CMFs found here in Northern California. About half a box left. But I only checked that one because I was told it had them. Three others I didn’t feel like going to. I’m going to be splitting a box, so I didn’t want to go overboard anyways, bought four.

What a fun character build. Creative uses of the new leaf piece.

I’m, as well as a friend, still hoping those 1x2’s show up on the PaB Wall. I did end up getting a small cup of darker trans blue tiles, which don’t look so bad as farther out water. I was lucky enough to find about 150-200 trans blue tiles at a local second hand LEGO store, so I have a decent amount of extra water. But I feel your pain... But it could’ve translated well to set sales? Wouldn’t that be a better motivator than the movie itself for branding a set under that? A friend of mine never saw the show, but did the movie. He has nearly all the Movie sets now, if not all of them. I’ve also seen a number of comments over the years of people who have no interest in the theme but still own City(and quite likely Docks). Regardless, going off the description, it’s definitely meant to connect as it has the same watery area.

I’m going to put mine on the right side(looking at the interior facing you) of the Astronomy Tower. Those decrees obviously for better near the Great Hall, but that’s where the Clocktower is.

LEGO Monkie Kid 2020

Likely never. These appear to be LEGO store only. Cloud Jet was the first set I purchased, I love it. It’s a great design & cool build. -
45 minifigs...that has to be incorrect. I haven’t heard any definitive number, but the majority assumption is in the 17-20 range. I hear ya on space, the length of DA is going to be 4 Modulars...that’s insane. But there’s some sets I will buy even though I’m already tight on space. By tight I mean it’s pretty much non existent at this point. DA is a definite buy as I’m a massive HP fan. And this Ninjago Gardens set. I just can’t resist it. Not after building City & Docks(and reading the above description). Other themes will have to take a hit in favor of those two sets, but I feel it’ll be worth it.

Agreed. Both of those sets are fantastic, two of the best for sure. I was always hoping we’d see more. This is very, very welcomed news. But man, after Diagon Alley, the recovery is going to be rough.

I just got done trying it out with green. I used trans blue on the ends then put two trans green in between & the blue is hardly noticeable.

Sadly, the trans round with hole doesn’t come in green, just the orange/blue.

Yup, the one set. Fortunately I buy the Superheroes set, so I have that. I assume they’re cheap enough to buy online though. I can’t tell which trans clear brick is being used as the connection? I figure it’s a snot brick with studs on two sides, but I looked on Brickset but couldn’t find it.

75966 Room of Requirement...just needed a small fix. I can stop anytime I want!

I pretty much always save my big purchases for LEGO themselves, as it helps cut down the price of the Modular. I originally planned on just getting all of them from LEGO, but I grew a bit impatient so I went with the smallest. I’m hoping DA coincides with a double points. *fingers crossed* I like that a lot. I was just placing it around and was looking at that placing as well. The opposite side of the wall doesn’t exactly line up with the opening in the Willow set...but it looks good from that side. I also added the Students Pack bookshelf on the end opposite the fireplace. As for Rita not being included in DA because she didn’t show up in DA...that hasn’t stopped TLG in the past. They’ve shoehorned characters who don’t fit in the scene before. While she didn’t show up there, she makes the most sense there. Hell, we got Fortesque(yes, I know he technically “showed up” there, but you’d have to know where & when to look & it’s easy to miss him).

Grabbed RoR set this morning at Target, saw the rest as well. Was a little tough saying no, but I managed. No CMF’s though. But, as we know the series compliments the sets, the trio from Series 2 is likely meant to compliment DA. So it’d be a waste to have Year 6 ones in the set.

A barn is the first thought that came to my mind, with an elf or two tending to the reindeer, similar to the small shed in the Cottage. I highly recommend Expecto Patronum. For starters, of course the patronus. As for two Dementors in your city, that’s too few. They’re usually seen in packs, so the more, the merrier.

These characters of yours are just fantastic. They’re always so expressive. I don’t always voice my thoughts on your builds, but that’s because it’s the same as this comment, just nothing but praise about your builds & the creativity of them & the parts usage.
-
Are you seeing more than just The Burrow & RoR? Those are all I see & the closest in store for RoR is 48 miles away. No in stock of The Burrow.
-
I love how you did the spell blast portion. That’s pretty clever. I may have to steal that, I know I have plenty of those pieces laying around.

LEGO Monkie Kid 2020

The Brickumentary was a pretty fun movie from some years back that may be worth a look to you. It gave some inside into the design process of minifigs, notably the Hot Dog Guy from the CMF’s I believe it was. -
[MOC] The Last of Us Part II - The streets of Seattle
Vindicare replied to KevFett2011's topic in LEGO Licensed
Well, I don’t play the game, but as a fan of olive green, I like this! It looks great, the worn down look of the street, the cracks & dirt bursting through, & even the streetlight. I always enjoy your creations. -
I’m keeping my eye on the RoR set, as I plan on buying the big three at S@H, and I’m seeing the same. Free order pickup “not yet available” as well.
-
Screw the kids! That’s funny though, I love that face(on the poor LEGO employee).
-
Yeah, I don’t really want to make trio after trip, day after day looking for these things. I’m just going to check their site later to see if they give a “pick up” option, which would mean they’re out. That’s how I took it as well. Seems pretty obvious that it would go with the other HP sets though.
-
The price is certainly a surprise, but I’m actually not too surprised by the possible release date. I was thinking that might happen, given this year’s sets got delayed. But I was skeptical because, as far I know, no D2C’s were delayed.
-
So true...it’s like I said earlier on, we all need a tent like the Weasley’s had. That would be ideal. Especially if you can keep expanding as needed.
-
We better make a petition to IKEA for a bigger display case... And of course some will buy them, justifying that stupid inflated price. In other strike out news, went to four Targets(Northern California) and nothing...I did see the tags on the shelves. Just to hopefully clarify, will the sets officially be in Target on the 14th, as that’s the shipping date on the site? Even though I believe the Burrow pre order was for the 15th.
