RC Hamster
TheItalianBrick replied to Sariel's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
best review ever!!!!! Thanks Sariel for this super funny video!! -
.....if he is so good why hasn't he came with the same idea of truck before LEGO did?? These people making replicas are just ridiculouse (in my opinion) because they try to show off their skills......but honestly I don't see any skills at looking pictures and coping a model! If they were that good they could have done such a truck by themself years ago....

Where to buy Parts
TheItalianBrick replied to Beck's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
To be honest I do use Bricklink...but it's just old now....it's not as good as BrickOwl...the amazing tools Brickowl has and the all shopping experience it's 10 times better than Bricklink! And at the end of the day most of the seller do have a shop on both platforms. P.S. little suggestion: my shopping experience works this way: 3 google pages opened, in the first one there is Brick&Pieces, in the second one brickowl and in the third one Bricklink....I do check the prices of each part against all the platforms to see what's the cheapest...so at the end I have 3 basket with the lowest prices combinations! Hope it can help other people! -
Thanks very much! I'm really happy for my achievement! But next time I'll make sure I'll win! :) Currently working on the full RC model so hooe when it's completed I'll start to make instructions!

"Professionaly" speaking your "boss" is giving you a deadline...so you have to be ready for that day! if he gives you one more day then consider it as a bonus...not a MALUS!

Jim have you noticed the Clint Eastwood's hand on my video?? Looks terrible.....I'm not good at making video!!

Thanks very much!!! Thanks Victor! I'll vote your entry as I love it!!!!!!! In this version the forks are moved in and out manually...there is a 20 teeth gear in the middle....normally in the ful RC version there is an M motor that moves it! :) I'm with you, I mean the yellow one should look amazing too. But as you said to many yellow entries! Probably I'll build it in white aswell.... Bytheway in yellow it's even cheaper to build it!

Thanks for your comment! About the speed......driving speed it's fine...specially for such a heavy machine (both real life and LEGO itself), about the fork lifting speed it could be faster but it wouldn't have the same lift capacity....I'm working on it in order to improve it but the weight of the forks themself it's tremendous!!

Hello, instructions will be made, but first I need to be sure the model works perfectly! Wouldn't be fair to sell (altought for a cheap price) something that doesn't work fine. Other functions will be: folding cabin, switch lights, extendable forks and 2 gears gearbox (low and high gears). But please this is off topic...I'll open a new post after the voting! Thanks

Guys I'm definitely up to be revomed from the HoF for the moment...and eventually be on it when the full RC it's ready and shown! So Alasdair/Jim feel free to remove it! I'm really ok with this decision
-
I do agree with you somehow! That's why I haven't created a topic with the full RC version/instructions for the reasons above! bear with me it's not my decision to be on the HOF at this stage before the voting although I'm very happy for this!!

Don't know what to say Alasdair as I'm simply so happy!!!!!!!!!! Thanks very much and thanks for appreciating the effert I put in doing my MOCs...it pays off!!
