    That station is amazing! Pretty great looking set overall. Excited to get a better look at Chip n Dale & Goofy. The price on this is going to hurt...fortunately I’ll likely be skipping it. I would jump on that station though.

    Yeah, the black torso with the red tie is the graduate. When I saw it in store I couldn’t place it so thought it was exclusive. When I was checking the faces on the CMF’s I noticed the torso.

    Yup, gonna switch out the green 2x4 slope on that one grave for sure. Not sure I’m going to put the entire Graveyard in or not, but I’ll just switch the 2x2 tiles as well of it comes to that. Saw your bus this morning, looking good. Hope the Dummy doesn’t get to banged up testing it though.

    Another exclusive BaM print, minifig heads. Shields are exclusive BaM pieces. The shields are even bigger than the regular ones. I’m thinking they have to show up somewhere soon. I haven’t seen new pieces only showing up in those bins before...but I didn’t follow them too closely before.

    I put a picture in the updated minifig thread. Guyvon mentioned having issues seeing it...so maybe it’s not just him & was missed. I can see it fine, even when not logged in. Supposed to be Sept 1st I believe. Hope so, because I’m planning a trip to a store that day.

    Built Graveyard Mystery. Overall it’s pretty great. I don’t really care for the tree. If I didn’t already build The Rise of Voldemort, the winged statue in the HS one would’ve been a lot better. Love the minifigs & dog. The app doesn’t interest me at all, so the funky colors are annoying. I need to figure out how to fit the whole set on the grounds of the Haunted House, definitely using the headstones & the little shed though. Other definite(hopefully) buys are going to be the boat, bus, & diner.

    Here’s my haul from a few stores today. The female head is a double sided one that I can’t place. Or the two winking faces. And the legs on the “Champs” minifig.

    70420 Graveyard Mystery 2 BaM packs filled with exclusive goodness. 75890 Ferrari F40 Competizione- bought for a friend who loves the car but loves to mock my hobby. Introduce him to the wonder that is LEGO.

    I have that covered as well. Always a day one purchase for Modulars & I show up an hour before the store opens. It’s just the slight headache of having to get the multiple vouchers whereas I just had to say “yes” when wanting to use my points. I’m sure I’m making too big a deal out of having to get vouchers...but I’m not big on change....

    At least that part wouldn’t be a problem for me, I’d just get it all done the night before. But for the impulse buys, it’ll pretty much kill those I imagine. I definitely know the mall I do go to doesn’t have WiFi.

    Overall I don’t mind it either. I especially like the GWP offerings. I also missed out on the Rocket Ride. My only possible complaint is going to be the vouchers(broken record incoming). I save my points throughout the year & dump them all into the Modular on January 1st. As of right now I have $140 in VIP. I’d have to get four vouchers instead of just telling the cashier to use my points. I imagine it won’t be terrible, but definitely a bigger headache than it needed to be. I read on that Brickset article that it sounds like we can still do that in store redemption...so my fussing may be for naught.

    Of course you would note that. But now all those millions you have won’t be worth as much. Well, this is certainly on the “maybe” list. I never was much of a fan, but the set looks fantastic. It’d be nice to see better deals like this across the board though...7 minifigs, nearly 1100 pieces for $60.

    Just finished building both. The Beauxbatons carriage is great & feels more like I got my money’s worth after I built it. It’s a neat build, I like how it opens up. Is it normal to get an extra teacup? I got 5 but the fallout says 4. Also got an extra sticker sheet. Voldemort set is pretty cool too. Going to for sure use the DH headstone with the Haunted House. The statue too. If I can’t find room for the whole set that is.

    It would be cool. They have sets like that, in the Disney Princess theme, so they do it already. As said already, Green Grocer is a market, but the other floors are pretty much empty.

    I would likely either make it a prop house to take photos in/in front of or have it be an over enthusiastic home owner who goes crazy at Christmas.

    Cafe Corner realistically wasn’t a hotel, it was nothing. Technically it is because of the sign, but there’s no interior. So while a new hotel wouldn’t be our first hotel, it wouldn’t be our first functioning hotel.

    Looks great. It has a more bulkier feel, especially in the shoulders, which was the biggest con in the Ultron Edition one.

    I’d love to see Dragonball Z in some form. And a big D2C of Shenron & Porunga. Seeing as they’ve been getting better building mechs, Gundam would be amazing, G Gundam would be first pick as I grew up with that one, toys/models included. Neon Genesis Evangelion would be a fun one to see too. There’s a lot I don’t love to see, definitely CMF series at the least.

    I do this as well, one focus of my buying habits with CMF’s is different city folk....but not firemen. There’s plenty of those to last a lifetime. I much prefer the more obscure ones, like the lumberjack, gangster, “Big Boy” waiter, and the like, that wouldn’t otherwise likely show up in sets.
