I sure hope so. I think she’s a worthy candidate for a CMF slot. Although TLG isn’t against putting characters in sets where they wouldn’t necessarily fit. Sets wise, there’s nothing subject matter wise that she was involved in that would make for a good set I think.

Looks good. You really filled it out & gave it a more threatening feel. I like the 1x2 brown spike pieces used throughout.

Island of Misfit Toys perhaps?

You could repurpose the inside & make it a candy store. It would stick out a bit much, but could work I think.

Cannibals at Christmas time! I love it. It’s exactly what I was hoping for. A normal enough looking house, although the fireplace/chimney is something I haven’t personally seen before. It’s definitely those overexcited decorators’ house. A shame the minifig count is so low. They could’ve added two “ugly Christmas sweater” folks to also fill the house instead of the gingerbread family.

The leaked minifigures have led to the WV set being a gingerbread house for some time now, because that’s the only place these minifigures could fit. The leaked male gingerbread minifigure is new, having a mustache.

I’ve never not bought something because of the media it was attached to. In SW terms, I bought 75145 Eclipse Fighter despite having no clue about the ship or the Sith that comes with it. I did buy it in part for Dengar, but I wouldn’t buy a set at that price just for a minifig. I love that entire set, Naare is a cool looking minifig & I really like the design of the ship. Likewise, I do plan on buying Vonreg’s TIE...again, despite having no clue about it Interesting thought though.

Oh man, looks even better! I love the books being part of the building. What’s the area between the titled book? It’s a little hard to see. The skylight is a good idea, it’ll make it a lot easier to see inside all those windows.

I feel like I just watched the movie...great job! The builds are fantastic, the Dino skeleton being really great. The breaker section in the maintenance room is cleverly done, & I love all the foliage throughout.

It depends on where you live for sure, whether Modulars don’t feel real. Downtown where I live we have some older buildings that I could see Modulars being influenced by. My brother went on an Alaskan cruise in May. He sent some pictures of the towns he visited & one looked like it came right out of the Creator Expert theme. Now, as an entire town, I agree Modulars are too much. They’re, to me, more of a downtown setting. When there was less Modulars, I had them with the old enclosed Creator houses & other City buildings & it looked good. Just gotta space them out enough. I wouldn’t compare City sets to Modulars though, different audiences. Plus, they’re just different parts of the same town.

Down a bit on that account there’s a leg that goes with this odd torso. That would be one funky looking robot.

D’oh! I guess I didn’t dig deep enough on Brickset. Not exclusive, but rare. I see a CMF had it...so that’s where it came from. They have a thing for old ladies & cats.

I would go with the van in 60117. It’s just so different from any vehicle we’ve had in recent years. It was nice not building the typical car.

Okay good! I think I cut off too much the first tries. Yes, I’m turning into a crazy LEGO cat AFOL....and I don’t even know why. I’ve seen pictures of exclusive light grey ones as well, just no luck finding any.

True. I’ve seen a lot of “I like it but...” MOC comments. MOC builders spoil us.

Okay...lets give this one more try...... Bloody hell...the exclusive bits, since that’s the fun stuff to talk about, are the acoustic guitar, the vet hair in cool yellow, the cut off jean shorts, & the Vampire lady hair minus the web. @Soupperson1

It’s more working with constraints. Official sets & MOCs aren’t comparable in my opinion. MOCs don’t necessarily have a limit they have to work in. Official sets have a price to meet. The only real limitation MOCs have is the patience a person has to work on a project.

The three I sought out first were Monkey King, Dog Sitter, & Fox Suit Girl. Of those I would have to say Fox Suit Girl, because of the LEGO Movie sequel. And I love the costumed figures for the most part.

True, that works too. It’s a fair bit of work though. If I had a more permanent spot for my town, I’d probably go up...I have a lot of buildings that had to be taken out in favor of the Modulars.

Latest batch, got a few more exclusives. No light grey cats or Spooky Girl hair in cool yellow...was hoping to grab a few more. Saw a bunch of the pumpkins & other Halloween parts.

Just picked up a few, Monkey King, Dog Sitter, & Fox Suit Girl. The store was ready, they had boxes in four separate spots in the store.
