This is great. If I sorted by pieces, I would definitely steal this idea. It’s fun watching the build process.

Imagine getting hit with a stuffed animal. This is great, what a creative build. I want to know how this idea came about. It’s so out there.

Yeah, while offering past promotions is nice, I save my points to take a chunk out of the Modulars price. I missed out on the Rocket Ride, would’ve liked to have it. Not sure I want to dedicate some points to it though, especially with the price of Modulars now.

While the only person who sees my town is myself, I love making little scenes. Finding the right combination of colors can be tricky. My plan is to use earth tones like tan & dark tan, brown, and maybe light grey...if four colors doesn’t feel like too much.

There we go! Those legs are also on the newest Fury, I noticed. I tried them on Hermione, but with her provided torso, the red just stopping is strange. Kylo’s legs are a nice touch though, hadn’t thought of that.

When I was last at a LEGO store, on July 1st, I didn’t see anything worthwhile on the wall, certainly not masonry bricks. They had a couple of 1x2 options, regular green & pink. Just stay out of Cali early next month. I need 164 1x2’s....

I love them. I mostly get CMF’s if they’re regular folks I can use in my twin....except the costume guys. I always get them.

Did you see the CMF Spooky Girl hair in cool yellow? That’s another of the exclusive pieces. Also, was there a lot of that baseball torso in the bins?

Oh man. Those 1x2’s are nice colors, including dark green. I’m working on my first MOC but I need about 100 more 1x2’s in dark orange. I just buy needed parts from a local third party store that sells both sets & loose bricks. If I can find those colors I’d be overjoyed. A friend & I are hitting three stores in August...fingers crossed(as well as the BaM exclusives). And the light grey masonry bricks...what a gold mine!

Ahh, okay. I’m just going off the screenshot on Brickset. Even still, I’m sure kids will like them, despite being an odd choice for the VIP program.

The site still isn’t working for me... and I still don’t like the voucher idea. I always plan my purchases ahead but that’s only because I live an hour plus away from a store. If I had one closer, I’d be in there a lot, but this would kill impulse buys, like the Wall or BaM bins. If I could at least see what options are available as a VIP, I may be more welcoming. We’ll see.... Oh, to those complaining of “color sheets” I’m pretty sure those are simply B&W variants, like comic book covers are.

I got the Dragon Boat on the first as well. Didn’t notice how many they had, I saw them put two on the little shelf behind the registers & grabbed one. But I later noticed they had a place on the shelf, but didn’t check the number. It looks like we’re not getting the other two unfortunately.

Looks great, I like all the little scenes. I love the 16x blue building in the first picture using 1x2 plates...I want to make something using that technique, but am not much of MOCer. I love the look of it though.

No picture, but Fudge’s legs paired with CMF Harry & Ron work well for later years them. The printing on Fudge lines up well.

I imagine it will be. Their website was down yesterday, for this I suppose. I’m gonna give them until tomorrow...then if the page isn’t up & my rewards aren’t there, then I’ll call, just to make sure. They’re likely getting enough calls today, I’ll give them a breather.

I was briefly able to see my points, I hit the Learn more—sign in to Reward Centre. It showed my name & points, then down the page it showed options of checking rewards or earn rewards & such, but just kept buffering instead of loading. It kicked me back to the main page showing all the VIP stuff...clicking on sign in to Reward Centre just kept rerouting me to the main VIP page.... As long as my VIP dollars are still there, I’m good. I had a good amount saved up.

Saw from Far From Home, thought it was pretty good.

I wasn’t really into the set originally, but seeing those detail pictures & all those new color leaf pieces is starting to sway me.

This thing is awesome, what a great design. The walking is very cool.

These are some pretty neat little builds. Nothing very complicated, but nice models. I remember toys just like these, small easy to transform bots.

Instead of making an expansive city, one that incorporates businesses, houses, wooded/mountain area, and the like, just focus on one aspect. I used to have a city like that, but since getting more Modulars, I focused it on a downtown area.

This is fantastic! This is the kind of project I love seeing on Ideas, the more oddball sets that don’t fit in a theme. The interchangeable scenes are a smart idea, adds endless play value to it.

@MAB @Aanchir As to the houses, it’s open to interpretation. They don’t show them as being in a relationship. Take 31065 Park Street Townhouse. The box art shows the woman waving to the man from the steps. It could be a girlfriend/wife, or it could her brother, neighbor, or passerby. Then we have 31067 Modular Poolside Party. It comes with a man & little girl. 31068 Modular Modern Home, a woman & little boy. Even the older closed back houses only came with one minifig, when they came with them at all. Even 31069 Modern Family Villa, while they have what could be a married couple, it could just as much be a sibling/other family member or friend visiting. It’s all how you view it Who’s to say any or all of those people aren’t gay & their significant other is at work or what have you?

Just chiming in to say that those groups maybe loud, but I don’t believe they represent either the majority or minority. If one wants to put a label on them, I’d call them fringe. From my perspective, most people are either just fine with it or are indifferent. There’s a lot of fear mongering more than anything.
