Send Customer Service an email and ask about their availability and price, quoting all the Element ID's of the OOS parts you want. It's likely they do have all the parts, but they're not going to update their OOS status any time soon. I mean, I emailed them a month ago about buying a couple of Chima pieces that were OOS, they turned out to have them, I got them in the mail, and a month on, they are still marked OOS when it's clearly not true. Because of that, I have gone and brought up a complaint with LEGO about BnP and it's new part availaibilty, because frankly I've found it a bit shocking recently. I'll see what they have to say for themselves. The whole service is falling apart at the seams frankly, my last BnP order had missing parts and it took 2 weeks after I called them to ship the missing parts! I'm tempted to ditch it altogether and swallow BL's slightly higher prices...

Jurassic World 2015 Rumors & Discussion
TheOneVeyronian replied to adotnamedstud's topic in LEGO Licensed
Hope you don't mind me getting in early, but if you do end up finding any in the future, I'd gladly take one off your hands . This Gallimimus polybag has proven a real pain to find for a good price, even my usual method for hard to obtain polys, making a wanted post in Brickset's Forum marketplace, has failed me. I would pre-order the Gallimimus edition, but given it's more expensive than the standard game and I have no need for the game, it's too much hassle for me. Plus, if they did ever arrive at UK TRU, my local would fail me too as I have never seen them stock polybags, not even Rocket Raccoon- 1,412 replies

Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion
TheOneVeyronian replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
It's there alright: http://shop.lego.com...Listing=listing - you can place an order for it too, it just has an expected ship date of 12th June, obviously due to LEGO trying to remedy the problems with the set I must admit, I'm pretty annoyed the UK isn't getting the Winter Soldier promo as I was planning a lot of purchases this month, we just get a Friends freebie that only comes with Friends purchases. I don't even buy any Friends -
In the US they might be out in some stores in July. But where I am, it's highly unlikely I'll see them in physical stores until August. It's been that way for the last couple of years for the majority of Constraction sets. Only catalogue stores like Argos had them for sale in July, but last year or two they've been on a bit of a Constraction boycott, so to say

Nope, it appears not. August is sure now. What's interesting though is that the other day, I was browsing TRU UK's website, and symbolising the Bionicle theme there was Skull Grinder's beautifully grotesque head (not the MoCr as you'd expect), which gave me hope that the Summer sets might have been on their way. Alas, no.

I had that problem too. The new pieces are still in the system though, just search for their design ID. Searching element ID's for the parts in the new sets still yields results, like 6108808 (trans-neon green chain), or 6109556 (spring yellowish green barb). Still, all the parts I wanted are OOS, so I shot Customer Service an email in the vague hope that they might "find the pieces I want in the warehouse" and I might be able to buy them. I really want my Spring Yellowish Green parts! But that aside, I've been disappointed with Bricks and Pieces availability in general recently, parts that were released in May and are available in the warehouse (confirmed available by contacting CS about them) are still marked out of stock Also, none of the instructions are up for the new sets either, though they really should be. And the Ninjago website got a new skin and content but it's now really laggy and the new products in the "products" page don't load, or load a blank page. Something really funny is going on, and I'm not laughing

I too am frustrated there appears to be a complete lack of LDD updates this year, I have many ideas that involve using 2015 parts (for example, I'm trying to plan a mechanism that can fire 7+ gatling guns at once, but it's much harder without the necessary gatling gun pieces, 2 2015 parts, in LDD). But I had a bit of a worrying thought. What if LDD updates have been put on a back burner due to LEGO Worlds, pretty much a Minecraft-meets-LDD building game being released? I know, probably unlikely, but that's the only reason I can really think as to why LEGO have been putting off LDD updates. Maybe they are integrating the next release of LDD into Worlds, like how LDD had "Universe mode" that integrated somewhat with LEGO Universe? (though I am hoping this is not true). Or maybe we're just not going to see anything until Autumn, after all the Summer waves come out, then we have a brick update that encompasses the vast majority of 2015 moulds. Honestly, I'd take anything at this point!

Well, the Ninjago sets have now hit S@H UK! Turns out Chain Cycle Ambush is £24.99 and City of Stiix is £89.99 (not the £100 TRU price). Hopefully I might be able to go pick up the new Destiny's Bounty (was really hoping it'd be £89.99 but oh well) on Friday and maybe do some comparison photos with the old DB (which I also have). Just hoping the new one's worth an extra £40 to be honest. Though I'm willing to bet that comparison pictures have probably already been done...

The Future of Ninjago
TheOneVeyronian replied to Master_Data's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Sorry, I meant a single mould for both wings and tail is what I'd like to see. Or folded minifig size dragon wings. Or armour with already integrated clips or just a minifig neck bracket with clips (3rd party customisers have already made them, high time LEGO followed really) to hold the Chima wings. After all, we do already have a minifig neck bracket with 2 types of insect wing, why not the same but with dragon wings? Anyway, that's what I'd like to see in future Ninjago anyhow. And really, dragon people? I think it's a no brainer, we all know dragons sell, so I'd be surprised if LEGO doesn't do this at some point. -
The Future of Ninjago
TheOneVeyronian replied to Master_Data's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I can honestly see Ninjago continuing for quite some time (after all, the movie is coming eventually), and with regards to villains, I can see them going to evil dragon people or something like that (any excuse to get moulded dragon wings and tails for minifigures is fine by me though, I have wanted to create an anthropomorphic dragon minifigure for quite some time). Well, since Chima is gone, I guess I need Ninjago to occupy my interest and stop me regressing to purely being interested in constraction, and things other people have suggested, like dragon people, demons and cthulu for instance, would definitely keep me interested in the line. Evil humans, eh, not so much, unless the sets come with dragons or other fantasy beasts of course -

May I add that Pitch doesn't have his pannier in 70731? Also, the balaclavas are almost definitely Earth Blue, not black I also took the liberty of isolating the Morro Dragon art seen in the link posted earlier, and here it is! Shame there's something obscuring part of the body.

Thanks for the heads-up, even though I won't be able to visit a LEGO Store until June anyway. But good to know my local LEGO Store has them out. Did you happen to see the prices of City of Stiix (because I believe TRU's £100 price is inflated) and Chain Cycle Ambush in there?
-
Looks like Jay Walker One is exclusive to Argos in the UK. £29.99. That would leave me to assume that Chain Cycle Ambush is the Smyths exclusive, but I couldn't see it in the Smyths I visited yesterday, despite them having all the other Ninjago sets out

Honestly, I think all CCBS feet with a pre-moulded socket could have been more useful than just feet if they followed the principle that many Bionicle feet followed and have a cavity with an axle hole where one of these could be slid in. This could be so easily have been part of the 2.0 foot, and it's implementation would only have lost one Technic pin hole (but the increased options and improved aesthetics would have made for a vastly improved part). I'm honestly not sure why LEGO went for a pre-moulded socket now Anyway, I wouldn't mind seeing a CCBS version of the Mata foot. We really need small non-bestial feet in the lineup. Also, I'd like the Skrall shield to come back. I have three: one red, one unprinted and one where I painted the geometric lines blue. It's much more interesting than the saw blade we have currently, and fits a number of aesthetics.

Apparently, a lot of them Ghost Warrior Cowler gets two all to himself though, as I realised when I picked up the Blaster Bike set at Smyths today. It's a nice set, maybe a little overpriced but the mini dragon is pretty decent. Though I will admit, the lack of legs is a bit annoying especially for display purposes, but I'm planning to rectify that with some simple additions, hence why I've been trying to build the legless dragons in LDD. Oh, and the gatling guns come in black for the first time in this set, always a useful colour. The only nitpick I have with the set is that parts of the launcher are obscured by the parts in front, so they do kind of misfire, and I did kind of expect an automatic pop-up feature to them (alas, it's completely manual, the two launchers even have to be lifted independently into position )

Oh, I know that. What I meant to say is that the tail looks off-center to me, as if the piece you pictured was attached to this. I wasn't talking about the rotation of the tail. But I'm probably just overthinking it and it's just the same connection as the head. I do that a lot
-
I thought that originally too, but the tail is at a very strange angle which is what is throwing me off. Unless there's some artistic liberties being taken, the angle of the tail implies some side-to-side movement as well. Amazon Marketplace sellers have been doing that for years, well at least on Amazon.co.uk anyway

Does anybody have the Ronin R.E.X. set yet? I'm trying to piece together the dragon in that set on LDD so I can plan some modifications to it, but it's quite hard to determine all the parts used in it. If anybody can upload even just a list of parts that make up the dragon, that would help. Also, anybody have any ideas on the tail connection used in the Cowler Dragon polybag? I have been able to discern most of it just from the picture on the front, but the tail connection and pieces used in the back of the body have me completely stumped... Yes, I'm aware that instructions will probably appear online for both on Monday, but anything that I can use to get a headway now would be useful

I somehow never realised that there was azure robot arms in the new Frosticons! I just know that I'm going to have to pick some of those up in bulk, I can never have enough robot arms to make articulated hands with! Thanks for that Just2Good For some reason Chilbo is giving me a "Sid the Sloth" vibe which I just love. Probably my favourite of the new Frosticons

The login is now just completely screwed up. Earlier, it kept telling me I didn't have permission to view the page every time I tried to access a login page. All I wanted to do was check on an order status. And what's worse, even BnP has been on a steep downward spiral in quality, I mean, when they opened for the first time this year they were shipping orders within a day. Now they take 2 weeks to just ship... I ordered some BnP on the 7th (it was only about 25 parts), got it on the 19th and it had a whole lot missing, which was vital to my build. Rung up the customer service (who are wonderful), and they agreed to send out the missing pieces (there was only 6) wiith the promise I'd get it in the next 10 working days at most. That was 9 days ago, and according to the new order status, it hasn't even been sent! Seriously, how on earth does it take this long to pick and send just 6 pieces, all the same part!? Guess I'll be on the phone to them tomorrow, since I don't see my missing parts arriving anytime soon...

I don't really have any qualms about mixing silver and gunmetal at all really (sometimes for me, it's a necessity when making a very large MOC and when distributed correctly, gives a nice impression of multiple alloy armour), and I quite like the colour schemes of all the Toa (asides from using yellow for the gears on all of them - it stands out way too much on most of them so I swapped them for black - except on Gali where yellow is used elsewhere on the model). But I will be honest - I would have preferred it if Tahu's chestplate (the armour add-on to the torso shell that is) were red, Kopaka's white, Lewa's green and Gali's dark azure, to match their elemental colours. Pohatu looks a bit like the odd one out out of all the ones that use small chestplates. The only colour scheme I'm not really a fan of is Kopaka's, but that's purely because it's a bit jumbled and there's too much going on. I know I removed his trans-blue bones and replaced them with black and it does help somewhat (though I'll be honest - I needed his bones for an MOC), but ultimately, the silver torso armour really should have been gold or white instead. It would have been a chance to get the Brain Attack torso shell in a new colour too

Nice find! Just noticed this on Brickset as well, where it's called The Cowler Dragon. Shame it's only in Singapore at the moment (I don't tend to get anything shipped from that region, but if someone offers me one, I probably won't say no ), but none of it's constituent parts appear to be excessively rare so should be easy to buy the parts for one from Bricklink or Bricks and Pieces. Just hoping the figure isn't exclusive, but given it's the Cowler Dragon, it's reasonable to assume the figure is Cowler (and he appears in other sets so not hard to get him). I know LEGO will probably publish the instructions and parts list on it's servers at the start of June, but if anybody's got this polybag and opened it, please share some shots of the instructions and consituent parts, they will be greatly appreciated by this dragon lover
