The Lego Movie 2 - The Second Part 2019 Set Discussion
Vindicare replied to Fenghuang0296's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Looking at the videos from the LEGO House of the sets, I’m really hoping that other section of Apocalypseburg becomes reality. Otherwise, I may have to finally MOC something for real...I would love to see more from the ‘Burg. -
This is great. I love the posing you did here, and that face is incredible. The eyes are mesmerizing. Well done!

@Aegis2000 Awesome shots! I’m eagerly awaiting my pack. I like the shot inside the Sanctum.

That looks great...and delicious! I love waffles too, and that looks good enough to eat.

[PRESS RELEASE] 10265 - Ford Mustang Creator Expert
Vindicare replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Just finished building this. I’m truly amazed. Sadly I only own the T1 Camper Van, so I can’t really compare it to the more recent cars. They knocked it out of the park with this build. It looks fantastic, the details are spot on. I’m using the two spoilers on mine, snaps the blower/pipes. I love the P51 plate as well, great extra touch. -
Wanna get nuts?...Let’s get nuts! Because that’s exactly what I did with this purchase... 70620 Ninjago City 70657 Ninjago City Docks 70840 Welcome to Apocalypseburg! 10265 Ford Mustang ...never to be seen again.

This is fantastic! I’m not much for the Architecture theme...not enough to buy anyways. I would instantly buy this, however. I really like the Knight Bus section.

For how long will the LEGO company exist?
Vindicare replied to Lego David's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Yeah, I heard recently they’re releasing a wheelchair one & one with a prosthetic. Reinventing. Which LEGO has done recently as well, namely with Friends. So long as the company sticks, and it sells like Friends has, TLG will be around for quite some time. -
I never did get around to buying it, but I did want it & be never watched the show. It looked like a great set & cool build. The pop culture factor definitely helped my wanting it.

Catchy Song. ALL. THE. TIME.

I’m with you. I keep going back & forth on wanting to & not. Light My Bricks is a pretty cool option, especially if you have Modulars. I went to a plastic models/train show a few years back & they had some good options for lights. You should look & see if there’s any happening in the near future where you are.

The threads definitely seem more like personal gripes than actual criticism. They do make for good & interesting discussions, from all sides. Reading this thread I of course went to thinking of Mattel -Barbie & Hot Wheels- and how LEGO now sits shoulder to shoulder with them in brand recognition. Then I see you say that about Barbie, so I looked it up. Last year they saw a 12% jump in sales in the second quarter, it being their third straight gain. The figure came from a Bloomberg article from last July. I didn’t look at the state of Barbie prior to, but it’s selling now. -
Looks fantastic. I used to play 40K years & years ago...still have my armies. You captured everything about a Dreadnought perfectly.

A couple of good updates! Those food ideas for the next competition sound very specific... A nice looking ambulance there too. I like the “rolled up” back canopy. Creative.

Haha, that makes the build even better!

[MOC] Nexo Knights -- Aaron's Club Absinthe
Vindicare replied to Grey Magistrate's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Great builds & a fun story! The little stable is very cool. I dig the bar & piano as well. -
Definitely. I have my eyes on the graveyard set to go with the Haunted House. The Diner will be fun too(but looks to be better suited to go with Welcome to Apocalypseburg). Of course the school will be a huge hit.

$7?! Sheesh. You must live in there to find all the great deals you do.
-
Interesting, but cool, concept. I love the leg build...looks like it was quite the mech before it got turmed into a bathtub.

They could just bring the promotion in house. They offered 3 of the 4 packs on S@H(and in store of course) here in the States. Generally, I think that would work out best. I would love that, preferring the smaller price point sets. That way they could really expand & build Diagon Alley.

Building for yourself is the best way to go. Having people like your stuff is a bonus. Just make a separate thread here in the Town forum & link those pictures & others showing what you’ve done.

Agreed. It’s a great little ship, a fun build. It’s very sturdy as well.
