Nothing this major. I’m keeping it rather simple, at least for now. There’s no plan to put it my town just yet as it’s pretty packed. What got me going on building it was finding the windshield & 1x1x5 wall piece in a table of loose bricks at the store I referenced.

Marvel Superheroes 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion
Vindicare replied to Anonknee Muss's topic in LEGO Licensed
It is a bit unnecessary to continuously complain about the vehicles that AFOL’s feel are dumb. Yes, it’s understandable because we would prefer other sets. I’d say it’s pretty obvious kids like mechs & vehicles though. It would be great to get more sets like Ultimate Bridge Battle or Daily Bugle Showdown. It’s the same song & dance in the City discussion. -
Here’s my first try at MOCing a building. I saw @eliza bookstore years ago & loved those front windows, always wanting to use them sometime. It’s a slow process because unlike most, I’m a set collector, so when I have an idea, I pick through a set(s) to find the pieces(hence the weird color choices in some). I get the required pieces from a local store that sells bulk & sets that he buys from others. And occasionally I’ll pick through a friend who is a piece collector. I’m not entirely sure what it’s going to be. Either way, I think it’s going to be a front for either a secret society consisting of the gang from Pharaoh’s Quest or S.H.I.E.L.D.

LEGO Hidden Side 2020

That’s definitely good to hear. I was wondering if it would go like the one & done’s we’ve had in years past, it did kinda feel like it. I’m quite excited to get my hands on these to see if the builds are as fun as the end result. -

Could happen. We had our first comic accurate Green Goblin in a Juniors set. And the new Doc Ock has the more accurate goggles I think they’d done some great mechs lately. I really enjoyed building the latest Lex Mech. And the War Machine Hulkbuster is fantastic. As are the Venom mech, it’s easily just a bigger Venom & even the Spidey mech from that set is pretty great. I found it reminiscent of the mech from Aliens. -
Overall, this new system seems pretty good. I never did get that VIP “card” & store promo that is(or was a few days ago) up on the rewards page, so I’m tempted there. But I will never like this voucher idea. Now, I haven’t personally used it yet, but I can already tell it’s going to be a headache. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, as I’ve said this already, as of right now, I need four vouchers just to redeem the dollar amount that I currently have. What a hassle when all I had to do was answer “yes” to the cashier asking if I’d like to use my points.

Took me a second to realize how you made those trees. Very creative! -

Ha, so it is. Maybe they stole it since Marvel didn’t return their calls.... It’s 5571 Giant Truck from Model Team theme. They hint at it on the fender, sticker says “5571 MT.” -

I love that they included the chair flipping feature, that was such a funny part of the original. There really is so much to love about this set. I was definitely surprised when I realized that the tub was actually the front section of that old set, genius. And, they have actual walking access to every part of the place, no need to use imagination to get them up places. -

What a show, thanks for posting the video. Those are some big creations. That giant Ferris wheel is crazy! -
Nice! Hell of a price. It’s a great build. Reading the instructions on the “history” of the set makes the build that much more enjoyable. I also recommend Docks, it’s a fantastic addition.

It seems that lepin is going to copy MOC designs

If you haven’t gotten much, I remembered this happening a few years back with a Barnes & Noble Starbucks Lepin stole from Ideas. It was by @wooootles. I don’t know if anything ever came of it, but maybe he can help you out. -
The Lego Movie 2 - The Second Part 2019 Set Discussion

I loved the build as well. Each room was a lot of fun to see take shape & building the head & torch was the best part of it all. I like how all the compartments stack & look haphazard. It’s easily one of my favorite sets I own. -
I say finish it. It looks really good. No tips though, I just spectate this kind of stuff.

They are...and they aren’t. Before you needed 20K points to get $100, now it’s 13K. And you get more per order. For example, a $99.99 set gets you 650 points instead of 99. I wholeheartedly agree with you on the voucher side, it’s awful. I always save up for the Modular & right now I have $130. So, instead of walking into the store on January 1st & just telling them I’m using it all, I need to request a $100, $20, and two $5 vouchers...a bigger headache where there didn’t need to be one. You’ll have to get two $20’s & a $5....

So I built 76130 Stark Jet and the Drone Attack set during the lockdown. It’s a much nicer set in person. The Jet is pretty cool & a decent build. Happy could’ve used different hair I feel, I put Falcon’s on him, as it portrays Favreau’s hair better I think. -
I have a terrible memory(why I stick to one password). My iPad has that “save password for this site” feature. If I can get my Flickr back, I’ll definitely use it. I’ll have to dig around & see if have old passwords written down somewhere....
-
So, I can’t log in to Flickr because it isn’t the password that I remembered(I’m the weirdo who uses the same password for multiple forums). And the only option to “forgot your password” is an email account that isn’t even used anymore. Tried calling Yahoo, they can’t help because I don’t have a normal computer at the moment. Aside from creating a new account, am I screwed from accessing & posting pictures here?

Certainly, but as I said, going off what we have so far, it looks that way. Looking at the Great Hall, Basilisk aside, that is a Year 1 set. Whomping Willow is a trickier, as it includes the Willow & Anglia. Then the box art shows the scene from Year 1. The Express meanwhile, could be from 3, thanks to Lupin, Dementor, & Sirius poster. But the minifigs are Year 1 height(whereas this year’s Year 3 has medium legs).
-
I wouldn’t think so. Those two sets are distinctly Year 4. Going off of last year’s wave, they were arguably Year 1 & 2(with a hint of 3). The accepted routine is two school years per wave, which has been reflected in this year’s wave.

Finally got it going as well. Kinda tempted by that VIP set that I never got my hands on. Do we know if this will be the only way to get the GWP’s from now on? I suppose it even outs since getting $100 is a shorter road now. —Edit: yeah... never mind. Just loaded a set & the Christmas present is in my bag. So that’s kinda nice...if you missed out on a promo there’s a chance you could still get it. *fingers crossed* come on Rocket Ride!

Well, that head is.....something. Showing it without hair, I wonder if that means they’ll be removable or they just hadn’t glued the hair on yet. I’m hoping the former, that way we can maybe have some decent Super Saiyan hairpiece purist options.
