The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
Vindicare replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
That was the main reason I wanted the set as well, that Poison Ivy fig is amazing. After building it..the set is fantastic too. The build & end result are great fun. All the Bat vehicles are great. -
Well...Guardians is set to have five credit scenes... I'm quite interested to see how they sell Ego being Quill's dad. I hate, at least on paper, this idea...but I'm open to see how it'll play out.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Vindicare replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
That was a cool video. Interesting to hear the backstory on Market Street's origin. I had always wondered which came first, MS or Cafe Corner. Seeing the tan townhouse next to the pet shop on the shelf...that's a nice looking build. And the Green Grocer. -
Watched the panel...very sad. But also quite heartwarming. The new trailer...

Best thing to do, is just start. It sounds like you don't have much currently. So, just start with what you have on one table, then just work out as you gain other things. I do a lot of YouTube watching of layouts as well. It'll give you many ideas.

Special Pieces - Your Opinion
Vindicare replied to legostarwars1425's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I'm a purist, so I pretty much don't pay them much mind. They are cool though, like the centaur legs mentioned above. I've taken a look at BrickArms before, years ago. Almost bought a few things, but ended up not doing so. Seeing them in a buddy's store earlier in the month has me rethinking that purchase though. They definketky are nice to have available.- 16 replies

Huh, interesting. That's cool. I guess Googling prior to my questions would've helped too... I guess I need to get more Lego books.- 18 replies

71253 Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them story pack...for Newt mostly. Going to see if I can fit the pad decoration into the Cafe Corner, as a start to a bar area.

You continue to shine, Nightstalker. I really like your characters. Those companies must love you.

I too would say the Mixer. It's a fantastic set that is such a great complete package. The ride is such a blast to play with, especially if you add Power Functions. On on the flip side, I currently have Horizon Express in my layout. I do somewhat regret not having a second copy.

LEGO Rundown- Are All Themes Connected?
Vindicare replied to HardHatEric's topic in General LEGO Discussion
But with which Dino theme? I checked the recent Dino, from a few years back, Dino Attack, and the sub theme of Adventurers...no mention of a Josh Thunder named character, according to Brickset.- 18 replies

Toys R Us currently has Dimensions story packs for $29.99. I almost pulled the trigger on Fantastic Beasts...but was curious, as it seems Dimensions may be on the outs, is that likely to be the best price we'll see or will they be clearances muxh like other like toys are?

LEGO Rundown- Are All Themes Connected?
Vindicare replied to HardHatEric's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Who's Josh Thunder? Looking at Brickset, there's no names attached to Dino or Dino Attack, so which theme is he in? Ultra Agents, in the case of Solomon Blaze, must be set in the distant future, as Agent Blaze appears to be much older than Squad Blaze.- 18 replies

Another great showing, Oky. The last one especially. That's a crossover movie I'd watch.

Aye...to both. Most MOCs I see I think are cool, but this...I really want it. But, as like Captain there...I suck at building. When it comes to LEGO building, I'm early movie Emmet, I require instructions for even the most basic of things.

Definitely not what I was expecting from the title...very cool! The Lizard is especially so. The Thanos build is awesome, despite the small head...

That's nice, really like the little crooked path. What about adding the picnic table under the tree(if you want to fill out the area more, that is).

Not exactly a what to buy...but a should I buy? I'm kinda torn, I want that new cube calendar & I have the $20 in VIP money. I usually save that to help with Modulars, but I really like that darn calendar...

This is great! This would make for a good Ideas set, I'd buy it.
