  1. I’ll second this, although the easiest for me isn’t the Emmet construct-a-thing. Target has way too many. I was lucky enough to still get the Rex polybag on March 1st in store. That sucks we aren’t getting an exclusive minifig here though.
  2. I guess this means no minifig with it...bummer.
  3. This is pretty great. You used the baseplate brilliantly. I really like the deck surrounding the pool & all the foliage lining the house. Packed a lot into such a restrictive space.
  4. Pretty excited for these, definitely getting Uncle Scrooge & the nephews, Chip & Dale, Jafar & Jasmine, and Jack & Sally. Might get Elsa & Anna as well.
  5. These are fantastic. People might put two & two together with the Wayne Industries car though...
  6. The only one I’m dreaming of is a 1x1 masonry brick for the corners.
  7. Never heard of this thing...it’s certainly interesting. You did a great job capturing its likeness. The arms could be a bit more streamlined...maybe using snot bricks on the fuselage & the 1x2 with that click hinge connection to make them closer in like the “real” thing.
  8. Just finished building D.Va & Reinhardt...they are some of the best official mech builds I’ve seen. It’s hard to say which one I like more, as they’re both great. I built D.Va first, as I really like the shape & form of her mech, but then I built Reinhardt & it’s equally fantastic. I also have Hanzo vs. Genji & Dorado Showdown. I have no real clue who these people are, but they sure look great as minifigures.
  9. While browsing the Marvel thread, it seems GameStop has & is giving out both Iron Patriot & Silver Centurion...it looks like some kind of collection is the reason behind it. I’m not paying it much mind because I already have both. May want to check if you have any nearby.
  10. Marvel did do a lot of hyping the Skrulls on the comic side leading up to the movie’s release. They had quite a lot of variant c era leading up to it, moreso than I remember in the past. We definitely haven’t seen the last of them. I like your theory, we’ll see how/if that pans out soon.
  11. I certainly hope not, I think they have a real hit on their hands. Personally, I rank all three(up until this sequel came out) of their movies at the number one spot, but for various reasons. The first was a mix of the new & the nostalgia of seeing “LEGO bricks” on the big screen. Batman was good for laughs & all of those villains. And of course, Batman. Ninjago was by far the funniest of all of them, it had great quotable moments. My favorites are Garmadork & the dork squad & the whole “little bit” sequence. I can’t not say, more often than not to myself, a little bit whenever I hear someone say that. I don’t understand the negativity surrounding that movie, or AFOL’s who simply never saw it. Clearly my opinion on the movies is heavily skewed by my obsession. I never see movies opening weekend anymore...except when these come out.
  12. I completely disagree with that articles opinion that the big theatrical releases aren’t that much different to the DVD releases. Granted I’m not the audience he was likely talking about, but even casual movie goers can see there is a vast difference in just looks alone. I haven’t seen all of the DVD movies, but the ones I have seen aren’t anything special or something that I would rewatch.
  13. 70827 Ultrakatty & Warrior Lucy! 70831 Emmet’s Dream House/Recue Rocket! 75972 Dorado Showdown 75973 D. Va & Reinhardt
  14. Okay good, so I’m not crazy. At least not entirely...I did buy Ultrakatty & Warrior Lucy tonight, we’ll see if those mystery pieces get solved.
  15. Honestly...I’m not ready for this. Knowing at Evans’ contract is done, I fear for what’s going to happen to him. I cannot wait for this movie though. The 11 year build up will largely come to a head. I liked the look backs at Iron Man, Cap, and Thor’s movies...but that made it feel like the end of an era. Which, I suppose it kinda is. Not sure how much feel about the matching outfits...but we’ll see how they work. Bring on the sets already!
  16. 60202 People Pack- Outdoor Adventures Jessica Cruz polybag
  17. Ooh, good thought, maybe that’s it. Just checked the back of the instructions but there is no mention of it on the page that shows the combination. That definitely sounds plausible though.
  18. 70829 Emmet and Lucy’s Escape Buggy 75893 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon and 1970 Dodge Charger R/T aaannnddd....Marvel Bricktober pack!
  19. So I just finished building 70829 Emmet and Lucy’s Escape Buggy & have an odd selection of extra parts from bags 4. A 1x1 Red plate with clip, 1x2 dark grey jumper plate, that newish brown 1x1 rounded hinge, & the underside 1x1 dark grey slope pieces, one of each(having issues with logging into Flickr so no pictures...). I triple checked the instructions & haven’t missed anything. Anyone else have these extras? edit...I loaded a picture to my Flickr(hopefully), link below.

    Haul

Congratulations! That looks like a great one. A moon made from cheese...slopes?
  21. Saw Captain Marvel.... Overall, I really liked it. Judging it against Wonder Woman however, it falls short on excitement...and I’m a Marvel fanboy first.
  22. Captain Marvel...was a bit slow early on, but picked up nicely. I really liked it overall.
  23. Damn...the emotion here is heart wrenching! What is this plastic toy doing to me?!
  24. This is fantastic. The scenes are great & packed full of details. Love the sticker use as well, really adds to the scenes. That tv scene is wild! The connections. Looks like it might be scrambling his brains.
  25. @BrickWild If you’re going for accuracy, the amber lights shouldn’t be there. The taillights are all red.
