( The base is an old weekly build and should not be judged) Unfortunately for Dan, MANTIS does not officially condone his actions and has labeled him a rouge agent after he ignored a direct order from the CEO to move his operation to a different planet. After it became clear that Dan had no intention to comply with their orders MANTIS command sent out an Assault team to locate him and "escort" him back to MANTIS space. Once he had returned to MANTIS HQ, Dan was then sent to CEO Big Sal's office , to account for his rouge actions... Thanks everyone for your comments! Thanks! I didn't notice that the ears were switched until you pointed out, I must have switched them by accident at some point Thanks! The "strange lighting" was not really intentional, it is because I took it outdoors in the evening. It was really windy out and I was having trouble keeping the sheet from blowing away. The blue tint happens when I take my pictures outdoors. I improved it a little bit by brightening the pictures, but you can only brighten them so much before it starts looking bad. It was very windy outside when I was taking these pictures, so I wasn't able to take to many pictures( the background kept being blown around)

I finally have a new freebuild. Its my first castle build since the Kali civil war! Im glad to be back!

Boneville town square / Lord Dan / Avalonia Life in Araluen / Lord Dan / Avalonia

Previously Preparing for Trouble Visiting Allies Into Nocturnus Entrance of Boneville Mage has finally completed his journey and reached the Nocturnian village of Boneville.In the town square he meets the Shadowmere ambassador and discusses the possibility of an alliance between Shadowmere and Araluen. The town square: The monument in the center of the village depicts a scene from ancient times where an unnamed skeleton hero defeated the evil wizard that ruled this land and later founded the village of Bonevile, which was named in his honor. The town square houses a bustling marketplace full of shops, including this Used weapons shop shown below. A guard watches from the walkway I would like to claim the following UoP/DoH credits: Landscape design- studs up rocks and cliffs Anthropology- life in Nocturnus C & c appreciated.

Location:E03 Tags: Land vehicles, military After his initial assault on Octan forces last week, Dan has been laying low on E03, hiding from both Octan forces and his MANTIS superiors, who claim he has "gone rouge" ( apparently trashing expensive Octan equipment on a random planet is not considered an acceptable use of MANTIS resources). Today Dan decided to go for a spin on his new speeder... Unfortunately he ran into an Octan patrol, and apparently they were still mad at him for destroying their mech last week... If we are still talking about sets, I found a pretty neat Octan polybag today at Target. I bought two of them for $3.99 each and I really liked it. It has a nice new Octan fig, and it also comes with a ray gun and metal fist thing ( they are both part of the car) and all the pieces are in Octan colors. Overall it is a pretty small but very useful set for Octan players

Are you referring to Star Wars sets, or the movies/ story? Also what's bad about the Star Wars thread and how is this this thread leaning towards it?

Location: E03 Tags: military, land vehicle This week Dan decided to head to E03, to further MANTIS domination there. While testing out his newest invention, a powerful combat mech he ran into some Octan forces, so he decided to see just how well the mech preformed in combat... The Octan mech, piloted by an Octan robot and armed with a chainsaw and a Kragle cannon. The MANTIS mech, armed with laser cannons and rocket launchers. I have a question. For ground tactics you need to have a land vehicle in your build, but does that vehicle have to be from your corporation? ex: If I build MANTIS forces attacking a Kawashita or Octan land vehicle do I still get the bonus, or does the land vehicle need to be a MANTIS vehicle?

Dan has a silver armor plate, a chrome broadsword, dark green cape, sand green arms and legs, a circular dark bley shield( like the ones in the chima battle packs, and a crime radar dish. The head is either any head inside the helmet, which is a dark green helmet with an old grey visor( it can be a bley or pearl grey one too, I just use old grey since it's all I have) and a white plume( optional). Alternatively his head is a yellow smiley face, but with light eyebrows and pupils, and a standard blond hairpiece. It easier to just show rather than describe

That's ok. You can use blue crownies as your troops( as a regional color) , just try to have the Avalonian colors( sand and dark green) somewhere, preferably on your flags or standards( these don't have to be the standard flag piece, it can also be brick built as well. It nice to see new recruits for Avalonia!

Fantastic build Kai!! This is Definately one of my favorite builds from you! The whole scene is looks awesome, but the plants really stand out!

Dan is currently traveling as a passenger aboard a MANTIS cargo frigate headed to A06. The ship is empty right now,and without cargo it just looks like a large metal frame. When the cargo is loaded it is put in large, vacuum proof containers which are then magnetically secured to the metal beams that make up the frame of the ship. Heres a close up shot of the command module and the secondary engines. I didn't have much time this week, so this is all that I managed to come up with. C and C are appreciated
