  1. Harry Potter isn’t just another movie, though. Wizarding World opened in Hollywood’s Universal Studios a little over three years ago. Which would’ve been five years after the franchise ended. I highly doubt they would’ve spent all that money & space on something unless they knew it would be a hit. Plus, even without new movies, those kids who fell in love with HP from the books are introducing their kids to him. I don’t see this being risky at all.
  2. I don’t know I missed these...they are great! You really captured the images perfectly or as close as one can get using LEGO bricks. All are easily recognizable to their source.
  3. First things first...my goodness that is a lot of trans rounds.... What a great build! I love the sinking ship with all its strewn cargo. Fantastic scene.
  4. Definitely. Especially at the price point it is, it’s fantastic. The only thing I’d like to see would be more Death Eaters(as everyone else here), given that the scene had...what, 5? I don’t imagine those will go cheap for n the secondary market.
  5. This is great. The head is awesome looking & quite menacing. Pretty interesting way you built the body.
  6. Haha, this is fantastic! Best use of a hamster I’ve seen. Poor King’s Landing, they didn’t know what hit them. The cuteness...
  7. Very true...I’d even put Ginny in there, to a lesser extent. Lockhart was pretty prominent much like Umbridge(and they probably had an equal number of costume changes). LEGO likes keeping us die hardship guessing I suppose... Also, I don’t recall seeing this mentioned, but Hermione in the Calendar has an exclusive torso. Dean’s scarf goes onto his leg.
  8. Given how they’ve made the rooms so far, making a pink office will prove difficult, but a kitten themed printed plate or two would be fantastic. That was easier to excuse his absence since he was a CMF, I’d imagine. The Bricktober pack wasn’t nearly as easy to find. Fair point though.
  9. I too gave McGonagall the braided hairpiece, using the extra one from the Fountain GWP from a few years back. The second option for the Patil twins looks better I think. I’m not much for making my own minifigs...but I do have a case of HP CMF’s that are just sitting there, so it is tempting.
  10. I’m watching OotP as I type...so I’ll be refreshed on her appearances. I’m betting regardless of which part of Hogwarts we get next, she’ll be thrown in there, as that’s where her moments took place. I think I’d like to see her office most, as it would be a fun departure from the usual rooms we’ve gotten in the Castle thus far. Or a classroom that resembles DADA, since one of her other finer moments took place in the Great Hall.
  11. Visiting a nearby town I drove down a way one, one lane road with parking on both sides, with one side being angled spots. It gave me the idea to do that using the straight road plates. But making the angled spots using 1x6 white tiles isn’t exactly possible if you want a flush clean sidewalk akin to the Modulars. Some stickers are an option to consider.
  12. I’d say she’s all but guaranteed, as she was essential to OotP.
  13. I would imagine August, as that also the timeline of last year...although the later two releases were Fanastic Beasts. Then all the calendars.
  14. Aladdin. As a huge lover of the animation...I loved this one as well. It was fantastic. Even Will Smith not being blue in some scenes didn’t bother me, even if I still don’t like it. He did great as Genie. I don’t think it’s fair to compare him to Williams. Williams is a one of a kind that nobody could compare to.
  15. 76130 Stark Jet and Drone Attack...found it for $56 sticker price. Wouldn’t likely buy this at full, so this was nice.
  16. Mmmmm, donuts. I think I’ll be looking forward to your next update. Sorry....focus! Can’t wait to see what space advancements the city has in store.
  17. Well, they did do the 80’s version that I’m sure many would consider not relevant. I could see them doing the new Voltron, so long as the original one sold well enough I imagine. I regrettably haven’t watched an episode of the show....yet, but I would buy the new version if it were to become a set.
  18. 15...would’ve been 18 if I didn’t second guess a few of my answers.
  19. Well, aside from Target, I’ve talked to the same folks you have, they said they had the same info I did. When I asked S@H about the two release dates & when the US one was, they said they know as much as I do. Then with the store I go to, was told they don’t have the information yet. Guess we’ll know for sure next Friday.
  20. I’m sticking with June being the date. Checking a few LEGO sites, Brickset & the like, most are saying June with the five set reveals. Then a few articles I read from non LEGO sites also list them as June. There were a few that mentioned an August release, but I’m betting that was a mix up between the five & two sets.
  21. Great looking building, the splash of bright colors are a nice touch. And I really like the exposed pipe area on the front there. I’m digging those two features, the lift is ingenious. Looks a like the Planet Express building.
  22. That would be fantastic & certainly fly off the shelves as far as us AFOL’s here are concerned.
  23. That’s good to hear. I plan on calling the day before to check...and to save my friend & I a drive if they happen to not come out Hine 1st. But the official reveals have said the same for release schedule.
  24. Got the last two Disney series 2 off my want list...Chip and Dale.
  25. Haha, that’s great! Works pretty well too.
