Great tree, I love how the face is formed! However, it is quite disturbing that so much of Kaliphlin is being overrun by Nocturnus. After the Desert King finishes dealing with those who oppose his rule he may have have to start returning Kaliphlin to its rightful state and by cleansing it . After all as the King of Kaliphlin he wouldn't want his his people to have to suffer living in a sandy copy of the darklands ;)

Great build, the orphanage building in particular looks wonderful! Is this against the HC or U? It says U in the title but HC in the Cat C thread

Some of the elves who remained loyal to the Desert King hunt down their treacherous brethren. They discover a powerful sorceress ensnared in one of their magical traps, a harmless looking circle of stones on the ground. But when an intruder walks into the circle it sets off a magic spell, in this case growing a thicket of thorns to trap and hold the victim until the loyal elves can arive and take out the traitors with stunning magic spells and arrows dipped in a sedative.

As Xersia (some random city that was apparently attacked by the DK) burns and falls to the Desert King forces some of the Ulandian officers and wealthy citizens try to escape by sea, leaving behind their allies in a mad rush to esape to the next square. Unfortunately for them the Desert King had been expecting this and ships were stationed outside of the harbor to hunt down the fleeing Ulandians. Also the water shifts from dark to light but its hard to see There is also kind of a street system in the city( light bley= roads) but Its only really visible in a birds eye view C and C appreciated EDIT: I guess this has to be moved so now it will be at M18, not O18

This is a gorgeous build! The interior and walls are fantastic, and the landscaping is very nice aswell. However, I do not really approve of the fact that this same build was reused 3 different times. I tolerate it when people reuse a build twice because I understand that they build for things other than GoH, but I feel that using it for 3 seperate things is stretching it.

Since Hacob has said he doesn't want to be the harnesser of the Great Light my vote goes to Robuko ( Tht floor is crazy!)

Thanks! I actually built the droid, speeder and clones a few months ago, but was struggling to take good pictures and was busy with GoH so I never posted them, which turned out well when this contest was started. I'm really happy with the assassin droid as well :)

The Desert King's forces were not told where they were going, only to assemble in the middle of the night, ready for battle. They did as they were told, and found a Stranger waiting for them, ready to use his magic to take them to into their enemies greatest stronghold , the mighty city of Xersia. One minute they were in the middle of the desert, and then there was a bright light and they suddenly found themselves in the middle of a beautiful city, with a battle raging all around them. However the true target of this attack was not down in the streets, but on the top of a large building with elegant designs on its sides. The stranger brought the leader of these fire Mages to the roof of this building, and after dealing with the guards he set about destroying this source of the first centurions power By the end of the night Xersia was ablaze, and the Desert King Forces had routed the Ulandians Flickr or my phone( probably both) is being a Megablox and keeps reloading the page when I try to grab the Picture so here is the link instead https://www.flickr.c.../in/dateposted/ Got it using the computer Heres a picture of the inside of the main building Nktes: This is the largest build I have ever made, and I am very pleased with how it turned out. However I wish I had more time since I would have liked to add microscale buildings burning i the background and would have added more detail to the street but I ran out of time. Also the night scene is part of this build, it is inside the large building( there is a picture of the inside on my photostream)

Great build! But luckily for your musicians that is not the real Desert King, only a imposter! As your foolish musicians should have realized the Desert King is safe inside the Kaliegm( as said in the prequels the main base of operations has shifted from Sultans Gate to Kaliegm)

Thanks! I definately agree that LEGO would not use most of the techniques and would never release the set as it is. I was worried about this before but after I saw that MKJA said it could be something that LEGO would not produce I figured I would give it a shot. That is why I tried to have the set geared towards AFOL's , who would prefer the advanced detail and techniques over the playability.

Wait so if I just want to build for this from time to time and don't really feel like joining a corporation then I can build alien builds without joining?

Take on the Separatists with this advanced squad of clone Bomb squad troopers! Watch out for the assassin droid guarding the bombs! -Includes 3 clone bomb squad Minifigures as well as an assassin droid! - Take down the droid using the cannon, which actually fires! -Pilot the speeder and take on the Separatists! -Open the back of the speeder to access the equipment! - Figures include accessories such as scanner and bomb. -Set includes speeder, cannon & ammunition, crates& spare weapons, and legs for the pilot! Note: This set is designed with AFOL's in mind, and as such focuses more on detail than on playability( Although I tried to add some) and is would likely appeal more to AFOL's and TFOl's than LEGO's regular consumers The Speeder The figures Play Features: Firing Cannon Opening Compartment Don't worry, the set( speeder + cannon+ crates/weapons + pants for the pilot) is exactly 100 pieces. All the figs( eve the droid) are under 30 pieces each. Also I'm sorry that there are so many pictures, I wish I could do the spoiler thing but I've never been able to find the button for it. C and C appreciated Also Id like to mention that the speeder is supposed to be a cross between a regular speeder bike and a BARC speeder

Thanks everyone! :) I'm DONT think it's obvious in the main picture but some of the snow is at an angle in addition to the 90 degrees snot stuff Thanks! I tried to make the flags seem torn and beaten like you would see on a battlefield after a battle.
