Thanks everybody for all the comments! It is held by just putting the minifig hand inbetween the droid arms and then pushing them together so it stays. It is actually pretty sturdy, but it is a little limited in which positions it can be held in.

Great build brickcurve! I really like the wall/ upper layer part, I like how it switches back and forth from grey to tan and brown, it ends up looking really cool. I'm not entirely sold on the second layer, the ground and the table seem very plain in comparison to the wall there and the top layer.

Well it seems to be almost a focus point in the middle and it doesn't hurt that its really cleverly built. Great work overall on the build, I am kind of conflicted on having so many different colors but that seems to be a staple of your building style, and in this case it works out looking very well!

Deep in one of the many caverns of the Rakath mountains, an ancient Demon warlord has awoken. Now he prepares to venture forth into the world once more, and wreak destruction with his fearsome might and his burning magics on any who dare threaten Nocturnus! This started as a little figbarf, but then i decided to make a scene for him. I hope you enjoy! C and C appreciated.

I have a few thoughts/ ideas for the poster. First, maybe you should try to limit it to only a few( around 1 or 2 or maybe 3) builds maximum per person, so that there is more of a variety of styles and representations than just like the top 10 or 15 builders in GoH.Also, it might be a good idea to includes one or two smaller/ more mediocre builds (like still really good builds, just not insane crazy awesome builds) so that people who think about joining are not completely intimidated. Anyway these were just some thoughts I had, and I will nominate some builds later. Intrigued by intrigue Big Battle Bambi Defending the Coast And the Heavens Shall Tremble The Discovery of Nalderic The Stargazer Mountain Bobsled Racing Stopping the Cold Kaliphlin Outpost Abyssian (couldn't find the link) I will probably add more later

Really awesome interior! I really like the texturing on the walls. The one possible suggestion/ idea I have is that maybe the floor could have some texturing, similar to the wall. I wonder if it would be more fitting to have more texture to match the walls, because it seems slightly strange that the walls are so heavily eroded while the floor looks pristine. However this is just a thought, I do really like how it looks now with the cheese mosaics and I'm not sure if texturing the floor would actually look good( since it might mess up the symmetrical feel of the throne room), but I just thought I would share the idea.

This is a fantastic build Titus! I really like that first picture, it just looks great and in my opinion the other side of the build just doesn't look quite as cool. This is probably my favorite build from you( I feel like I say that a lot when I see your newest builds). For some reason I noticed a ton of little things that I feel like nitpicking. I feel like you should put black cheese slopes on the roof where the opening is because the studs look a little out of place to me ( although I can understand that might make it harder to see the interior). Also I think it's strange that the overhang roof on the side has studs but the roof doesn't, so it looks a little strange. Also the rocks on the left side look incomplete because the border keeps going but the rocks end, so it looks a little strange, at least to me. Also on the bed I feel like the pillows should be higher than the covers, right? Anyway these are all really minor things, overall the build is awesome! Oh yeah also that path on the side through the rocks looks fantastic, it's probably me favorite part!

Sweet build! The landscape is great, and this is also a really cool idea. I bet those ants were a pain to position like that!

Fantastic build SK! The landscape is gorgeous, it is definitely one of my favorite landscapes from you! I love the premise behind it too, it's a really original idea for the barracks.- 34 replies

Book II - Avalonia: Guild sign-up and Discussion
LordDan replied to Rogue Angel's topic in Guilds of Historica
1. I am still around, I usually usually check in almost every day, although sometimes it drops to only once a week when I'm busy. 2. I'm working on some builds for GoH. Right now I've got a few builds going that I'm trying to finish up, one for Avalonia and one in Kaliphlin. 3. Here is my Flickr 4. I've only completed task 1 and 2 ( and I probably should update both at some point because they are way out of date). I have participated in the Mount Up mini challenge, Book II Challenge III and IV, and the Frozen Beyond mini challenge. -
Awesome build LJ, all those various patterns and architectural styling look great! These is so much great details packed into the walls!

Sweet build Titus, probably one of my favorites from you. That rockwork looks awesome and the castle is great too!

Beautiful scene ME! It's good to see you building in Avalonia again

A powerful and mysterious mage who fought in many battles during the civil war travels towards Sultan's Gate with his newly trained dragon to fight for the Desert King once more. This is for Ska's mini challenge.

Awesome build! These trees of yours are fantastic, they are so natural. In most Mocs the trees are just the background but in this it is the centerpiece of the build!

Fantastic build! It is a perfect depiction of Petera!

Contest! The Frozen Beyond, Results are in!
LordDan replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Guilds of Historica
Well if that were the case, we could always split it evenly in half, so you could have the box and instructions and I could have all the pieces ;p But seriously I don't think its too big a deal since Eccs will probably clear it up soon. -
Contest! The Frozen Beyond, Results are in!
LordDan replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Guilds of Historica
Congrats everyone! This was a really fun contest! I have a question. Are Exterius and I tied for third, or did he get third and me fourth and we both moved up one because Gideon won Cat A? -
A: Gideon 1, Kai NRG 1, Captain Flint 1 B: Gideon 1, Blufiji 1, Garmadon 1 C: Jacob Nion 1, Little John 1, Simon S 1 Also I want to mention that this was REALLY hard to choose. I mean people ( Including myself) say that almost every time there is a contest, but this is probably the first time I actually spent a lot of time trying to decide between some entries.

Fanstastic castle SK! Also it's really cool how you always find new ways to include an interior! It will be cool to see this in all the seasons!

Book II - Nocturnus: Guild sign-up and Discussion
LordDan replied to ZCerberus's topic in Guilds of Historica
Well, let's not be too hasty and create a new enemy. Although the Drow are certainly not to be fully trusted, let us see what side they choose before completely alienating them ( but be sure never to let your guard down) -
Fantastic build Blufiji! The tower looks really nice, and the lavender works surprisingly well! It's great to have you building in our wonderful guild! My one nitpick is that the pictures are very dark. I took the liberty of editing the first shot, increasing the exposure and messing with the temperature and saturation a tiny bit.
