Thanks guys! No, I have always wanted to start doing UoP stuff but I kept putting it off. I guess now is as good as ever to start, so I edited the post to ask for those claims.

Book II - Kaliphlin: Guild sign-up and Discussion
LordDan replied to SkaForHire's topic in Guilds of Historica
How'd that work for you before the king of Historica went missing? -
Beautiful work! I'm suprised that you did not use this as part of your catagory B entry!

Great build and story! I am shocked at Fenrir's betrayal, wasn't he one of your original characters when you joined? Also I am angered by Ravaage's claims, he has no right to offer you land belonging to Avalonia ( Although I am sure we would gladly allow you to have the land anyway since you have frequently been a great ally to members of Avalonia)!

Umm apparently you did not read this http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=83406#entry1666718 Ravage planed to enslave all of Historica with an undead army. He is a threat to every guild and every person living in historica! -
Book II - Kaliphlin: Guild sign-up and Discussion

Atritious Rex is not the current leader of Avalonia! Lords Simion S and de Gothia are. Also the Desert King has killed ALL the drow in Kaliphlin already, so he has made it clear that he is their enemy -
Book II - Kaliphlin: Guild sign-up and Discussion
LordDan replied to SkaForHire's topic in Guilds of Historica
Really though, the Desert King isn't even close to being as bad as Ravage, despite what you Kaliphalites think. Ravage is evil, plans to conquer all of Historica, cares nothing for the people, and is leads the Hand of Corruption and the drow, two of the cruelest, evilist grous in Historica. On the other hand, we have the Desert King. Although some of his forces ( aka Jacob Nion) have been known to use ruthless methods, his goal is not to oppress his loyal citizens, and has done many things good thing for His people, such as stopping slavery http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=109762#entry2228763 giving medial aid to both his allies and enemies http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=109575#entry2224164 giving bread to the people http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=109321#entry2218265 feeding the hungry http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=109098#entry2212651 offering help http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=109049 allowing his people religious freedom http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=107407 Defending citizens from lawless bandits http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=107596 Handing out food http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=108397&st=0 setting up an orphanage http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=109839 and probably many more things that Missed. On the other hand, the other 2 factions don't seem to be doing nearly as much for the citizens ( Im not counting fighting for them since all 3 faction are doing this). And at the other extreme is Ravage, who does nothing for his citizens but murder and kill them! Now who do you think is better, Ravage or the Desert King? -
The judging system of 1-7 points already takes care of this issue. If a team is larger but they are building all fig on a plate builds they will only earn 1 or 2 points per build. Say a team has 30 members and 1/2 of them get 1 point and the other half get 2 points. This large fig on a plate team will only earn 45 points. However a team 1/2 the size ( 15 people) with the most talented builders would still beat them. For this example, say the smaller team earned a total of 70 points ( 7 fours, 7 fives, and 1 six point build). The smaller team would dominate! Realistically the scores on both teams would be far more varied, since there are builders of all skills on every team. But the main point of the example was to show that the size of the team doesn't matter, its the skill of its builders I am very irritated that people keep saying that there is something wrong with last minute entries. Sometimes it takes an ENTIRE WEEK to make a good MOC, and it should not be frowned upon if builders work their @$$ of at the last minute to finish a build before the deadline.

How is he an imposter of a mummy? To my knowledge he hasn't pretended to be a mummy ;) -
Maybe this argument should take place somewhere where Octan can't spy on everything ( like a PM chat)

Are there any updates on when the public voting is going to be up, since It's already been a week and a half?

Thanks! The visor was added towards the end but I'm really happy with how it turned out. It Is supposed to be a heads up display, although the blast shield also has a display on it. Thanks LJ! The seat was the first part of the build, since the whole build is basically connected by the minifigures. Thanks Graham! Thanks! Unfortunately I think Dan was the only one who actually thought it was going to be used for mining...

Great build LV! It's nice to see the story continuing, I can wait for more! :) I think the fact that pretty much everyone in this build is undead also makes it pretty clear that this is set in Nocty :)

Wow that base has a LOT of guns, especially considering your not at war( not yet at least) Nice work!

This is a prototype "mining" device designed by Dan for M.A.N.T.I.S. which is currently being tested in a M.A.N.T.I.S base. It works by blasting "rocks" into smithereens . For some reason Dan can't quite figure out his superiors seem more intrested in effect on metal and organics than rocks. He doesn't understand their logic: after all what other possible use could M.A.N.T.I.S have for a highly destructive energy projectile device? Heres some more pictures [

Engineer Dan is here to sign up with M.A.N.T.I.S. ( wow that really is a pain to type with periods between each letter) I have been planning to join for a while, so I already have several ideas, such as this M.A.N.T.I.S trooper or this one and I have also build a mosaic image of our logo
-
Thanks! I just fixed the picture too, it was a bit too dark before

Engineer Dan is here to sign up with M.A.N.T.I.S. ( Sorry the picture is not 100 by 100, it is 78 by 100 because there was no option for 100 by 100)

Nice farm! The burnt out house looks really cool! -
Just do Episode 3 Anakin. I really want to see this now... Unfortunately for me the only Marvel fig I have available is Iron Man. I was thinking about Iron Man vs Boba Fett ( because they both have awesome suits of armor build in weapons and they can both fly.
